I don’t know much about the current line up (apart from Andy) but was a huge fan in the 70’s. Will there be an album coming out with all new material on it? I love the sound of this and also Don’t Bring Me Water. I love the singers voice too.
With this new single we can hear how exceptional talented the original band Sweet was, without each other ( as always ) its not the same bright good feeling energy any longer, and this band should have another name to respect the original Sweet legacy.....
As said above this song is one of andys unfinished demo,s from the late seventies and as the title says all bands go through changes and this change has been a good one,well done guys!
@@simoncartlidge1726 thats nice.... But☝️..... the original members together had a specific energy that created miracles and was just meant for the time period it lasted..... They split up and that was the end of that magical energy and succes. Without each other they were just musicians like many others . Sweet will always be recognized and remembered by their awesome hits from the 60s and 70s, performed by the original members, period ! The songs after that are nice but will never ever come any close..... The fans want to hear the golden oldies, to catch that divine energy from the past. No one can replace Brian Steve or Mick ❤️🙏
This band should at least be renamed back again as Andy Scott's Sweet. The legendary hits and those great later singles like Lost Angels alongside those superb 1st 4 albums from Sweet Fanny Adams onwards belong to the original band...not this version. Never quite got Level Headed but it is still part of The Sweet's musical canon. I know Andy is the last member standing but i feel this does not respect the band that gave him stardom and all the trapes that go with it. Still i guess he is entitled to carry on with the name but as the band that introduced me to pop / rock music back in 1973 i cannot go with this. Anyway i'm sure other 'mature' fans of a certain vintage will support them.
Yep! Andy is the only remaining member of the classic Sweet. I'm glad that he is still alive and kicking. However, this is not a true Sweet. I agree that it should have been renamed as Andy Scott's Sweet! It could be fair enough!
They might be a great band, but a video featuring the current ageing line-up isn’t the best promotion idea. Especially when the brilliant original band were at the forefront of glam rock back in the day.

Yeah., a new Album is coming out. I think in summer or autumn. The title were ``Full Circle``. Lee Small told this in an interview.

This song was a left over from the Cut Above The Rest Sessions of 1978. Andy has obviously decided to complete it and release it
