  • We've seen many players opt for load management over playing through injuries in NBA History but Michael Jordan was not one of those players. Here's 5 times he fought through adversity and DOMINATED. Hope you enjoy.

      @Clan leader Predator MJ scored 69 pts with only two 3 pointers made. So if u deduct 6 pts thats 63 pts. He also scored 64 pts against shaq's orlando magic with only 1 3pt field goal. And that was during an era with clogged lanes bec you dont have 3 to 4 team mates who can shoot and hit 3s. So yeah, MJ score 60 pts today without a 3pt field goal.

    • @beena3591
      @beena3591 Před 2 lety +4

      @Clan leader Predator idk why u hating it’s true. He was scoring where people would clog the paint because three point shooting wasn’t like it was today. Also the defense back then was a lot harsher that’s why most of the time the team with the greater defense won. Now offense is more important. So yea Jordan would prob average around 42-45 in his prime.

    1. 1989 ECF vs the Knicks where he was nursing a groin injury but dropped 40ppg the last 4 games. He aggravated it in game 2 and it was his lowest scoring game with 15.
    2. In the 1991 finals with stubbed toe? He even wore a cut open shoe in the first half of game 4.
    3. He dropped 64pts vs Shaq at Magic where he had a wrist injury.
    4. Tendinitis in 96 finals. There was a clip inside the plane or a bus in the 72-10 documentary where he was using a "portable" (advanced tech during that time) muscle stim attached to his knees but it was of course bigger than today's standards. It was wired now you just stick the electrodes. 😆

    I thought about the broken foot story in The Last Dance, and how silly Jordan's decision was. Not only was he risking his career, he risked the entire franchise, his own family potential financial support by rushing back to play. Sure, it worked out, but you never know what can happen. However, the more I look at teams, the more apparent that there's a reason why Jordan had to be that way. Many generational talents who practiced diligently, faltered in the toughest moment of their playoff. I think they needed someone like Jordan to give themselves a smack. Harden or Chris Paul slowing down when things go south is what happens when players are too pragmatic. They were too calculative for their own good, seeing no point in prolonging a loss. I wonder if they had played 100% from beginning to the end, perhaps their teammate might have the fire lit under them and helped pulled the team through elimination games, rather than giving up so quickly. I feel that perhaps competitive players like Jordan, Kobe and recently Luka, Jokic, Giannis and Jimmy Butler are either reckless, or they take a chance because they know that if they ever let up, they might never win. I think that recklessness is required for franchise changing players, who's going to give their heart and soul for a win if the best players give up at the face of defeat? Having iron will really can change a franchise, from staff to fans. I think everybody would be inspired, if they see the star of the team playing their heart out for a loss.

    Here's a thought🤔...that's why I like calling him the Bruce Lee of 🏀 in attitude. Remember learning that BL fought against the Dr saying he couldn't do his art anymore or he would hurt something worse, BL didn't care but did bcuz he was just that competitive and really wanted to do his art and being told that he had to limit himself drove him to want to more. Although Kareem actually was taught by the late Gr8 martial artist and as I watched the Lakers vs Celtics back when KAJ got into it with Larry legend. I 1st thought of Bird get'n checked but probably didn't realize he was going against Hakim from Game of Death 🤣... I digress, as good as LBJ is and has been over his 16+ years, if a clip was made of him like this, would it be him fussing every time he had injuries as excuses? Pippen gotta book due out about his difference of opinion on the Last Dance so I've seen via the net. He (Jordan) couldn't have done it without Pippen or vice versa, but Air helped his game from the time he found out in practices probably, that Pipp was his ace to confide in on the court. From learning over the years they pushed one another and if albeit Pipp airing his version of truth, neither would 6 time champs without the other and they figured how to weather the storms better than Shaq n Kobe bcuz 6 - 0 in the finals helps the argument of the better push through difficulties team between the 2. But LBJ didn't win back 2 back chips and in a #23 jersey. It happened in the #6, which I always think of Dr J 1st. The pressure of 23 is heavy and he's possibly had his fill of the Jordan cup...oops did I make a golf pun? Lol, I hope that don't get me in trouble 😂...🤨opinions?
