The German Tiger heavy tank is well known both historically and in War Thunder for being a pretty tough vehicle. The new Italian Tigris premium is basically the same thing, but with slightly better frontal armor and teammates. Sometimes.

Now that Gaijin has managed to get a Sherman into every tech tree, they have started working on getting a Tiger into each one.
The US & Sweden can get a Tiger II, as they got some post war for testing. Meanwhile, France can get a Tiger I, as they used it post war before they started new tank production.

The Tiger has always been a favorite just because of the looks and stigma, but honestly dealing with the German mains on War Thunder has completely changed my opinion haha
Playing Germany you feel all powerful and think its a skill issue that they cant be killed. But them something stupid like bouncing the weakpoint happens.

Seeing that Tog shoot the very corner for your tank and get a pen made me realize that a really neat way to do something good for solid shot would be if the shell could actually ricochet inside the tank if it doesn't have enough pen to just go right back out again.
For those wondering, in Hungarian it's pronounced kind of like "Tigrish", just say English with a T and you're pretty close. Hungarian is almost 100% phonetic as a language so the letters have constant sounds associated to them, unlike in English.

Kind of like how the Sherman is in every tree. (Germany has one too. Its an event vehicle.)
The sherman isnt the best vehicle, but its not bad and is fun to use.
@@aiedenoldstien9751 it's not an event vehicle, it was given away to alpha testers of the game, and is available for purchase once a year.
Also the lower br Shermans (3.3-5.0) are some of the best tanks at their br's imo

Perhaps now Hungary is in the Italian tree Gaijin will add the 44m Tas as a tech tree vehicle, which would give Italy a heavy tank that is basically a panther with tiger 1 armour thickness. Also the P40 was technically a heavy tank by Italian standards, but didn’t make the cut for gaijin.
My biggest fear if they add the Tas, which let's face on the margin of being an addable vehichle, is that they might call it a medium tank.

Maybe Gaijin will once get to introducing the 44M Tas which was Hungary's attempt at producing their own type of Panther. Not exactly a heavy tank but the closest the Italians get from a WW2 vehicle on their tech tree.
Another amazing video! You should try playing a HE slinger with proximity shells as SPAA, and SPAA as anti-tank, both in the same lineup. I think it'd make for an interesting video.

This thing is impressive, even for someone like me who isn't really interested that much in the lower tiers, whether you buy it now at full price or later on during a sale you can't go wrong with it!
The tiger is more in the early mid tiers. But it does give Italy a heavy tank for heavy tank challenges. Even if it can be annoying.
I love watching you hit all these awesome clips, opening war thunder to maybe replicate some of it once or twice, and ending up shooting the same tank 5 times without killing it for 3 hours

hey spookston, i think you should play the hungarian Turan III, it is a great tank and has carried me through the italian techtree. It has decent armor, great speed and an amazing gun.

That thing should probably still go up in BR to at least 4.3. either way I love that thing and agree it's nasty. I almost have a 6 KDR with 108 kills and sub 20 deaths. I always come back to it for funsies
@@notsoracistraspberry4168 the turan III is amazing. One time i was in a 5.7 game and 2 TOGs II were surrounding me, i killed one and before i could kill the other my game crashed.

Hilariously, the most fun I've had with the Italian tech tree yet is playing this with the Turan III as my backup; despite the 2.0 BR gap, that thing rises to the occasion far better than it ought to.
You should play the R3 T106 FA or the Ikv 72. And keep up the good work, Spookston.
Day 8: You should play any of th cv90 they have good moblity and a powerful 40mm cannon along with having apfds as starting rounds plus it has he-vt

If Gaijin wanted to give the Hungarian subtree a heavy tank, they could add a Hungarian IS-2. Given the other Soviet equipment that Hungary (As the Hungarian People's Republic) got during the Cold War, it's not all that hard to thing they could get an IS-2 for the tech tree to compliment the premium Tigris (Tiger I Ausf. E).

I heard there is a Tarkzay's medal in WOT tho I dont play that game so I dont exactly know about that, but it seems like it is based on the battle that Tarkzay ambushed a 5 tank Soviet convoy in his tiger(these are proven to be SU-122s, but they do resemble T-34 as thats their chassis) and managed to take out 4 of them. Albeit the medal itself is completely fictional, would still be able to imagine the medal in WT be like, destroy 5 tanks with 2 crews left in your tank, and repeating the act for 10 times, or other things idk
Hey Spook, I'd like to see you play the Stug III A. It's a really overlooked low tier TD that can work as a brawler with decent armor, good mobility and a quick-reloading point-and click HEAT dispenser.

Hey Spookston, you should play the new Swedish premium SAV, its so goofy with a 120mm auto cannon and decent pen for the battle rating as well as a whole lot of HE filler so it over pressures way to often.
It's absolutely broken and ruining most of my 3.0 games unless they are on my team. Needs to be upped in br. I haven't died to anything else as much as that thing.

Hey spookston, I think you should play the IS-1, It has surprisingly good mobility and a good gun if you use it well, The armour is pretty good, and its overall a pretty good tank.
Its a slower T-34-85 with same battle rating and equally useless armor

The armour can be very trolly sometimes. You can't rely on it but it will save you from time to time unlike the T-34-85.
@@phunkracyThe t-34 uses the same armor all the way up to the 85. The only difference is the turret armor. (And the amount of bias they get.)
The Is1 does have better armor. Though like most tanks, has a pretty big weakpoint for someone who knows it.

Tbh it doesn’t add much, the 30mm tracks only add like 15mm and they fly off after getting shot

Funnily enough, at 3:25 I can hear Hungarian voice quotes. It does make sense in terms of WWII since Hungary was also axis, but we never had any Tigers to begin with xD so that's that..

Hey Spookston! Can you try out the type 75 sph? Compared to other artillery pieces it’s not really the best at anything but it has a 10 second reload and it’s at relatively low battle rating compared to other artillery with short reloads

I absolutely love this thing, my 3rd game in it i got 16 kills, only 4 of them were with the m18, and I keep getting around 8 kills games
If you shoot the periscope on a Tiger II H's hull, it for some reason will occasionally bounce the round into the roof of the hull, it'll basically go under the turret cheek and kill everyone inside.
I found this out when i turned a corner full speed and got one shot by a Pershing who panic shot me from like 300 meters. This was not even 2 minutes into the match, i was very angry.

Have you played the AMX-50 TOA100? Just got 7.7 France and it’s definitely my favourite vehicle right now. If you’d rather a faster tank, the Lorraine 40t is just if you trade the armour for more speed.
