    Worked for my nieces 2000 Camry LE! I just bought it for her as a first car last week and the car didnt even come with remotes so I was pleasently surprised to see the old, unused key fob I had bought off ebay many, many years ago for a 2002 corolla that I no longer own actually worked for her car.

    There was an entirely different system for the 1997-1999 Camrys, excluding the XLE from those model years. The system in question is called the "Toyota VIP RS3000". It was a port-installed security system that could be optioned on various Toyota vehicles from 1997-2002.

      A 2005 Camry with the factory remote option uses a different procedure. You can find those instructions here www.ProgramYourRemote.com/classified/2005-toyota-camry-keyless-entry-remote-fob-programming-instructions-listing-6096.aspx

    Will this work on any camry? Or must it have anti theft. Can't seem to get mine into programming mode.

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před rokem +1

      It needs to have the factory remote option installed. You can verify if your Camry has that option by calling a Toyota dealerships Parts Department with your VIN number. They can look up the original build sheet for the vehicle to see what options it has.

      I just re-read you comment, I missed the first time that you have a Corolla not a Camry as this video is for. I don't have the programming information on a 2002 Corolla

  • @JaeWoodFLAWDSKWAD

    What if my locks dont cycle while waiting for confirmation? Ive used the power locks and manually cycled them but the confirmation cycle has never happened.

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před 5 lety +2

      If your door locks do not automatically cycle when you remove the key in step 4, then the vehicle is not in programming mode and you need to start over. In between attempts make sure to open and close the drivers door a couple of times to "reset" before trying the procedure again.

      The vehicle may not be set-up for factory remotes. You can verify that by calling a Toyota dealerships part's department with your VIN number. They can look up the original build sheet for the vehicle to see what options it has.

      Are you sure your Camry is set-up for factory keyless remotes? Do you now or have you ever had a working remote for the vehicle?

    • @redman2751

      ProgramYourRemote.com it had remotes before

    • @PYR-Auto
      @PYR-Auto  Před 4 lety +1

      It could have an aftermarket or dealer installed keyless remote system. I would recommend getting your VIN number and calling a Toyota dealership. speak with their parts department and ask if they can look up the original build sheet for your vehicle to make sure it has the factory keyless remote option.
