- It was heavier than this about 3 minutes earlier but I was stuck in the pickup truck and my camera was in the house.

This guy's car is in the garage... finally! Somebody recording a Hailstorm...and he's got the brains to remember to get his car out of harm's way!!! Kudos to you, young man!!!
I'm from reading too. dang, it was horrible. had to stay in a target parking lot because it was so bad to drive. I went to pick up my new glasses and all the cars in the parking lot were destroyed. broken windows, doors, my car even suffered a lot of damage.
This storm was crazy! I'm from Reading too! Golf ball sized hail. Never seen it before haha
Totalled my 2012 charger over near Holy name high school , i was glad though i put to many miles on it , it was a blessing .

I remember this well, I live in Exeter Township, about 6 miles East of reading. My pickup and car were both in the garages as was most of my neighbors rides. Our roofs on our homes took a beating. It was far worse as you went towards Reading, city and the Berkshire Mall. My one neighbor was there and their car was totaled.🤕😒😒🤕
I was getting out of the Citadel and saw kids a lot of kids staring out the window seeing the clouds form before exiting the door and the hale showed up out of nowhere when I was walking my way home down Walnut Street and had to hide in a grocery store to prevent getting hit on the head from the hail. Felt like stones hitting my head.
That hail storm dude it's like raining ice of course and it's like raining hard stone what a crazy weather

I remember my mom picking me up from school in this and it was painful and messed up a lot of cars
I lucked out that day. I was at work and parked under the only tree in the parking lot so my car was the only car that didn't get the shit beat out of it. For like 6 months after all you saw was cars driving around covered in dents.
I remember that day right after Storm pass I drove around on west reading Berkshire mall area all cars with brocken windows and. deep dents on. body. insurance. not happy
oh yeah I remember that. all the kids in the bus were crying lol it was Kool to watch. I didn't get home from school till 6 pm because of all the traffic that the hail storm caused

Well, thanks to the high consumerism in P.A., you can find almost anything if not everything in the curve, so I found a whole carpet and I put it on top of my truck of course with the harsh part up lol, i got knocked out by a huge piece of ice, I mean I wobbled but I didn't went down, but I did wobbled a lot. Lol
Finding in a curve such as someone wants 30 bucks and you get it after bargaining for 18, or finding in a curb?

I live right next reading airport we got slammed with hail i was in the car when the first round of hail it it was bad we had to cover the kids up with blankets just in case the back windshield broke then we got caught in the second round of hail this some crazy weather we are having lately
The height of those storm clouds must have been massive to produce hail stones that size!
that storm hit were I lived and the wind was blowing really hard I thought there was going to be a tornado.

So glad you had sense enough to pull your car into the garage. I love watching these storm videos but my pet peeve is , when you live in an area known for storms WHY do they NOT use the garage for what it was meant for ??? Sorry , I'm not fussing at you just those folks that are so wasteful and so privileged that think the world owes them.

Yes! Live in Wyomissing and my car and boyfriends cars "STILL" have dents in our cars! My windshield was smashed! I am disabled and was in the upstairs bedroom, actually thought, the world was coming to the end! Soooo......noisy and extremely scary!!
My mom,dad,brother and I were dropping my mom off at work and I was like 7 and we stopped at a self car wash and took a picture😂

we had hailing when it snow but It wasnt that bad it was like small haling nobody cara didnt get smash but we got everything from Oklahoma. Oklahoma was bad there hailing was the same sizes as a big clock we didn't have any school because it was slipped and Oklahoma definitely had no school for a month we went back to school like next week
That fucking storm was crazy, that shit came out of no wear, and then the sun came out towards the ass end of the storm. Thankfully round 2 of it wasn't that bad.
Wyomissing/West Reading/Shillington was worse. My sisters car has 35 cracks in the front windshield and the the back windshield was busted out. Plus all the dents made it look like it was a victim of a drive by shooting (minus the holes going through the metal) but close enough. At least my truck survived with only like 4 dents, Mt Penn didn't get hit by a lot of huge hail, though I did see some the size of golf balls, but not much.

Was that your chick in the car, i live in them thar hollywood hills of Los Angeles, we never get hail. We hardly get any weather at all. We don't even have weather men here, because every day is sunshine. Except for the rainy season between dec and march I think and just during that time, we get a little down pour here and there, rain only nothing else. Then straight sunny days everyday for 9 months straight no clouds nothing. An earthquake on the 4th july that shook my bed violently for 20 seconds, then constant small tremors and that felt like the earth was alive for an hour. That was our excitement for a while.
It was weird. I rather have that hail. The hail with earthquakes!
