    My 1st frozen shoulder healed with cortizone injections 10 years ago & started weight training past 3y.Had a left frozen shoulder app 6 mths ago and have been treating myself with Tumeric Cayenne& black pepper mix plus weight training throughout and is now 98% healed without any meds besides occasional anti-inflammatories.

    Thank you for the Education!. In my case, I would have save a ton of money if I went directly to a Physical Therapist rather than an ortho who have me on a very expensive MRI with contrast and painkillers. I was an uneducated, physical therapy-wise, thinking physical therapy was massage therapy. After 2 or 3 sessions on PT my pain level subsided for me to get good sleep and started exercise. I even went to the gym, after a year of lay-off. 2 months later I am on my way to full range of motion.

    The remedie for my left frozen shoulder was manual therapy, exercises & stretching and finally a prp injection which i was afraid to do but it did some kind of magic and finished the job. You have to keep it moving in anyway possible. Now I'm dealing right shoulder tendonitis and i won't let it freeze by any means. I'm also scheduling a prp injection again.

    I have had ongoing shoulder bursitis for nearly 7 months now, which has developed into a chronic frozen shoulder.
    I’ve had 10 sessions of physiotherapy, with no effect. Today I had a shoulder hydrodilatation, not sure if it will help? But I’m hoping.

    I got septic arthritis from a frozen shoulder whilst I was on vacation from the u.k. visiting Australia. I was in agony for over a week until my son made me visit accident and emergency dept. at the local hospital. They diagnosed sepsis in my shoulder and took me straight to surgery to have the puss in my shoulder washed out. I was put on intravenous anti biotics 5 times a day. I had to stay in hospital for 2 weeks. They saved my life.

    I have frozen shoulder following a broken humerus. I have had one cortisone injection with a wonderful PT that is using a hands-on approach with stretching and strengthening. On my fifth month. I am improving dramatically. One more month should be 100 percent ROM. It's hard work. You can do it!

    I’ve had frozen shoulder over the past few years, first in my right shoulder and then in my left. The right shoulder started hurting and then it kept getting more painful, until it froze. I didn’t go to the doctors. I researched it online and watched CZcams videos to learn stretches. The right shoulder took almost 2years to heal because I injured it very badly. The left shoulder is almost healed. I didn’t go to the doctors because the research said, there is no cure and it just takes time to heal. I didn’t want to take steroids.

    I developed bursitis & a frozen shoulder about 7 months ago after having my covid booster.
    My orthopaedic specialist came to the conclusion that it could be caused by the covid vaccine.
    The main factor being, that he has seen 6-7 patients with the same condition & symptoms as myself which developed after the booster shot.
    We had no ongoing medical issues, or injuries before the covid booster, which was administered in the shoulder & arm area that I have developed these painful conditions.
    I would like to know is there any data being collected or research into this yet? It’s very concerning 😓

    • @ClinicalPhysio

      Hi! Yes this is sometimes referred to as SIRVA - shoulder injury related to vaccine administration… they have started doing research into this

    • @AVportau
      @AVportau Před rokem

      @@ClinicalPhysio with, as you say, as many as 1 in 10 UK citizens experiencing a frozen shoulder at some time in their life, there is as much chance that the vax was just an untimely coincidence. with millions of vax doses given the incidence of frozen shoulder is extremely small.... it seems to be related to incorrect technique of injection into the shoulder capsule, and not the deltoid muscle, rather than the vax itself.
