Mark spent 70 minutes slagging off Antony and Ten Hag and the team. Then when Antony scores he says he deserves that for the way everyone has turned on him. Mark himself was the one calling him out but then calls out the rest of football after he scores for saying the same as Mark was himself saying.

Relying on a penalty to beat Burnley at the end of the game and complaining about being robbed is desperation…we are utter rubbish, players are useless and the manager is just as useless as them. Doesn’t have a clue what to do, tactically non existent, we should be winning that game comfortably regardless of Burnley’s recent form, can’t implement his brand of football. We’ve nearly equalled our record in the season under moyes and even moyes had a better goal difference. Ten hag isn’t capable of getting rid of the players that need to go and I honestly think regardless of us winning the fa cup or not. He’s finished. I don’t see it getting better next year because the regression from last season is so steep. I don’t know what the solution is anymore and this lot make you lose your love of the game.
2 years ago Utd finished 6th with 58 points and a 0 GD I think, in what was a disaster of a season for you guys with Solskjaer/Rangnick at the helm. 2 years into Ten Hag's reign after spending 400m on a dozen players, Utd are right back where they were 2 years ago with basically the same points and GD, still looking as clueless as ever on the pitch and still without any real footballing identity. That is shocking. If that isn't an indictment of Ten Hag's management I don't know what is.
And that's not even mentioning his man management ability or lack thereof and the number of falling outs he's had with players. The man comes across as a decent and honest guy, but also an uncharismatic, petty disciplinarian. 2 years in and it's gone completely off the tracks heading in the wrong direction.
Even last season they ended up with only a +15 GD. 2 years in a row they've failed to score 60 league goals. This indicates a serious systemic issue in the tactical side of the game. And this league season has been utter chaos, scumbagging undeserved wins against dross week after week, never controlling games, losing 12 times and being miles off top 4. And the CL campaign was an absolute disaster. You can talk about his cup prowess, but it's still obviously nowhere near good enough overall. That's never going to be enough to save you at a club like Utd. It's over for him now, surely. He's had enough time and money, and he's failed.

Brutal truth is that maybe ten hag isn’t cut out for this job, he’s 54 years old as well so I can’t see him adapting and changing his approaches either. Arteta got rid of ozil and aubameyang, even binned off Pepe ruthlessly. I can’t see ten hag getting rid of rashford and a couple others. Sancho criticised him publicly so he HAD to act, as did Ronaldo. That’s just common sense, it takes even more bottle to bin off players who just have to move on professionally as well. It’s a big step required for a manager to do at United and ten hag just doesn’t have it. He also lost 7-0 to Liverpool and has a terrible record against the top 6-8 sides. Honestly, we played better under solskjaer and solskjaer even beat city like 4-5 times, I would have rather stuck by him through his one bad period before he got sacked, he was the man we should have been patient for but it is what it’s and hindsight’s a beautiful thing, I’d go for Ruben Amorim, Thiago Motta or Simone Inzaghi personally in the summer
@@ArashAshleyChahardehi Yeah man. I pretty much agree with everything you said. I don't get the whole Ten Hag thing. I honestly feared him coming in as a Liverpool fan. I remembered how good his Ajax side were in 2019, and I thought he'd have you playing beautiful Cruyff-like football in no time.
In 2 whole years he's made no attempt to play possession football whatsoever. In fact, he hasn't implemented any philosophy or style of play at the club. I'm not sure whether it's because he can't or won't. If it's can't, then those Ajax coaches worked miracles. If he won't then he's a coward who lacks the courage of his convictions. So either way he's wrong for the job. Ultimately there was no point bringing him in. Utd are still predominantly the defensive, counter-attacking side they were under Mourinho 6 years ago. That's unbelievable.
Truth is Utd are in a mess. They'll need probably 6 first team players and another 6 squad players to be able to challenge for the title. 1/2 a new squad basically. Ten Hag really has bought badly, there's very little to show for 280m net or whatever it is. Then you've got the Maguire, Varane, Casemiro, Eriksen, VDB, Sancho, Greenwood, Rashford and Martial situations. Honestly it's a huge headache for whoever's the manager next season.
It's going to take Utd 2-3 years minimum to get back to the top. That's assuming they get the right manager in and every signing right, so that's a best case scenario. It'll probably be more like 3 or 4. There seems to be a lack of top class managers available, but yeah Amorim, Inzaghi, Motta, Tuchel and Flick have to be top of the list.
Mark should be more objective there or he needs to look at Wan Bissaka’s hand again compared to the Burnley player. Wan Bissaka’s arm is definitely more away from his body which is why Coventry got a penalty.
