Hail hits Belle Meade (Nashville), Tennessee, March 2, 2012. Possible tornadoes for the rest of the night. No tornado touchdown after this hail drop, however.

Very nice catch. Hail doesn't look horrible large but then it's kind of hard to tell as it's a mixture of different sizes and due to camera movement. I'd have to guestimate you had hail ranging from quarter (1") to around ping pong (1 1/2") in size. I hope everything survived allright there.
I was at work when this happened and we all had to go into our safe spot to take cover. It was scary as hell. This is one of the many reasons why I want to leave Tennessee. The weather is just too much to deal with out here.
That happened in Detroit and then, just as suddenly, it stopped and the sun came bursting out!
Ouch. We just missed the big hail storm. We were hunkered down in the basement waiting for the tornadoes.
