I have a ring made with granulation techniques from Korea and I've always wondered how they made it so intricate. Thanks for letting me know! I love it.
What an incredible art. Thank you for sharing. Subscribed.
I've know about granulation as a decorating technique for many years, yet I have never actually seen the process behind its application. One could almost believe that by using this information and demonstration as a basis for self teaching one could hope to learn to master what I assume is a laborious and frustrating process to create new works of art and decoration. In modernity, I am aware that the Jewellery House of Cartier has used the technique for the decoration of one of the dials of its panther watches, examples of which can be found using a google search. This is intensely interesting, and I look forward to more educational videos of historical jewelry techiniques!
Great demo and awesome closeups! Well done!
What is the glue solution she is using?

Probably gum Arabic. I have heard of fish scale glue and ground malachite being used.

Pure gold does not tarnish.
