- I bought a new (to me) truck and it has hard starts, check engine light, and the slip light is on. In this video I repair this condition and show you the process.

My 2010 Frontier has the exact same issue, cranks long before starting, code P0335, check engine light and slip light on. Going to replace the crankshaft sensor this weekend. Great video. Thanks!
Thanks for the tip brother. Drove my pathfinder over a bump today and the engine dies, I let it roll to the shoulder. Try to restart, truck hesitate for a bit and luckily it started. Iwas able to get home. Check the code, got P0355 and now your video just showed me how to replace the shaft sensor.
Just replaced my crank shaft sensor and it was easy and the part only cost $44.00 at Auto Zone. 2013 Nissan Frontier with 97,300 miles
you the real deal DIY guys ,i luv it,keep the videos coming bro👍👍👍
Lord of Junk, you are awesome! Thank you, sir!
Thank you! Just fixed mine today!
Great video, I have same issue 2017 frontier. Will attempt today. Tks amigo.
Thanks man it was helpful 👍🏼
alot of people put an external trans cooler on the nissans and bypass the radiator one.
nissan is a decent truck, i've got one and had another but i always got to drive my toyota to go get parts to fix the nissan. like ur channel
Awesome video brother good job thank you
I just got a 2006 too for $2500 been solid
Looking forward to future projects on the new build!
Thank you for sharing👍👍👍i have changed this sensor three times already, do you know what is causing this problem? Thank you
My truck did the same thing I got a new one
My "new" grocery getter is a 2000 Sentra! Same ODB sensor tool. Lil monkey paws come in handy to get at things on these Nissan!
VQ motor is a rock-solid powerplant, and the 5spAuto is solid. If the radiator is the "post-recall" model you're good to go. If its still the original rad, replace it to be sure the radiator-trans cooler doesn't leak and kill your trans. Very common on 05-10 MY trucks.
yes sir. I definitely want to avoid the strawberry milkshake of death. I'm going to bypass the cooler in the radiator soon just as precaution. eventually the plan is to vk swap it.
I had to replace my radiator in 2020 due to that problem. Good to know its a typical issue. Thanks

Throttle sensor was suspect. New throttle body with sensor installed. same make and model. Wont program. Any ideas?
