@@Chief_Brody Agree with your point 100%- however... I think the poorly phrased point of the OP is that several off Head on the Door got alt. radio airplay back then but Push didn't. Casual Cure semi-fans (didn't buy albums) don't really know Push. It's criminal that the unlistenable drivel that is Love Cats is very well known relative to this catchy sonic masterpiece.
I don't know where I heard Push first, but it wasn't standard FM radio.

Yeah, I remember seeing them during the Wish tour and we loved how Simon & Pearl Thompson were so animated around Robert Smith who barely moved at all through the entire show (except for "Why Can't I be You" when he literally became someone else and was all over the stage). It worked really well, especially in a song like Cut, where the two guitarists seem to represent this rage that was bottled inside of a frozen Smith as he was vocalized it.

I was at Glastonbury that year. Amazing end to the festival. Also simpler times when it was just as easy to get tickets as it was to sneak in.

I've attended five the cure concerts in my life. Madrid, June 1989, Madrid, 1992, Madrid, June 1995, Barcelona 2008, London July 2018. It was kind of like a circle coming together, as they opened with Plainsong again, after 29 years

this particular song, PUSH nearly engulfed me for years from the Head on the door album. this live performance is also absolutely fantastic. its long intro...is by no means boring..it excites someone's soul further to wait in patience.

Just subscribed to your channel, lots of stuff to look at and enjoy. As for The Cure... i've always been a bit unsure of which one could be my number one favourite: Depeche Mode or The Cure? I made peace with myself and decided that one without the other can't exist. I've seen them both performing live, listened to their music since i was 15-16 and i am 50 now...

I've seen the Cure 3 times over 30 years - each time a different country and a different phase in my life - each time they have been outstanding live & I've come away amazed at how great they are as performers. A must see experience if you can ever manage it. Be ready for a full 3 hour show - amazing.
