  • Minimally Invasive Procedure to treat Frozen shoulder
In office #ultrasound guided frozen shoulder procedure. This is an in office procedure that is done in those patients that have failed all non-surgical treatment and are still suffering from pain & stiffness and want to hold off surgery.
Immediately after the procedure, I am able to recover some range of motion with less pain. This procedure also allows the #physicaltherapy doctor to work with the patient in order to return the patient to #painfree living and better #function
    What is Frozen Shoulder
-Condition that affects the shoulder characterized by functional loss of motion.
-Can affect anyone but is more common among woman, especially diabetics and hypothyroid patients
-Can develop after an injury like shoulder fracture or Rotator cuff tear, after surgery or idiopathic (without a known cause)
-patients develop significant pain and limitations due to the lack of motion.
-Initial treatments are generally non-surgical (Physical Therapy, NSAIDS, Steroid Injections)
-Failure to improve with non-surgical treatments leads to surgery( Manipulation under anesthesia or arthroscopic capsular release)
I have another option, a minimally invasive procedure that is performed in the office that can be attempted before surgery in those patients that fail to respond to non-surgical treatments.
#ultrasound guided glenohumeral capsular hydro dilatation.
This procedure helps break some of the scar tissue/inflammation that causes frozen shoulder and in many cases immediately starts to help with the range of motion and pain.

I would have loved to see the Ultrasound scanner screen.

Hello , We don't have you in our system, I believe you had something done somewhere else. Unfortunately, The Procedure that is done by Dr. Gonzalez is unique and unless the doctor was trained by Dr. Gonzalez it was something else. Sonographically- Navigated Frozen shoulder Release(S-FSR) aka Dr. Gonzalez's technique is not a painful procedure. Nonetheless we truly hope that your pain was short lived and are already feeling better. For more information about S-FSR please call 954 7516990

Did you do a hydrodilatation injection?
I just had one for my frozen shoulder an hour ago and it was painful.
Just wondering if you had a lot of pain immediately afterwards? I can barely move my arm. Thanks

Yes, a lot of pain during and after the procedure. It's been a week now. The pain now decreased by about 50%. Good luck to you. Take care

@@shahilanathan8067Did the hydrodialation last or does it wear off? Would you recommend doing it?
