- The Tiger II H in War Thunder is one of the most sought after tanks for newer players but what is it like after all the power creep? Today, I find out!
The King Tiger has always been a fan favourite amongst historians as the most terrifying tank of WW2 that was actually fielded in battle. I'm sure every Wehraboo has watched the History Channel and heard the terms "Impenetrable Steel Skin" and other such ridiculous claims.
In War Thunder, the Tiger 2 H can face off against a multitude of Post and Cold War vehicles that fire APDS and Chemical Rounds that render its armour not useless... just less useful.
The German Tiger II H is one of my best stat vehicles in War Thunder and there's a perfectly good reason for it, too. The tank is an absolute monster.

@Samuel Gracia I have been playing low tier Italian, Chinese, Swedish and English to keep busy and avoid paying high repair costs on German and American tanks. Trouble is, those countries are getting up in the 4+ range too.

I was hoping gaijin would add a feature in the vehicle customization wherein you could remove the skirts coz I think it looks cool without it like on a panther, a jumbo or an M4A1 76W or even the panzer IV/70 when you put the wide tracks..

but .3 BR above is a fully stabilized sabot round firing LOLPEN MBT lineup which they face 100% of the time LOL!
Ah, yes. The ones you can pen back, are not any more mobile than you are, have no APHE and need to hit ammo or specific angles if they want to kill your armored bus in less than two or three shots? Also lolpen is exaggerating, they can't go throught your UFP if it's at an angle or you get an elevation advantage for example. They're .3 BR above for a reason, and they're far from impossible to play against.

The concept of first tank to fire a shot wins the duel applies to every tank in the game. I have a 81% winrate on my 7.0 Brit stress reliever lineup and the only times I lose a duel to Tiger 2s are if I make a mistake for them to shoot my lower plate, or they catch me off guard and sideshot me. Low spalling argument makes no sense, as after you easily pen their turret while on the move with the first shot, there is 0 chance for them to survive as they are breeched and half their crew dies. This is the only lineup I ever use GE wagers in. But yeah, I'll see you in the battlefields of War Thunder on your Tiger 2.. Oh wait, you probably don't play 6.7 Germany because you yourself know how bullshit it is 😂
@Gabriel Monte Let's not be rude here. How do you know he's a wehraboo? I love playing my 7.0 Brit lineup and I can totally see how unfair it is. With 6.5 second reload, post penetration damage is irrelevant as the first shot already disables their gun.
Yes the first person to land a shot wins a duel. Yes, even a 4.3 BR Dicker Max can destroy the Caernarvon if it lands the first shot on the lower plate. What is your point?

Wittmann was frequently reckless, left his flanks exposed, and got blown up. So they kinda are Wittmann.
Now Carius on the other hand, he survived the war and lived a long life. That's who they are not.
Problem is that Wittmann still has a respectable kill count to back it up, some of us just rush and die, like me

I bought the tiger 2 H S.la 16 because it went on sale recently, by far one of my best purchases ever on WT. it’s highly mobile, crap ton of armour and that gun.. oh my god, it’s the perfect tank. Germany in WT is the best nation, hands down.
@@FlatOutMatt it just dominates, I have all the tiger 1’s and Tiger 2’s in the game (except the event one, because gaijin removed it sadge) and I have the most fun in the SLA, I have no idea why but it just feels more fun than the regular tiger 2’s..
I have the sla.16, my favorite vehicle in the game, no competition, it not only helped me grind out German 6.7 as a whole with ease, but it's still awesome to use anyway.
It helps if all your nations tanks are hilariously downtiered and blatantly overpowered, because your average braindead German main basically starts crying when the tech tree is setup to the same standards as France/US/UK
The Kingtiger just looks the sexiest of all the WW2 tanks imo.
Looks hell, it and the Panthers are the sexiest tanks in the game period.

I think you are an AMAZING War Thunder player. Not only a great player (getting into positions and killing enemies). What keeps me coming back is your respect for the team and other players period. So many War Thunder players/ streamers just don't give a flying flip about the objectives, players or working as a team at all. I've been on this game for over 5 years and it has come a long way and yes, it has major issues they need to address.
As far as people complaining about your gameplay or anything else on YOUR channel, they can just bugger off and do their own videos. Don't listen to them or let them get you down. Like I said, you are an amazing player and you put OUT GREAT content m keep it up, Oddbawz!!!
Love these videos I'm so jealous of the gameplay since I only have a 50 percent effectiveness in battles, I also want the tiger 10 cm back in the tree so I can actually squire it and attempt this. Keep up the awesome work and gameplay

My gripe with really big maps is how long it takes to get anywhere close to the battle. It's a real incentive to NOT DIE because you're out of the game so long. And I'm talking about getting within a kilometer of a target.

Great video Odd. I would like to see you play the Tiger 1E. The H1 gets a lot of play, but the E is like a forgotten step brother, which is a shame because it is one of my favorites.
I like the H1 more than the E cause with the E i always get at 6.3/6.7 and it’s pretty much useless

Hey Odd! For the 69k Q&A, I wanted to ask one gameplay question and one personal one.
*Gameplay* : How do you manage to see the movement behind bushes/trees? I play the game with mostly highest (some high-medium) settings. Could you talk us through your settings? Even if my PC isn't as beefy.
*Personal* : What do you do when War Thunder becomes too much? For many of us, we play to unwind and de-stress. But WT can itself cause stress. Do you plan to upload any of the other game content, if you play any?

This video remembered me of old hard times when Tiger II H constantly faced IS-3, IS-4, and T10M's.
But now playing Tiger II is looks like easy mode unless you get hit by ATGM or outmaneuvered by fast tanks.
