I went to see The Crow in 1994 just to hear this song. I never thought they would play it live, then in 2013 they played it Live for the first time in New Orleans. I was lucky to see them play it on their 2016 tour of the US. Such a great song, and a great movie. What's interesting about the song is Robert was a fan of the comic book, The Crow, so when he was asked to do a song for the movie he wrote the song specifically for the movie. None of the other songs in the movie were specifically written for it. The soundtrack is killer nonetheless.

Only thing I would say is Jason sound changed when he changed manufacturer. I cannot believe that they improved on the incredible studio version of this song. Good God, what an amazing band.

Could be in part because Robert played all the instruments on the studio version (except drums) - so having the full band gives a bit more dynamics to the performances.

Still I prefer the studio version. It was composed by Robert and Boris.

Black Sunshine they’ve been playing Burn for the past few years now; Voodoo Festival in the US was it’s first appearance. I remember Robert Smith saying they’d never play it out of respect for Brandon Lee; I’m guessing though ‘It can’t rain all the time’.

It was a truly exceptional performance on a warm , windy English summer evening. I had the good fortune of being there on that lovely Sunday evening watching the best in the business deliver a knock-out set. After that , there was a killer set by DJ tennis just around the corner.
If you get the chance, by hook or by crook, get tickets for next year’s festival. It blew me away...

The Cure, Glastonbury 1995, my friend and I bounced our way to the front of the crowd. We entered another dimension. This performance, 24 years later, is just as amazing. So lovely to see people of all ages in the crowd, enjoying this timeless magic.
