never knew nowt about the david bowie connection either,shame on me !!! i love my music it takes me on a journey and is very thereputical to me as i have got mental health problems.you never know where it will take you,it has also got me into some real good artists who otherwise i would have passed over in this short but sweet life,on times !! patti smith,neil young,velvet underground.i grew up listening to the beatles,my first album was REM out of time,second,dire straights,brothers in arms,u2 the joshua tree and then RANK by THE SMITHS.LOVE THE SMITHS/MORRISSEY got limited edition prints on my living room wall of THE SMITHS.THE DOORS are also high up on the list,got a tattoo of jim on my shoulder.thats enough,back to my music therapy !!!
killing an arab,the forest,boys dont cry,lullaby,dintigration,their real early stuff and the odd one that hit the charts as igot into the rave sceen and lost interest in real music,i,m 46 now and catching up.got to be their best song by a long way,the guitaring is just amazing !!!!

Yeah the police totally destroyed the free party scene. People getting there sound systems removed and disposed of would put most people off. Pay parties and clubs just not the same. I'll let you know what i think of the mixes. Thanks.x
