For the life of me I can not figure out why we don’t change our collective behavior. I have offered options and I have taught ways to change ones daily behavior to express AfriKAN centered lifestyle. They actually reject that the changes necessary for growth and instead complain and ghost, or become intimidating. It is a sad state of affairs!

    Q. It’s 2024. Why are we still crying for their acceptance? (Srsly, as a UK born diasporan - I would appreciate intelligible answers).
As I see it (and history to present day would attest) people like what they know and/or are familiar.
Yes, we [black people] have existed since the dawn of mankind. However, the reality is no one likes each other & that is fine - so long as it’s devoid of aggression and violence.
As someone who resides in an exceptionally metropolitan city, the story is still the same: unless necessary, people do not naturally mix. I find contentions in the language, behaviour, and attitudes from one ethnic group to another (irrespective of majority/minority).
Nonetheless, I find we (as blacks) look particularly ridiculous trying to fight what’s innate. I never argue with my non-black peers about their views (as I find the process angering and futile) and with enough willingness they start to understand and see the prejudices for themselves. But beg and argue NEVER. This is ultimately why society and those who inhabit it, make sport out of embarrassing and laughing at us. The trope of us needing them lives strong.
It’s NOT BY FORCE. Band together, patronise your own and find strength & unity through the discrimination. There is strength in numbers.
(still, please feel free to satisfy my curiosity) 👀

We gotta stop it; just because you don’t know anyone that this color would work for, doesn’t mean that there is no one; the real world is bigger than we many times realize. I recently saw a young female restaurant worker that would need this EXACT color-and she’s not alone-so why would we want something taken off the market because it offends us, while at the same time being a blessing for others. People that can use that shade DO EXIST! (Do our objections of the shade, also mean that she is offensive to us, as well?)
I remember a billboard in New Mexico or Arizona that depicted Mexican Americans with a skin color that caused an uproar! “WE’RE NOT THAT DARK!” they angrily exclaimed. Why does everyone have such an aversion to ‘darkness’? True, every single Mexican in the world was not the skin-tone they found so offensive, but neither are they all as white as the new sign depicted, the one that made them look more like the early colonizers of the Americas, the sign that the dissenters liked and accepted; I often wonder how much this hurt those darker-skinned people when their skin color was being nationally spurned!
    We gotta stop it.

Somehow at my age (67) I sense that there is a titillating aspect to put ‘blackface’ on, especially among pale skinned males. I cannot recall people with deep tones using pink foundation for effect or amusement. Perhaps the problem lies in the catch-all term of black for identifying people. Oddly enough, this term does not include people from Sri Lanka, indigenous Australians, the Andaman and Fiji Islands, etc. who arguably have a range of deep tones as well. Sub Saharan Africans and their diaspora continue to be just one incorrect color-despite the true diversity.

Hi darling. First of all, love your skin. Having skin envy, I'm in Canada 🇨🇦and I have to say thank you for your eloquent and very poignant peace on this issue. The only component that you may not know a lot of our cousins as we say on the continent of Africa miss in understanding qhy is this Racism happeningbto me when it comes to these pieces where one experiences racism from these communities that come on to the motherland or you know, try to make products. For the black global community is that the reason why there are no black people doing this? If you are aware that the black people on the entire planets are the chosen ones of our creator meaning we were once over a thousands of years ago the only people that inhabited the entire planet, everybody else came later. And so the evil demonic people in the world know this truth and don't like that. That's true, so they do things to keep us from knowledge. Prosperity and black empowerment, so there's actually institutions and systems globally in place. That actually block black people, especially over in America, from owning hair shops. From being the manufacturers of wigs or really being the one who make black foundations. There's very few companies that make foundations that match the various tones of chocolate colour skin. But go on ebay and see if you can find brands like Iman, Rhianna are high end brands or more genertic mall brand like Maybelline or Cover Girl That, do you make foundations for black skin You may have to blend but just a heads up in regards to. Why aren't black people opening u Wig and foundation manufacturing businesses. It's very difficult to get funding and access to the materials that are mostly made in Asian Countries. It's also very difficult to market because there is racist systems in place for hundreds of years. That will do things to stop you, block you. Drain your finances so that you can't continue. So sadly, that is an explanation why you're constantly seeing these specific communities. Being the only ones dealing with our stuff and a lot of it is toxic and contains poisons for our bodies. But anyway, just wanted to say thank you for the content. And that is kind of the reason why you're seeing the difficulty in our culture is being the one who aren't making industry reading this. There are systems in place that don't want us to prosper. Because when we prosper, we will always win and be eay better than them.👍🏾🇨🇦

THERE IS NO HUMAN BEING WHO IS ''BLACK'', on the same note THERE IS NO HUMAN BEING WHO IS ''WHITE'' or any colour of the spectrum. Black is not even a colour in the spectrum for that matter.
Therefore, AFRICANS including all the peoples with all the diverse shades of African skin tone, STOP calling yourselves Black and stop accepting to be called 'black' as your skin tone is NOT black no matter the deepest tone of brownish skin tone or appropriately 'burnt bronze'. Many lighter skin tone seek the sun and creams to bronze-shade their skin.
Those whose mission it was to sow division that started with the derogatory intent of calling people 'black' and their favoured 'white' when it should be more like 'peach' skin tone or pale looking people. So, stop calling people 'white' and do not respond to the ones that refers to themselves 'white'.
