Hi Steven. Great sofa chat😊. Your very correct re your health issues. My heart goes out to you. Crohn’s can be horrible. I should know suffered it for 49 years. I have never come across any 2 people suffer it, in the same way.
With my arthritis in my hip, pancreatitis. Got good and bad days. Think am allergic to the winter now….i just get severe shivers, and very cold feet.
Wish this rain, would bugger off.
Looking forward to getting Bumble back, and feeling the torque from the cam😊

Thanks for your kind words and encouragement. This illustrates exactly what I meant about talking with people about these serious men’s health issues. There is always someone who can help, especially if they have experience and knowledge to share. Also of course you learn that you are not alone. I second that motion on rain! Bloody wet stuff is falling here again. Bumble will be transformed when it comes home! You are going to love it even more!
Steven, I'm serious here: If you can swing your leg over it, and lift the sidestand with your other foot, all you need to worry about is your left hand controlling the clutch. You can ride, my friend - leave any other misery behind. Please do whatever you have to do to affirm your life and your place in the universe. Thank you for the video.

Hello Steven. New Subscriber here - Alabama is home for me so chalk up another from the states! Hate to meet you in poor health. As a good friend likes to remind me, “getting old ain’t for sissies”. He and I are in our seventh decade so we have lots to discuss (and cuss). 😂
I have three scooters in my mix at present. They are a great and comfortable alternative to the bikes in addition to being quite useful. And the Forza is a good one.
I like your sign-off; “be kind to others”. That is worth repeating and never gets old.

Thank you for your words of support! Yes, you’re right about the Forza, I had my last one for about 8 years and never had any problems with it, which is quite a thing for any bike. You are correct in saying that getting old ain’t for sissies. It’s great to get more subscribers in the good old US of A, especially as I was raised in Lowell, Massachusetts until I was 10. One of my sons still lives in Pennsylvania and I have relatives in Canada too.

Hi Steven, it's good to see you keeping your spirits up, I hope you get sorted out soon. The Honda looks ideal if you're struggling to get on and off a bike, at the end of the day getting out and about on two wheels is the most important thing. Well I should have some answers on Saturday, in the meantime, I’ve had some lovely messages from people, which has helped no end. Hopefully though, my main message about talking with people about health issues, and most importantly, get things looked at by doctors before it’s too late, gets across.

Good morning Steven, and good to see you back on here, although it's a bit of a double-edged sword, given your health problems. Hopefully the Docs will have some answers for you soon, and you'll be back in action. Time to get one or two of those models built maybe? Thanks for your kind words Martin, it’s been a bit of a struggle lately, and frustrating waiting to get riding. What do you think about me getting another Honda Forza maxi scooter as an “easy ride” back up bike? As you probably know they are very popular on the continent because of the ease and practicality of use. I found my original Forza to be very good, even, dare I say it, on the motorway! The 2015 model I had originally didn’t have a huge number of electrical gadgets, nor the dreaded euro4 junk. Also, I’m very surprised that Mrs Thunderbolt is getting on camera! She’s never really been fond of being in front of the camera, but does like photography in general and has some nice stills cameras of her own.
To be honest Steven, I think another scooter would make sense for you, in fact I'm thinking of taking a scooter of some type for a test ride, so watch this space! 😊
As a matter of interest, just to demonstrate what can be done with a scooter, have a squint at An Idiot on Board's latest offering on his Suzuki Burgman (or as he calls it, his Burgervan!) .... he's a bit different!! All the best anyway. 👍

Steven I have Diverticulitis flare ups! often debilitating and occasionally 10/10 painful, I feel for you buddy my age doesn't help me either bringing more baggage, but being a rhinoceros takes care of that, do you still have your original cam Steven? I'd like to get hold of one at some point, I'd also relish a chin wag with you one day around Yarmouth. Keep yoo agoin buh.
