Right to the point. Thank you 😊
💯
I don’t have any credit history. So should get the secured version.
Or the cash back version ( discover it) I was sended discover it in the mail. But I declined it. Cuz I didn’t apply and had no money at the time
@@jayyli7204 I would apply for the non-secured version and see if they approve you. It’s a beginner credit card anyway so you’re not necessarily supposed to have credit to get a beginner card
@@NobleCredit ok Tysm. I’m 19 and trynna grow my credit
@@jayyli7204You got it Bro 💪😎.
Any Success?
I would get the secured card, I picked Discover but there’s plenty of others like BOFA and Chase, I recently just got it unsecured and it was worth it, just set automatic payments to do on time payments and wait about 6-7 months and they’ll give you your deposit back within 5-7 days and he credit balance will go up as soon as you get an email.
Hey I'm a college student, and I wondering if I should first apply to the discover it secured card or their student version? Thank you
The normal one first
@@NobleCredit
I got the student version first should i get the secured card?
Discover
I don’t know why, but I can never get a Discover card
Sometimes you’ve gotta wait a while if you’ve opened a lot of credit cards recently or have a lot of recent inquiries
I have a unsecured card with discover I do have Bank of America. I was thinking about getting the discover cash back card will it be beneficial?
are you saying you have a secured card with discover? why not just graduate the secured card to an unsecured card.
if you're saying you have an unsecured card with discover, then which one?
and yes i recommend getting the discover it cash back because it's a good entry level credit card for beginners that doesn't have too many bells and whistles, but just enough for you to be attentive with your spending to maximize the categories.
What about the discover it balance transfer card?
Same card
I want to start building my credit I’m 22 only making 6,700 rn and tried applying and I tried going through your link and I unfortunately don’t make enough to be approved, I haven’t been able to find a credit card anywhere. Do you have any recommendations?
Next time you apply for a credit card, put your total household income on it. If you’re making 6,700 is that per month or per year. If it’s per year then you live with others since that’s not enough to live off of. Therefore you need to include the income of everyone else in your household. The Discover it card is pretty easy to get but if you need an even easier card to get, you may have to go get a Bank of America cashback card which was my first ever credit card or if you’re Military, NFCU will definitely approve you for their credit cards
@@NobleCredit Thank you so much! They’re going to send me an email explaining why I wasn’t approved but I’m going to look back into after I can apply again, I work part time so it’s yearly, and although I live w family I still have to pay rent for being older. Thank you for the tip
If you are having trouble finding a credit card company to accept you I was able to get my first card from capital one. The drawback is they hit all three credit bureaus where many others do not. So it will show an inquiry on all three credit bureaus.
6700?? sheeshhh! wha do you do bro?
@@henryijeomaRight, tF? 🤯😳🤭🤫🙁
He said part-time but wtf you do, that's like $550 n some change a month🤦♂️, Crazy. Homie gotta do summin different. 🏃💰
Hey thanks for the video! I recently applied for a capital one secured credit card but got denied. How long should I wait before applying for a discover one? Thanks
It depends on how many inquiries you’ve had within the last year. If that capital one card was the only card you applied for in over a year then go ahead and try for the Discover it. It’s important to see why you were denied for the capital one though
@NobleCredit thanks for the reply! I applied for chase credit card back in December of 2022. Then applied for a Capital one secured last week and got denied for low income ( I didn't know I could add the money I get from my parents as a student). How long do you think I should wait? Also, I don't have any credit score yet. Thanks so much 🙏
@@z.anaser you could apply for Discover it since it’s a beginner card, just report your combined income with your parents. Let me know if you get approved
What about building credit?
The card helps you build credit too
Does the same apply for good credit and if so, why?
The Discover it card is still good if you have good credit. There are better cards you can get, but you can’t go wrong with the Discover it cashback credit card
@@NobleCreditwhich other ones
Does the cash back card start building credit as well or is that just rhe secured credit card
They both do
@@NobleCredit ok cool cause I'm 18 n wanna start building my credit, which one would u recommend out of those two?
@@size14intimbs52 the cashback card. I have a video where I go into more detail about it if you want to check that out. If you’re already set on it though, here’s the link you can use:
