      First of all, are you sure you Camry has the factory remote option? Not all did in 2001. You can verify that by calling a Toyota Dealership's parts department with your VIN number and they can look up the original build sheet to see what options it has.
      If it does have the factory remote option then this procedure should work. Some vehicles are more sensitive than others when it comes to the speed in which you are doing the steps, most people tend to go to slow. Make sure to remove the key and open and close the drivers door a few times in between programming attempts to "re-set" before trying again.

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před 3 lety

      This will only work on vehicles with a factory keyless remotes system. A 2000 or 2001 Toyota Camry did not come with a trunk button on the factory remote.

      If your vehicle has the factory remote option ( not all do ) and the remote you received matches the FCC ID of the remote that your Camry actually uses, then yes it should still work

      Hello, Yes it needs to be the specific correct fob for your vehicle. There are several Toyota fobs that look the same but you need to be sure to match the FCC ID, to the correct one for your vehicle.
