    I am 27 and just got approved for my first credit card with Discover it! I applied for the discover it travel, and received a $500 line of credit!! I am pretty excited because I have been trying to apply for credit cards to build my credit. The first time I applied, I was not approved but that was a few years ago, so I am so happy that I was accepted this time! 😀

    Making payments every two weeks helps you stay on top of your spending and budgeting. By paying off your credit card balance regularly, you can avoid overspending and incurring a large credit card balance that can be difficult to pay off.

    So far so good. I’m rebuilding my credit and now close to 700. I applied and got approved for $12,000 the next day. I don’t plan on using anything close to my current limit but it’s nice to have. The 5x rewards has been clutch this quarter with crazy California gas prices. Unfortunately that was an easy cap lol. Overall great card.

    • @ZachReynolds3
      @ZachReynolds3  Před rokem +2

      @@qbee3413 no problem at all. So the quick answer is apr is what you pay if you don’t pay off your bill on the due date. If you do pay it when it’s due though, you will never pay interest and the apr is irrelevant. For years I’ve never worried about the apr because I always pay off my cards. Also you can set it up to pay off your balance in full each month and that way even if you forgot it would still be paid off and you’d never pay interest. The beauty of using a credit card the right way.

      Can I get a card with a turd on it? My Discover Card stinks. I’ve had this card for ten years and they have NEVER increased my credit limit. It would help my credit score if they would throw me a bone. But no, never, not once. I opened a card with a bank just a few years ago, and they started me with a limit double my Discover limit, and after a year they raised that by the entire line that Discover gives me. Discover can bite me!
