I stayed away from Sundown due to their pricing but... These are actually priced very competitively.
More expensive then taramps but better quality for about 100 to 200 difference.

quick question if you don't mind so I just purchased the 1500 d and a pair of 10s to match. I have my loc gains all the way bass nob all the way up to tune amp gains but when I turn the amp gains up less than qtr way I get the clipping light. any recommendations?

I don't know that 189.99 for an amp that almost makes 1500w at 1 ohm is expensive...seems like a good deal to me, I remember a time when it was a buck a watt or more depending on name brand.

SFB 2000D can run a single u12 with ease? No clipping or burning up?

I have a sundown e series d4 and a sfb1000 and I keep clipping when gain is turned up over 1/2. I have stock alt, have not done big 3 yet. Will low voltage cause clipping?

I went to order around $2,500 worth of sundown from D4S and I was very discouraged by the lady that answered the phone. I had a few technical questions before placing my order online since I am some what new to the hobby and she would not let me speak to anyone. She asked what was my question, I explained, and she was not able to help me and could really care less if I spent my money there or not. After about 10 min of back and forth I guess she realized my technical question was legit and she finally put me through, they were so busy that the tech really did not have the time to help me build the system so I just gave up. I really like the youtube channel and was really hoping for better customer service and concern.

How does Sundown Audio amplifiers compare to Mosconi, in terms of SQ? Mosconi has lots of power, but I'm sure Sundown Audio has more, I just wonder with SQ, (slew rate, damping factor, etc.).
why is the sfb 3000d have phillips head screws and a different bass knob i got mine in from you im just wondering if their all that way? Bass knob does not say sundown audio and the dial is black instead of having that silver ring on the top

Pure Sesh sundown unofficial posted a video on his instagram showing the clip remote working with old 3k. They will be selling them individually soon

Have 2 SA 12in. Series subs looking into getting 2 U series subs from sundown, what is the ideal amp for this setup for daily use and not competition but avoiding over heating from the amp
If I was u.. that's if u got with the u series get the sfb 3k is perfect for two u series 12s
If you’re that paranoid about running the amp hot, I say get a SFB5k when it becomes available. Then run the subs at 2ohm. That way you’ll be running the 1,500 rms to each sub without pushing the amp.
Robert Edmondson those subs will take 2000 a piece all day and not even warm up. The 5k is at 1 ohm is what would be ideal

If you run two 8in that's 1200w rms what amplifier would you get for subs with that rating? Probably the 3k I guess
Depends on the impedance
At 1200 watts rms you need a high output alt install ASAP or your stock alt will fail make a choice :D LOL

10 months with the sfb 2000d and amp blew smoked on 2 8in sundown sub volume half way up wired to 1ohm (cheaply made amp)

@@sippislick5598 POWER SUPPLY WILL DETERMINE IF YOU CAN RUN A 8K CAUSE NOW IT IS ALL ABOUT AMPS AND HOW MANY ALTS/BATTS WILL FIT
