Thank you father. I'm continuing discerning Monastic life but it is very harsh because I have an uncaring family for the spiritual side of Life and it is very painful.

I love what Br Brian says in this video about there being no one standing between ourselves and Jesus.
Eraimattei, you don’t need your family’s understanding, permission or approval to follow Jesus.
When Andrew was attracted to Jesus and asked, “Master, where do you live?” Jesus told him, “Come and see”.
We tend to want guarantees about big decisions but some answers are only given when we make ourselves worthy of them by stepping out in faith. This is the most confirmation anyone gets in their vocation. It’s a matter of trusting the One who is calling and fearing nothing more than the thought of going through life without him.
