  • In part 4 all the hard work leading up to the event pays off and the S13 hits the World Time Attack track, but the good times don't last after the alternator pulley ejects itself from the dry sumped ITB SR20DE. Make sure you visit the blog for the full story at engineeredtoslide.com/2022/04...

    Would love to drive a car like this one day, seems to be soo much fun to whip this around the track, even though it does not have quadrillion HP. It just look really planted and well balanced!
    Always enjoyed your content on Instagram, been following along for many years, and I really enjoy the content format you've pushing on CZcams lately.

    Great to see this thing ripping in person finally, seeing it unfinished in pictures years ago convinced me to chuck in a autech SR with ITBs and even that very basic setup taught me heaps about driving. That box will have an easy life, but a fun one 😅

    Been following this gentleman well before I saw him in video form. That built to slide article(s) he produced back a bit ago was a read I went back too often looking for updates, when I hear Hilux, I think that build. Great job on the Nissan she’s a beaut. 🤘🔥😎🔥🤘

    Noticed the editing when you cut to the interior shot with the commentator still talking then faded it off, very professional. Keep it up man you’ll go far

    I never know...150hp would be this fun...

      That’s the plan, I’m on a very limited budget so everything is a slow build but it’s getting there. Thanks for the comment.

    Good to see you more on CZcams! Did they put you in the open class because of the fabricated subframes?
    Either way, car looks good sir 😎

      @Engineeredtoslide  Před 2 lety

      I’m working on it right now, I’ll put them along with rods and go straight back to the dyno with the limit set to 8.5k, it really had nothing over 7k

    You have interesting and nice project. How much your s13 weight and why carbon velocitystacks. I personally think those aluminium stacks were better. Have any porting or polishing done your cylinderhead and have you try diffrent camshaft timing

    Love this car. Seems very well sorted. Loving the 240z/260z I have always loved the idea of an ITB rb25 in an s13. This is pretty damn close.

      I have nothing to compare it with other than drift cars so I’ll say it’s as close to perfect as I’ll ever get, for now anyway.

      Was out of necessity, unless I raised it 50mm, still running stock fenders and didn’t have time to roll them properly.
