Today I try to beat Baldur's Gate 3 while every enemy has a +99 to attack rolls.

“Baldur’s Gate 3 with 0 AC” as he creates the most ungodly defensive build the world has ever seen
If you can't block damage by act 1.5 (Creche + Underdark), you will die in one turn of combat (Maybe 2nd turn for Barbs). The only other way is through extremely smart barrelmancy, the 700th throwing build, or the 3,000th video of abusing the AI.
The build is unique and kind of a "screw you" to the challenge. I like it.

@@point-five-oh6249 yeah, definitely the most interesting approach he could've taken. could've easily just played the whole game as a berserker barb/thief rogue multiclass with the throwing pike/ring of flinging/tavern brawler/gloves of uninhibited kushigo and breezed through the game considering the insane amount of damage throwing builds push out, but it's respectable that he didn't and makes for a much more interesting challenge. it's also really neat that the build directly ties into the challenge's limitation.
Wyll constantly dying at higher difficulties after his grant entrance will never not be funny to me
The build where you get enemies to kill themselves via reaction damage makes me think Ymfah is about to use that for a pacifist run in the future.

Well he actually didn't beat honor mode but deff can with this build
IDK if someone else has said this but when fighting the hag the first time, if you don't kill the cultists in the previous room, she will summon them instead of the first set of clones in the fight. This is good because if you kill all but one of the cultists the hag will be summoning 3 dead bodies and a cultist.
I like the way you point out that Great Weapon Master lets you use a bonus action to attack when you get a kill ot crit, even though you already have that ability from being a Berserker
True but berserker ability also reduces the attack roll by 1 each time its used to its better to use the GWM ability instead
11:30 You don't have to turn your whole PC off, just hit "end task" on BG3 in task manager.
I actually tried this in my own honor mode run, and I can confirm that it does *not* work. I tried to force close it as well by pressing the button multiple times, but it was still able to save. The safer method is to manually make a backup of any save you want by going into the save files at "\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story" which I have confirmed works.
I am ashamed to admit I used this a couple of times when I should have lost my honour run. It's pretty scary though because it starts to save, I feel like maybe if your pc is idk fast enough? Slow enough? It might save in time

You can steal the runepowder barrel before engaging in dialogue with philomeen by sneaking up and jumping over the thing she's standing on. You can also pickpocket the vial from her before doing this, as taking the barrel starts dialogue (and also no convincing needed because there's nothing for her to try and blow you up with)
You can also activate both the lever and the lava valve in the forge with ranged attacks.. which incidentally also means you could just activate the boss from the ledge above and chuck returning pikes at him until he is obliterated
Better be an Eldritch Knight and biind a blunt throwing weapon to yourself, as he is weak to that.

If you want to make the ground floor fight in Moonrise easier, just start taking care of the enemies in the tower before you release Nightsong. That way Jaheira might actually survive. I would recommend to clear the prison (+ the tunnel you use to escape from cell) before doing this, since if you are fighting solo the enemies won't kill you and instead will just drag you to prison. Then you can just escape, go grab your stuff back and go back to work.

In the underdark, you can actually shoot the petrified drow at the selune outpost, you won't be spotted and it makes the fight so much easier
You can avoid lockpicking the Shipment chest by going to the room where Gut brands you. Climb onto the rafters and drop the chest down twice or so for ~24 damage each throw.
Its insane how much you have grown. I used to watch you when you had like 3000 subscribers. and in 3 months you've increased that number times 10.

Just for the record, all you have to do is alt tab out of the game, open task manager, and force quit the game. It won't save, or ruin your run, and it'll save things like your footage.
you should of tried to save will and have him get those sick robes he gets for killing karlac. they give fire shield to you and spell that can be used while raging and since u get getting hit all the time they would be very useful

Hey, I've got an idea for you.
You can play BG3 as Sonic the Hedgehog.
First: Take Wood elf for additional movement speed.
For your class: Monk (step of the wind for additional movement speed or disengage (preferably disengage, I say why in a sec), and maybe thief for additional bonus action.
For equipment you will need: Hamarhraft (main source of damage), boots that will give you lightning charge when dashing, bow of lightning, ring for additional 3m, ring that will boost thunder damage and the gloves of Belligerent Skies.
Also you will need to get branding of the Absolute and dashing several times before battle (that will stack your dashes, for instance my monk at level 4 could run for 108 meters straight on turn one). Then change boots for Boots of speed, because they stack with dashes. And you will have 216 meters, but by the end of the playthrough (by the act 3) maximum speed is 360 meters. I can tell all details about that build, if you want. I tried that out and it was so stupid and fun, imagining that in one round my wood elf kills every enemy in one turn by simply jumping around them.
Oh and also haste helmet with bow of lightning

I would actually like to see how you did some of these fights in their entirety. Cause I simply can't understand how you survive some fights where there are several enemies that shoot on round 1............
With the bulette in the underdark when it gets stuck just turn off turn base, it just goes into turn based too soon hence you get stuck, it will just go straight back into turn base once battle starts anyway

I'll be honest I completely forgot this was a 0 AC run just because of the broken build.
you can kill grim by throwing things from up on the ledge if you put the things into the crucible and fire an arrow at the lever (or summon mage hand)
You can place a whole trader inventory into 1 bag then you can loot that
Honestly, the awakened debuff until it’s toggleable.
you can range attack the valve to put the lava out during the Grym fight.

Tried this but then I got stuck with the whole party downed in the goblin camp. They wouldn’t actually kill anybody, just kept up an endless loop.
To peeforme better in those checks in act two you could also get the buffs from the subsolo, no?
12:00 I love how the ai will sometimes just give up. Same thing happens if they can't find you after a while (from sneak). The ai just gives up. Sometimes the ai will take the dash action on each of its turns, but it wont move. It's hilarious.
I encountered it during my balanced run. When defending the Guild from the Zhent takeover, literally every mfkr stopped taking actions from round 2 onwards. Since my whole party rolled near the head of the initiative queue, I had to wait for somewhere around 20 timed-out-turns every round before I could do anything. No idea what caused it because I wasn't running much damage negation.

Yo mate, you can use all levers and valves by shooting at them. So you wouldn't have had to fly to the valve all the time, you could've just positioned yourself on the mould chamber and shoot at the lever and valve.

Mods, most likely.
Definitely mods. You can't get 0 AC ordinarily plus he wanted to equip armor and shield etc.. The only real way to make it so they never miss is to have mods do this.

When you level up there’s a + in the top right corner of the window that shows up showing your class level. Click that + and you’ll be able to multi class!

You know, that invis ring is super useful for stealing the runepowder barrel.
1.) Cast invis
2.) Pre-dash: click boots + dash outside of turn-based
3.) Enter turn-based while dash active, then click boots + dash
4.) Use insane movement speed to get to the runepowder barrel without triggering cutscene (still invis)
5.) Drag and drop runepowder barrel into inventory.
I always save the gnomes because I didn't know beldron and lakrissa were apart of the rainbow brigade. (they are queer.)

Haven’t watched the video yet, but that doesn’t sound that difficult, just surprise round everything and burst damage them down before they can do any serious damage to you, in theory only specific fights should pose any real threat.

I know this is a very small nitpick, but you can't really say you beat the whole game solo if you grabbed the everburn blade. While getting Lazel was mandatory and easily remedied, getting shadowheart is optional. Even if it was just to get the sword and then dump her, by technicalities its not a true solo run and more of beatting the majority solo. Like I said, very small nitpick in a run where you can whatever challages you want for yourself.
you could nitpick about the astarion part as well. but it doesn't really matter
