When slotting in Mids, you can auto fill a set after the first one has been placed by holding shift and clicking the mouse wheel.

I do believe this is the finest and most clearly explained and comprehensive enhancement guide I’ve yet come across. And the only reason I was still looking is I didn’t find yours first. This is excellent and much appreciated. I’m old and slow to pick all this up since playing Live 16-20 yrs ago. Bravo 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 and thank you!
As a new player to City of Heroes I spent a lot of time in reading up on the game. A lot of the guides are outdated or not well done. You're making the best ones on youtube, excellent quality and relatively easy for a newb. Keep it up 👍 one suggestion I have would maybe be a guide on efficient ways to level up. Like which areas, arcs or task forces are worth it for a new solo player perhaps. I keep wanting to make and try new characters but grinding them all to 20 or 30 has been a repetitive slog though I've heard you can do these things fast.
You can either make some friends that do fire farms often or level a brute on a 2nd account and use someone fire farm build to do them urself and boost ur alt if u dont wana level the first 30 levels, althought i generally dont mind as u can get to level 30 in 3-5 hourish just by playing, also if u see a MSR(motherside raid in rikti war zone) event starting they are good i have joined on a lvl 1 character and by the end i was 25ish :)

Very helpful, even for a vet of the game
AOE has a set range. However ranged cone moves can have max range increased. My blaster has a 65 yard range on Steam Spray (enhanced from base 40).
Melee aoe and targeted aoe cannot have the size of the aoe increased and range cone moves cannot have the width of the arc increased.
If you notice, the cone move from most range dmg sets is your most devastating, fastest cooling down, AOE attack. The down side is the often narrow arc and short range making positioning all too important. Steam Spray from water blast has a wider arc than most and is the 2nd hardest hitting of them all (slightly behind fire on dmg but with a much wider arc). Having a 65 yard 50° arc cone move that cools down in 6 seconds and 1shots yellow minions is a game changer.

I always pur FF Chance for +Recharge in Kick. It's cheap and if I'm ever using Kick it's cuz all my other powers are recharging anyways.
The background music is extremely distracting. Just don‘t use any background music to improve your video quality.
Would love to see you talk just a little bit about how you get the enhancements once you’ve designed the build? It is just about spending influence to buy on the AH? Or are there other methods/steps? Also, do you build it out at level 50, or do you slot lower level enhancements as early as possible?
buying the enhancements off AH or recipes and crafting them are the 2 main options for getting them as for the 2nd question, i would say either slot the cheap attuned sets and then slot ur build at 50 or just go full attuned and slot as u level really depends on if u exemplar more, i tend to buy cheaper IO sets as i level and then unslot them at 50 so i can reuse them on alts, hope this helps!
Why give up the AOE Defense on the Winter Lord sets to add the -Res proc, when you can give up the slot in the Ragnarok set and only lose Tox/Psi Resist. I know you're breezing through this to show ppl, and it's greatly appreciated, but I was curious. I do my tools mostly the same as yours but usually with that difference.
sry for the late reply, i had a fairly high aoe defence already and had a lowish psi and toxic resistance and wanted to try raising that a lil althought the proc is nice and i do normaly use it, thought i was just trying to show it via the video but thnx for the comment i do like hearing how people do their builds!
