Gilchrist goal is really special. He comes from a family of Chelsea supporters, getting his first goal infront of the home fans to top off a really good win.
In the interview after he was talking about how he used to look at the screen from the crowd to watch the goal replays, and being able to see himself of the screen scoring at Stanford Bridge was a surreal feeling

Well I suppose this season for Chelsea was always going to be low expectations (not top-4 finish) while they are building up for next few seasons that they can start competing for Champions League again. Not saying that Chelsea is currently, where they should be (Europa League finish 5th-7th places) based on their squad, but it's still possible.

It was a foul on Palmer. The ref saw the advantage being there so "played on" as advantage, when Madueke got knocked over in the box the advantage stops and it is pulled back for the first foul - which was in the box, thus it's a penalty.
People be saying "Why not just give the penalty in the first place"... because let's suppose you stop a clear goalscoring opportunity (i.e player rolls the ball to another player 5 yards out with an empty net, but the player making the pass is fouled), to give a penalty, there's a good chance the penalty might be saved, so it would be "Advantageous" to continue without stopping for the penalty.
When the advantage comes to nothing because another player on the same team is knocked off the ball, then the advantage stops and the first foul is given, which happened to be in the box, making it a pen.
