@Aaron9 he didn’t lol
Today’s game is less physical and yet somehow superstars are getting injured more often.
I think the players are too coodled and it has made them soft and they are too sensitive.
@nino escxbar u sound mad young, too young to be commenting on eras you never saw

Just watching Jordan here after watching the NBA makes me think there's no one out there scoring like Jordan would. If he was in today's NBA he could score 60 points on just his 2 point game haha.
@Clan leader Predator Just by looking at Kawhi's game, MJ could average 40+ easily.
@Clan leader Predator Maybe. I agree Chamberlain would be the best center in this era.
@Clan leader Predator MJ scored 69 pts with only two 3 pointers made. So if u deduct 6 pts thats 63 pts. He also scored 64 pts against shaq's orlando magic with only 1 3pt field goal. And that was during an era with clogged lanes bec you dont have 3 to 4 team mates who can shoot and hit 3s. So yeah, MJ score 60 pts today without a 3pt field goal.
@Clan leader Predator idk why u hating it’s true. He was scoring where people would clog the paint because three point shooting wasn’t like it was today. Also the defense back then was a lot harsher that’s why most of the time the team with the greater defense won. Now offense is more important. So yea Jordan would prob average around 42-45 in his prime.
@Clan leader Predator the defense in the 90s was also different than the defense now.

You forgot in 1998 game 1 vs the Heat, Jordan sprained hi back. He left the game in the 2nd quarter. Jordan them came back after half time and the end of the game he scored 28 pts to beat the Heat in game 1. In game 2 MJ's back was still in pIn, in with Jordan had a no look shot to the basket and won game 2. Jordan sweep the Heat and advanced to play the Knicks and he was still had back pains
I think you meant the 92 series but yeah
He also left out the foot injury in the 91 finals he had a toe injury in game 3 I believe in LA people forget about that
I knew about the others but that bad wrist back in '93 was new to me! Makes those numbers MJ put up through that run even more impressive!
Nowadays we have these 'superstars' who take a rest during the season here and there even though the trainers and the food has only gotten better since MJ's days. Kinda pathetic I would say...They get paid more with better support and they still 'need' to rest...Pathetic and lazy!
I think one time Larry Bird was drinking a coca-cola during a game before Gatorade was a thing 😆

8:47 Russel lost his man. BTW how bout the broken rib he gained from Ron artest.
That should be included
Some others that wasn't mentioned include (significant):
1. 1989 ECF vs the Knicks where he was nursing a groin injury but dropped 40ppg the last 4 games. He aggravated it in game 2 and it was his lowest scoring game with 15.
2. In the 1991 finals with stubbed toe? He even wore a cut open shoe in the first half of game 4.
3. He dropped 64pts vs Shaq at Magic where he had a wrist injury.
4. Tendinitis in 96 finals. There was a clip inside the plane or a bus in the 72-10 documentary where he was using a "portable" (advanced tech during that time) muscle stim attached to his knees but it was of course bigger than today's standards. It was wired now you just stick the electrodes. 😆
Why are you doing this??... because it's what he does.
Good video mate
No man can curse my friends. You will stay blessed 🙌 🙏 I'm out!
You can see passion and love for the game of real athletes when they are injured, as long as they can stand, they'd want to play, you have to put them in a medically induced coma or in jail to stop them from playing. Athletes these days, are all about drama, specially the ones that uses "mental health" issues. Give me a break!
Imagine pro boxers taking those hits and keep fighting. Full contact NBA in 80s and 90s toughen up the mentality and physicality of those men. Current NBA Players never get the pounding, a little bump or a scratch, they cry for their mamas.

Uncut hoops you forgot to mention the injury he had back in the 91 finals, I believe in game 3 at LA against the Lakers, he had a toe injury, where he literally cut a split at the top of his shoe to take pressure off his toe yall go look that up, and he still put up good numbers during that injury that people forget about.
That is when men were men with integrity. Not a bunch of thugs.
And you have Kawhi Leonard taking off whole playoff series for mild sprains to his knees lol

Just wondering what happened to his finger. The only thing I can find was him messing up his index finger with a cigar cutter. But everything I can find about that says it came after the season was over. I don't doubt you because you have the clip with Isiah Thomas talking about it. I just can't find anything.
I had heard MJ fractured or broke his finger in 98 before the playoffs but was't sure
He Did, actually it reached even during the playoffs.

1:54 I could've sworn that was Jimmy (Buckets) Butler

41 a game in the 93 finals just absurd
I’m pretty sure Magic Johnson had the best sick game ever…
MJ's right index finger looks like that because he cut it on a cigar cutter after the 98 season, I dont know if he ever went to a doctor to make sure it healed correctly but that is why it looks like that not because it was broken before.
Didn't know the finger was broken in that Utah game
See how many times he got touched going to the hole. Brush up against a jersey today and you're guaranteed to get a flagrant 2. I don't blame the players currently playing since they were drafted into this no defense league that the owners and executives are responsible for the making. Yet, this current era has had more injuries than any other era before it, which is extremely odd
Can you do 5 times LBJ was not injured but quit?
Players now only care about winning so that they can get more money. It's the fans who pay the price both literally and figuratively.
I thought about the broken foot story in The Last Dance, and how silly Jordan's decision was. Not only was he risking his career, he risked the entire franchise, his own family potential financial support by rushing back to play. Sure, it worked out, but you never know what can happen. However, the more I look at teams, the more apparent that there's a reason why Jordan had to be that way. Many generational talents who practiced diligently, faltered in the toughest moment of their playoff. I think they needed someone like Jordan to give themselves a smack. Harden or Chris Paul slowing down when things go south is what happens when players are too pragmatic. They were too calculative for their own good, seeing no point in prolonging a loss. I wonder if they had played 100% from beginning to the end, perhaps their teammate might have the fire lit under them and helped pulled the team through elimination games, rather than giving up so quickly. I feel that perhaps competitive players like Jordan, Kobe and recently Luka, Jokic, Giannis and Jimmy Butler are either reckless, or they take a chance because they know that if they ever let up, they might never win. I think that recklessness is required for franchise changing players, who's going to give their heart and soul for a win if the best players give up at the face of defeat? Having iron will really can change a franchise, from staff to fans. I think everybody would be inspired, if they see the star of the team playing their heart out for a loss.
LeBron spend 1.5 M per to his body to flopped but MJ spend his basketball career with a metality that even the physical injury could not stop him on taking the W for his team.
Here's a thought🤔...that's why I like calling him the Bruce Lee of 🏀 in attitude. Remember learning that BL fought against the Dr saying he couldn't do his art anymore or he would hurt something worse, BL didn't care but did bcuz he was just that competitive and really wanted to do his art and being told that he had to limit himself drove him to want to more. Although Kareem actually was taught by the late Gr8 martial artist and as I watched the Lakers vs Celtics back when KAJ got into it with Larry legend. I 1st thought of Bird get'n checked but probably didn't realize he was going against Hakim from Game of Death 🤣... I digress, as good as LBJ is and has been over his 16+ years, if a clip was made of him like this, would it be him fussing every time he had injuries as excuses? Pippen gotta book due out about his difference of opinion on the Last Dance so I've seen via the net. He (Jordan) couldn't have done it without Pippen or vice versa, but Air helped his game from the time he found out in practices probably, that Pipp was his ace to confide in on the court. From learning over the years they pushed one another and if albeit Pipp airing his version of truth, neither would 6 time champs without the other and they figured how to weather the storms better than Shaq n Kobe bcuz 6 - 0 in the finals helps the argument of the better push through difficulties team between the 2. But LBJ didn't win back 2 back chips and in a #23 jersey. It happened in the #6, which I always think of Dr J 1st. The pressure of 23 is heavy and he's possibly had his fill of the Jordan cup...oops did I make a golf pun? Lol, I hope that don't get me in trouble 😂...🤨opinions?
