We don't need Billionaires in this world. Here is a clue stop being materialistic and that small amount of cash you earned can go a long ways.
My partner and I have been to, Cuba several times, we're white English and have never felt threatened and in fact recommend Cuba to all our family and friends 🇨🇺
Muchisima gracias for showing the world our island. It breaks my heart the struggles mi gente are facing on the island. But we are a strong beautiful resilient people. Our culture and love shine no matter the conditions. The light of the orishas is still shinning bright there. The girl you asked about a restaurant had her elekes of Oshun on, ella santera like the people you see wearing all white with colourful necklaces. Our Afro Cuban Yoruba Nigerian religion santeria Ifa is the core of our music, our culture and the essence of our island. I love hearing the Cubaniche accent. I live in Rome and I miss the warmth of my culture. Children will touch you, its not a dis, we are touchy feely people. Viva Cuba, Bendiciones mi gente 🇨🇺🇨🇺💪🏿💪🏾💪🏽💪🏼💪🏻💋💋💋❤️❤️ropa vieja es shredded beef. By visiting there, he is only empowering the people who robbed your family’s land and made Cuban people literally starve. Do not go and give the regime a penny

You are truly appreciated and Long live the SYNERGY between the 2 great Yoruba People of Cuba and Nigeria. Long live the Tradition of the Orishas and the Afro-Yorubas living in the diaspora!! You are always welcome back home to the Motherland-Africa
I would love to come visit Cuba again...such a beautiful place!
Loved your video. I wish my wife and I were younger,we would definitely go there and enjoy the sights and sounds. We love people and from you have shown us really makes feel good. Thank you very much from Beaumont,Ca
Im Cuban but born in the US. All of my family is from Cuba and they always tell me not to visit because it’s sad to see how people live. Some areas they live without floors, just mud and when it rains the floor in their home is squishy and muddy. There’s no food and the lines are long for the food they actually can get. I just wish I could help them all out there. Life is a struggle there. 😢
I'm a 1st generation Cuban American also😀! I also still have family there.
Facts
Could they find gravel for the floors?
Don't know who told you that. But they are lying to you. Every country has it rundown areas. They always show the part wear earthquake and the hurricane hits. My family lives creat their. They don't even want to come to America. Some families are better off then some just like in America. You family might live in a area, where it constantly gets damaged by mother nature. They show the bad part f Haiti and their is actually beautiful parts in Haiti. America lies a lot.
Cuba's poverty is not very different from that of other Central and Southern American countries. And is poverty not the aim of US sanctions on it?
I've stayed in Viejo Havana for a week. Explored the many streets and alleys of Havana. Often times walking after midnight. I felt 100% safe. People are kind friendly and polite. Never any issues. I would love to go back. I felt at home. I even got to drive a Lada. No power steering.
Many of the places you called trashy were very clean. The paint may have faded on buildings, but that's not trashy, especially in that climate!
True!!!
I think the word he was looking for is 'dilapidated'.
They can’t keep up with maintenance because they are worried about the food they are going to put on the table
Exactly what I said. Those buildings are old and historic. Big difference. I was a bit offended at trashy.
It’s really ashamed that these beautiful buildings weren’t maintained. Cuba has it all, great People, great architecture, antique cars, and the beach…….lousy Government that caused this…..and the long lines for food.
Unlike America, people are actually Outside interacting with each other in Harmony. This was once a thing in the black community in the 60’s up until the 90’s. Glad to see this still exists. Salute Czech!
💯
They have nothing better to do
Yes, kids playing in the park like it used to be in the US 20 years ago. It's great to see.
@@mtulio6422 They could be in the house playing video games like US kids, gaining weight. They have one of the highest literacy rates in the world for a reason.
@@chillycharles910 They don't have videogames. They neither have enough food to gain weight.
But they have to be good at literacy, otherwise how could they read and apply the government's propaganda
I haven't been to Havana Cuba since 2010 and wow not much has changed at all. 😢 I feel for my people. One thing I learned from that visit when I went to meet my family for the 1st time was to value what I have today. I value the hot water, central ac, clothes, shoes, food, and just everything I have. My uncles keep me up to date on things, and I never hear good things except that my cousin sings at restaurants and TV shows. I want to go back soon. We went to El Cerro, which is where my family lives. The never place to eat and enjoy Cuba is El Barrio Chino. They have all types of food, not just Cuban in that area. Barrio Chino is a clean area where most tourists visit.
We,my daughter who was 12 at the time and me in my fourties’, had the time of our life in Cuba. Nicest people. And very safe
I like that you can pick up every girl in family with parents or with husband and she will have sex with you. it's normal in cuba.
Thats the message you should pass to young people around you and ask them: DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S COMMUNISM?? How on earth can these professsors from our Colleges preach "SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM" to our youth in our countries ???? Look at what happened to Cubans and all the URSS countries, Vietnam, Laos, Camboja, North Korea, Nicaragua, Venezuela..........

There are a lot of Haitian people living in Cuba.
As a Haitian American I have a soft spot in my heart for Cuba. Hopefully one day I will visit.
This is true I saw Haitian flag there

As an Afro-south American man, Cuba just appeals to my soul..I hope to visit next year.. I can almost feel Cuba's energy, the vibes of the people, the music, the culture, it talks to me in so many ways..I can't wait to get there and finally experience it for myself..

Same here bro! I’m from Haiti.. ( in NY forever) ..can’t wait to make it to Cuba! Such a strong connection with the culture!
When you get there stay worthless place
The music is SO beautiful and the people are very kind. The beaches are also pretty. It’s very Afro there.. more than outside people know
The nicest people ever! I’m Serbian, I thought we were cordial and warm but Cubans arebon another level. Very smart and wise people too, dignified.
Ok buttkiss Bolshi.
@@ImageOfGod91 Well, it’s a country in South-Eastern Europe, in the Balkans. It’s. ackuntry with a long, sometimes turbulent, history. Serbs have their own language, it is a branch of a broader Slavic language group like Russian,Polish, Chzech. What else would you like to know?
During my trip to Cuba in 2011 I noticed the poverty. But I noticed there were no homeless encampments. There were no street drugs so no cartel activity. I never felt at risk even in poorer neighborhoods. People were so nice. Beautiful nation.
All of these people living the same in the same conditions most WAY WORSE off than the average American....Yet half our population is conditioned to think America is a racist shit...hole that most other countries are much better than ours.....
No homeless encampments because they do not have the freedom to do that. They are arrested and put in prison.
Also no guns!
@@rjlovell1 Cubans have more freedoms and better democracy than the theater show in the US. They are in prison, yes, but imprisoned by the US. Why does the US economically blockade a tiny island, if Cuban system is so bad and inefficient? Why not just let them fail on their own?
It is the same reason they were afraid of Haiti where slaves freed themselves back in the 1800s. The US cooperated with France and did everything to make sure Haiti remained as poor as possible, because the example it was setting to their own slaves. The US will keep imprisoning Cuba because they know that if they end the blockade, Cuba will prosper.
I Love the fact that no matter what color you are, all are accepted. That’s what I Love about Cuban People. And I’m glad I married one from This Beautiful Island. 😊
First time watching your channel. I love these kinds of videos that show real life in foreign countries. I'm from the USA as well. Its nice that you also speak Spanish so you can get better content for your viewers. Great video! Thanks!
Thanks fam I appreciate you
It's good to see real people making an honest living
What I like about the streets is, they are very tidy and clean.
I just spent the last 7 days in Cuba, I stayed in La Habana....Cubans are the best, at least the ones I encountered. We might have passed each other in the streets Czech! Keep up the good work!!
First time I went to Cuba I was 19, we took a couple day trips to Havana otherwise we were 8hrs outside of Havana. We met some people our age and were invited to their home for dinner where we also met his sister, mother and grandmother.
It was a very humbling experience. Last time I went back was 2012 that time my gf and I rented a scooter and did a lot more exploring.

Bro - thank you so much for taking us along. I have always wanted to see Cuba from on the ground perspective. Man, what a treat!
Cuba is a safe place, some of the nicest people there too, the old cars are amazing, what a vacation!
I would feel much safer there then NY. City. And thats being pefectly honest. And probaly would be.
The big problem with the cars is parts were always a problem so nothing is ever original they find a way and solve it . works for them but all looks not a good investment in most all of these cases. Just saying. I had a friend who went specifically to look for cars this was the major problem he faced. But there still cool to see. He was amazed at some of the inovations they used to keep these oldies alive.
My wife and I was there and the Cuban people are very friendly.. and they remind the time family was family, no cells
How long ago was this ?
@@Czechineffect Hey Czech, have you noticed the large majority of Cubans do not owned cell phones in the communities I see are in? Instead of texting they are socializing and interacting with one another. Children on bikes, playing and enjoying themselves that’s normal to them. What we as Americans failed to see the unity and perseverance, the willingness to share and care. Adults walking together talking to one another instead of texting. Americans are becoming desensitized. So what meant was the Cuban people was my reminder when Americans was what was…..in the so call Ghetto areas did you clean clothing, sneakers etc……without a washing machine. Thanks
Hello Checo!
Great video!

I've lived in and visited in several impoverished countries in my life. The trash and economic problems you speak of can be found in all countries on this planet. That said, I enjoyed the cultural differences that you shared with your audience. It is my wish that every financially secure person on this planet would be exposed not just to the tourist areas but also to the poor areas of the countries they visit. Some of the most wonderful people in the world can be found there. Thank you, again, for posting this video.
But people made them so right
J
So many years after the Revolution things don’t seem to be cotrect
Correct ?
Still I would love to visit
Cuba is absolutely beautiful. I’ve been a few times now. Moments I will never forget. I heard you say the streets are “trashy”, and it made me sad. I was in awe at the history, and the people. You are just as safe here as you are in your own neighborhood.
Sadly, person filming is the trashy one going to Cuba clearly ignorant of the struggles these folks have and how difficult life is for them thanks to his county and corrupt government. Then having audacity to call these historic streets “trashy” which is so rude and disrespectful as he profits off these videos exploiting these people in their own county.
@@SR-fd7dj Where are you from?
Safer than in some places in the US. Never felt in danger in Cuba and it is a lot cleaner than some some parts of US cities. The video itself attests to the exaggeration of "trashy". Took a taxi from Havana to Santiago de Cuba. No problem. If you go to Havana, visit Regla. Old Havana is special. Go with an open mind. Havana is safe and the rest of Cuba is just beautiful.
America is not that safe, especially in the hood. lol
@SR-fd7dj Yes! And he didn't even offer food to the bike driver. He is the trashy, low level one I agree
I love your video adventure! I feel as though i was walking myself through the streets with you. Amazing colors of the buildings. And those old 40's 50's cars are to die for! Great video! Keep up the adventures!
I’ve always been drawn to Cuba since a little girl. I started to listen to their music and fell in love. I even bought myself a Cuban cook book. My only thing is I haven’t put in the time to learn the language and I’m so impressed on how fluent you speak to the people. I admire to be like that one day
I know on which you speak. I have always listened to Jazz music. I have like 3 to 4 thousand CD’s in my collection. I have along with my Jazz Merengue Salsa Brasilian, that would consist of Bossa Nova’s and Samba’s. And Afro Cuban. I don’t speak Portuguese nor Spanish. I’m just a lover of my music. I used to live in NYC. I live in Indiana now.

Jesus Christ wants a personal relationship with you through the Holy Spirit, not religion and blind faith. You see, we all have sinned, and have broken God’s law (The Ten Commandments). Wrong doing deserves justice and must be punished (just like how a criminal has to pay for the crime they have committed) but God saved us from the eternal punishment of our sins by sending His Son Jesus Christ, fullness of God in flesh, a perfect, sinless sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross and resurrecting, so that we may have everlasting life. It is all finished and now for you to accept the free gift of grace, you must repent of your sins and put your faith in Jesus Christ and Bible says that His Blood will cover all of your sins, you will be forgiven, saved from eternal punishment, and be given everlasting life. By faith you will receive the Holy Spirit, become born again, know Jesus personally and He will transform your heart and clean you from the inside out. Turn away from sin, read the Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you and change you, obey the Word. Much love and God bless you!
Returned from Cuba about three weeks ago and you are right, that is the real Cuba. Some of the streets in Havana remind me of the streets of New York and Brooklyn back in the day. Found out that some of the crimes that may be committed in Cuba could easily bring a minimum of 25 years. in prison! Photography is one of my loves and you are correct that you must be careful where and how you shoot. Love your video Bro and my wife and I will be going back. It's unfortunate how some of the commodities we take for granted are hard to come by in Cuba such as toilet paper, and medical supplies.
I love Cuba been once & the people have nothing to complain about. Very nice pple.
The streets are so clean. They may be old and beat up, but there is an elegant grace. Makes me want to visit. I love the large wood doors.
I was in Cuba in January, felt safer there than I do in Philadelphia where I live.

Flirting is extremely normal in Cuba, both for men and women its just a thing they all do. Mi amor is a common thing people say out there to adults and kids. There's truly no harm. Everyone is usually very nice and helpful. When my sisters and I went, we met a lot of people and had a good time. We went to a nightclub and noticed the music was so far behind with our times that was interesting. We knew every song 😆
I never saw Cuba like this.Up close and personal; rubbing elbows with the natives. It’s clear to see these are good people. “Visit Cuba and spend some money”. Thank you brother for this eye-opening cultural experience. Wow …
Yo, this is so dope. Never seen a video where traveling felt so real, like I was there myself. Appreciate the authenticity of your commentary. I definitely gotta get to Cuba now!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Visiting there is a double edge sword, because they know you’re coming from a country that has money, and they have none. You come and look at their lives in poverty - and you leave - and go back to your fat American life. I’m not criticizing, because I’ve been to places like this, and always have mixed feelings. A friend of mine from Uruguay, who lived in Miami for a couple years, said you should appreciate that just living in America with citizenship, makes you privileged and your possibilities, compared to these people, is limitless.
Of all the videos that I see of Cuba, I never see police! This shows how disciplined the people are that they police themselves and don't need for anyone to so for them. That says a lot about that country bro. I love those people so much!

I visited Cuba in 2017 and it was definitely an experience. I saw some of the poorest places yet some of the nicest people. The food was really good but as you mentioned there were flies everywhere. I have never seen so many flies in my life. When I went back to the states, I had a stomachache for three weeks which I'm certain was due to the flies covering the food. The food wasn't expensive and we had avocados with every meal. I even picked avocados right off the trees, we had a horse and carriage ride which took us on a sight seeing tour. We saw those old time cars and had a great time. The are you visited looks very familiar to me. We even went to the place where Fidel Castro was laid to rest. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Amerikkka that beautiful island is like that . Since Cuba refused to be controlled .
I believe the water made your stomach hurt, you have to make sure you get bottled water.
These peoples are 1 of gods chosen tribes of the 12 tribes of Israel/Jacob that were scattered on the islands and throughout the 4 corners of the earth due to their foreparents disobedience. They lost their identity, culture, etc by the other nations as its written in the book of Psalms Chapter 83. All of the curses they are under are written in the book of Deuteronomy Chapter 28. God is waking up his people again little by little in these end times and will gather them again as the bible says 🙏🏾

That's because the people there aren't allowed to own phones and cars. They probably have no electricity in their homes to charge the phones anyway. These "tourist" handclaps and cheers about Cuba makes me laugh because you are only allowed to visit their best areas. The rest of the island would horrify you and boggle your mind
@@pollypurree1834They can’t have phones?
@@DBrown-vg1fi Nope because their homes don't have any electricity. They can't charge them. No communist country have homes that have electricity. They use kerosene lamps for light. When I was a tourist in the former Soviet Union in 1991, not a single home had electricity and nobody owned a car. By banning electrified homes, people cannot communicate with one another to set up an overthrow of the government. Without cars, people cannot get together in large groups to stage an overthrow. The government wants you to be as helpless as possible.

Great post. Since I went about 7 years ago, look like the living and community situation as declined. Even then I left almost everything to the local, who where very thankful. I even left me suitcase!! and just returned to London with a almost empty backpack.
For real this guy is so calm and collective. Knowing how to blend in and making sure he’s doing well.. that’s legitimately cool.. Stay healthy brother.
you call that blending in? hahahah
When I was working in the Bahamas I went to Cuba and had a blast. Beautiful people and culture...love the old cars and architecture! I felt much safer there than Dominican Republic where I lived a few years.
Just think you could start a paint store there 😇
Did you enjoy their freedom and contitutional rights?
I thought Cuba was Safe?
Cuba is the best. Dont pay attemption to the negative propagand coming out of Miami. Cuba is the best, better than the Bronx in NY and Liberty City in Florida, or many cities of the Unites States !
@@ciprianocornelio1624 Are you serious? The best in what, in misery? I'm cuban, I know Cuba is not the best. Have you gone to the dirty hospitals, without medicaments and medical material? Or have you depended on a food suply book, with everytime, less food? CUba is good for its beaches, music, culture, yes those things are good, but the life is very difficult because we don't have the essentials and live doing lines the whole day, just to buy chicken or oil, and if you find these food, you're lucky.
By the other hand, Cubans cannot protest against the regime. A regime that is in the hands of a family that has its businesses and collects money from tourism, cigars, and business abroad but does not invest it in the population.
You saw some dirt pails rocks pails, but not much debris in the streets, that' says a lot...very clean people. Very conscious and respectful of their community.... Thanks for sharing this video.
Czech tblessed and wonderful we have it in America!. Thanks for your "behind the scenes" video of Cuba and what its like for the people. As a military veteran I have traveled overseas to different countries. Many of our fellow Americans don't realize how just how blessed we are to live in a country that has so much ! By the way I'd like to complement you on how gentle and discreet you communicated and talked with the people there. Keep up the good work. Ken
Hi Czech in effect I have been to Cuba at least 30 times and would spend a month at a time when I was there you should go to Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo and Trinidad I have been to those cities and really enjoyed seeing the different places in Cuba. Check out the rest of Cuba it is a Beautiful country love your videos watching from New Brunswick Canada.🙂
I have been to Trinidad those video's dropping soon-i do want to go to Santiago and Guantanamo bay
what do you recommend seeing in guantanamo? what parts or barrios, parks, or buildings?
Man I loved watching this video. Loved seeing the simple living, community interaction, and beautiful women everywhere. Great camera work! Just subscribed
You are really brave brother, because you were actually walking in a dangerous area, I am from Cuba and I can tell you that for a tourist (or foreigner) to be with a phone, walking alone in that area, you need to have some balls... It is true, it is safe to take a walk, they wont kill you or anything like that... but, even though there is little crime, the ones that commit the crimes are always the criminals that are no longer afraid to go back to prison...
I really enjoy the video Czech!!,, 😍👍👊👊
Thanks 🤘🏽
I love the walk, and seeing the people and the landscape, all while I sit comfortable eating a sandwich and saying to my self, "Wow! Will you look at that!"
I Stein Cuba for 4yrs never felt or experienced any crime at all to me 100% safe❤
Are u from Czechoslovakia?! Me too! My first video, but I LOVE Czech food! Hope you’ve done videos, I subscribed and will def Czeck out your videos 😂
Great video! Thanks so much for this walking and pedi cab tour. No street food vendors with mangos?
I was in Cuba in January and the kindness of the people was beautiful. They are poor but happy.. what surprised me was the number of flights that came I'm from Miami.. the resorts are aren't all open yet after covid but most of the visitors are from Canada..
I love your videos! Great information. I will never see in person Cuba, so I love that you bring this to us! The people are beautiful!
Thanks for watching
Food did look good! I wanted some ❤
Great job. Showing parts of Cuba not usually seen
Great video always wondered how this place was and you did an awesome job with the video. Looks like a place you may want to be walking around at night time unless your hanging with the locals.
Damm Czech playing with Emillo's emotions all video, got him stressing if he getting paid or not hahahaa 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣
Thank you very much Czech for sharing this. It's eye opening to most of us Americans.
Beautiful my brother. My grandfather went to cuba from jamaica. I really liked this. Thanks.
For a minute I thought You were in a City in the US but then I realized that people looked happy friendly and were smiling a lot.
Love from Denmark 🇩🇰 Great video by the way. 😊
Bro, don't you worry about yourself or your property while you are in Cuba. The country is the safest place on this earth. I have been there many times and I know what I am talking about. Just unburden yourself from all the negativity/western propaganda about Cuba. It is a beautiful country and Cubans are the most beautiful people on this earth. Yes, they don't have those material things we in the west consider to be symbols of status, yet they are happy. Are we happy in the west with all we have got?
I agree
Believe me, everybody in Cuba would LOVE to have those material things. Most cubans would tell you they have enough to survive, but not enough to live. It's a very safe place for tourists because there's a policeman in almost every corner, and tourists is one of the most important thing for their economy.
@@timbero2006 That is correct. Unfortunately the corporate USA & its allies are punishing innocent Cubans in order to punish the government. I think we are entering a period where this corporate power is crumbling and as a new multipolar world emerges. It is just a matter of time. I am sure the resilient Cubans will prevail soon.
@@timbero2006 - true. Crimes against each other DO occur. Same with tourists like pick pockets. I have lost several pair of sunglasses there. They tag team you!! It’s something that is generally never followed up by the victim. They won’t steal a Gucci purse or Rolex, but a Timex?? No problem!! Haha. It’s the way it is. I went back t9 the stands I was near when I lost my sunglasses and they already had tags on them and were on the vending table!! 😂😂. I bought the pair of Serengetis back for about $8 USD because I had paid closer to $200 US for them by the time I had prescription lenses added. That was a good deal in itself! They knew I was aware so had dropped the price from $50.00. I’m not gonna turn them in. Had they asked I would have just given them more than $10, but they stole from me. The $$ they make off of the snatched items doesn’t have to be reported to the Government as revenue.
I bet they were touching your stomache looking for a money belt. A lot of the stores are not always stores but government supply stores as the people get food allotments from the Government. The store like the poster did find have popped up a lot since I used to go there.
We ate in a “restaurant” our illegal Cabbie took us to. It was really fantastic and they insisted we ate until we were absolutely full. We were likely in their courtyard, which was in a rough looking area, but the courtyard may as well have been at the resort. The meal was very inexpensive, but we left a big tip. Since the first time we have gone back to Havana 11 more times and ate there every time. We would call ahead and they took great care of us every time. We generate we’re able to get the same Cabbie as well. He had us over to his home and everything. It turned into a big party with the other tenants in the building!! We got home at sunrise!! One of the most memorable times we had in any part of the world including home!! Even the kids were up until 2 or 3 am!! 😂😂😂.
The people can be amazing, but you have to exercise common sense as well. I was in law enforcement back then and am retired now. I have something going on with my pancreas now so travel is much more difficult. That’s life!! 😊😊.
Thanks for sharing. Be careful, but if you are going to go frequently, it’s great if you can make some trustworthy contacts. Or at least contact that YOU can trust. Like you said, it’s a constant hustle!!
Some of the girls and guys on the street are looking pretty fashionable!
Love the Vintage Cars and hopefully seeing more of Cuba and where the Cigars are made as well as the beaches.
Go Bro and Stay Safe and Enjoy.
❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎💔❤️🔥❤️🩹❣️💕💞💓💗💖💘💝 to all the Cuban People.
beautiful people they seem to like socialising alot and they are very content with their simple life , vintage cars great
I love how you see no one on their cellphone. So I know you are standing out my guy. 😂
That’s a fact
Happy to hear the new developments in Cuba. I visited the country in 2009, and they were on that double system of their currencies. make sense currently it was a bit confusing.
All these American fifties' cars around me, it felt like an old Hollywood movie, did you experience that?
3:18 "we have 2 restaurants that i can take you to .. " 😉
why did you declined that offer?? I would have instantly taken that offer 🥰
You are a bold dude! Thank God for your charm, intelligence, curiosity, and ability to speak their language/culture--in all of your pieces.
Beautiful women and delicious food can’t go wrong👍🏾💪🏾🔥
