I bought this one to run my 2 SA 10's 750 rms each. 1ohm ported box in my little isuzu pickup truck. Definitely crazy power!! I'm going to go buy 1 of the new v2 10's 1000 rms and just run that 1 10 in my truck maybe the u series 1500 rms. Thanks for the videos

Looks like it did pretty damn good on that bench test. I have 3 d2 sa12s and a single d2 nsv3-18 in boxes I've built and so far gotta 144.4 out of it so i know if i bought that sfb 2000 I'd bring my numbers up considerably since I'm only currently gettin about roughly 1,300w out of it. I'm waiting to get another vehicle or to find a transmission for my 04 jeep liberty so i can get back to jammin and competition again.. life has been pretty depressing without my music for about a year or so now. Still wanna wrap it with sundown logos and ride around car meets since some of those guys wanna hook up nice lookin cars with a decent system.

I am so glad I bought this amp I'm only running it at 4 ohms on two skar evl 12s in a porter box tune around 28hz-35hz-45hz
@No Time yes with only a 4 gauge kit with a 80 amp fuse 500 farad capacitor and a xs750. It only digs in the low 12s pass clipping. Normal daily med hi volume play with no clipping the capacitor don't even come on. With a hair of clip 13.3-6

I appreciate the other video demonstrating how to set the crossovers Derek. I have it wrote down to use later. Those amps have been so impressive on those power levels. I guessed on the last test being 2500. I was pretty close.
I'd really like to know the current draw & efficiency. Vast majority of cars are 100-130amp alternators at best... If the target market isnt the guy who wants to run extra batteries and a small footprint amp. That information would be great.

Hi Derick, when installing two SFB-2000D Amplifiers... do i need to install two bass knobs or will i be able to use one bass knob for both amplifiers with some kind of splitter?

I don't believe in these test anymore. I have a sfb5000 and I don't like it. It works and everything, but it doesn't seem like 5000 watts or even 3000 at 1 ohm. Maybe I have a bad one, but I could care less about repairing it.
I ordered a 1500 from down4sound putting it in a excursion with a pair of sld 12 d4 in each barn door got all the room in the world and these take up none of it

You guys also need to note, hes also using double ground and power. So it is getting more juice from a single power and ground. Also he's only showing how much watts your getting, not showing the efficiency

why they so cheap compared to the sae 2k and the dc audio 2k at $687 and this amp only $279 is it a budget amp. are they reliable

Hey man i got myself a dual 12 set up thats rated 1000rms at 2ohm & a peak of 2000. You think this amp would work fine for a long time without killing the subs?

Amp keeps clipping. Gain only half way running X12 D2 @ 1ohm. Am I not getting enough power to the amp or something? I previously had a JL audio jx 1000x1 and never had a problem I know this amp can push this Sub a lot harder than what it's giving me.

That is crazy power for the price fr cause not everyone is trying to ride competition fr some of us just loves a lil something something I was really curious to kno what kinda numbers they do fr cause they rate them Rockville k9s at a 1000watt s rms I'm the one to see with a couple of these fr lol are they strappable by any that would be seriously cool some the smaller systems maybe even sound quality instead of spl u ever try one of them outings u will have ur work cut out for ya Steve Meade would be able to tell ya what a sound quality competition would be like trying to compete where ur highs are equal to ur sub out put plus all fine tuning u will be running a bunch of power tests from ur tweets all throw all ur mids and mid bass to ur tight clean sub notes this is why the elite only does these contests cause there hearts are in it to win it fr it's a totally different world in like iasca or usac fr you should try ur hidden talents at things Derrick I'm curious 2. Kno just how far down this rabbits hole ur aqanted with and just how much hidden tuning talents ur capable of fr I believe u got the skil set ft

I'm just curious, if you play these continuous for 20-30 minutes, how hot the amps will get? I would think being so small that the heat wouldn't dissipate well.
That is the question that I have as well. We are all familiar with the quality of Sundown's products, so I guess once a few more of these are put to the test in the real world, those that have used them for either competition or and extended amount of time will let us know how the perform. It is nice though, to see a company that stays on the hunt for improving our addiction....I mean hobby. I thoroughly enjoyed my saz1500v3, hopefully these 'micro' amps will garner the same reputation.
William Lewis I own the sfb 300 I played it for 2 hours plus on road trips, trust me it was room temp the whole time blasting the zv5 15, although I do have some beefy power upgrades so the power hungry little thing gets what it wants

I need an honest opinion. I'm running a t1000-1bdcp in a single cab, two MMM Bd 10's(1250rms ea) in a 3.06cuft box tuned @32htz. I'm low on space and barely fit my t1000-1bdcp, can't fit my t1500-1bdcp. I know this is a full range like taramps etc. Would it be worth buying this to replace my Rockford? Save on space? Or would this not really touch the quality of the rockford? I would greatly appreciate some opinions.
I just watched bigDwiz do a video on the 1500 bdcp I think.. I'd go with your gut and ignore everything but the output wattage. I trust Sundown as much as I do RF and that's honestly saying a lot for me considering I had to save up to buy my first amp at 16 which was a Fosgate Punch 45. Protest man! Make bigDwiz do a dyno on the 1000.1 bdcp! Revolt my brother!

For your setup The sundown will be louder an produce more power, the Rockford won’t be as loud but deeper, the lows dig deeper, and overall sound better.... personal experience, I have the sfb 2000 and went back to my 1500bdcp

Got this amp yesterday and it blew just by switching my wires from one amp to the other I’m new to this and I want to know where I went wrong 🤦🏾♂️
I know this is a stupid question but was your vehicle on or was ignition all the way back? These amps are sensitive and even give a slight shocking buzz when connecting speakers. How did it happen?
Sometimes they short when tpuching5 the frame of the amp, especially when touching with Allen wrenches. I had 2 blow by doing just that.
You need to install a fuse minimum of 10% size of the amp wattage.
Example : amp puts out 1000 watts use at least a 100 amp fuse. Anytime working on electrical, DISCONNECT the Ground at the battery 1st !!!
To those, who keep asking these amps are around 65-71% efficient at 1ohm.

I have oversized 1\0 sky high ofc cable running to this amp and the power inputs still have some slack to add a bigger gauge size, can fit 2/0 welding cable.
