@@SpiritDragoness Thanks, missed that the first time around. Checked the original to be sure as well. According to her, he says "all will die", not "all of you will die", a small but important difference that I agree with her changes the tone a bit.

So , in the clip you played the commander never says “ all of you will die” though it appears on the subtitles. It would be simple to double check what was said, but I guess it’s easier to get clicks like this
Watch the original. At the start the officer says something like “pa-ubit vi vsyem”, sounds an awful lot like “all of you will be killed”. Though maybe he said “maybe” and that got left out of the video, I don’t know.
Actually he does say that "all of you will die" at about 10:32 watch again.
I watched the original video feels like it was cut out of context. He says "pogibnut vse", but his intonation implies that he said "esli" before that which means "If everybody dies". So the rest of the speach makes sence "if everyone dies then know this". This is just an opinion I don`t claim he actually said it. Even if he didn`t say "if" then phrase "pogibnut vse" is actually not "all of you will die" it`s more accurate to undertsand as "everybody dies (everybody is mortal) , but know this YOU will be remembered"

There are a few ways you coud interpret this though, it could be a speech explaining how a meaningful death in battle is better than a pathetic death in old age, as it could also be a speech meant to make the soldiers accept that they are already dead, so that psychologically they cannot be killed. tricking you into being brave, kind of like that crazy guy in Band of brothers. "Brothers! The detachment received combat orders. By the end of the coming night, the deadline is 6:00-we must take positions. Each of us standing in the ranks will not dare, starting with me and ending with the last one on the list, to retreat without an order.
If we are all destined to perish, know one thing: Mother Russia will never forget us. Eternal flames will be lit for us just as they were lit for our grandfathers and great-grandfathers"
Please watch out what content you consume and don't bite cheap peremogas.
Thank You but this what happens when people don't properly vette their sources
Sadly it wont make a difference if its the truth or spun propaganda, we see whats happening out there and the death toll remains the same regardless of wether this video is real or fake.
Still leading them into high risk with some lame ass patriotic speech.
@@andersbjrnsen7203 what high risk? They're just doing their usual job. It was even before the "spring counteroffensive" really begun, so there weren't even big clashes at that front. Don't cling to lies, base your worldview on facts.
@@gazirelseiryuu7229 yeah, the same - low. At least for the russian side. That's why Ukraine keeps spinning this "meat assaults" narrative, despite, you know, being the only country of the two that closed its borders for all men and actively hunts them on streets. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of videos of AFU soldiers complaining about how awful things are for them, how terrible their commanders are, how they're used as fodder and expected to fight till death with bare hands. Yet you, westerners, are taking about how terrible russian army is based on ukrainian propaganda piece, convinced in it's obvious lies.
YOU can make the difference, regardless of who you support, if you're a honest person, you must fight misinformation and promote real facts. That's what I believe at least.
With this level of determination, how can anyone doubt of their final victory?
Slavs are just built diffrent. I am Serbian and if i am called i would sacrifice it all for my country and family. We are all just dust running through the glas of time.
About the introduction's question, in this situation, I would honestly get rid of my commander and take a walk. Now there is a cavieat, if I believe in the mission and it aims to protect vulnerable others that's something else alltogether, I'd go. But for an offensive to invade a neighbouring country, no way, not gonna get killed for a fascist country on a rampage. I prefer to die fighting my country of origin in these conditions.
it is easy to say that when you are in comfort of your home i agree with you that this is a war of aggression and i think that no one in their right mind should even consider going to a war where your main objective is to conquer another country/topple their government or interfere in their internal matters in any way, but keep in mind that people are being mobilized by force on both sides and it isn't as simple as i would kick my commanders ass and take a walk
изучите историю конфликта... люди очень любят начинать отсчет истории, с удобной им даты...
Thank you for this very stark analysis, Paul. I appreciate the trouble you go to to make the comparison with other battles, as well as pointing out aspects of those soldiers' outfits, eg, that someone like I would never have noticed or considered of importance.
That “Eternal Flame” might be different than they think.
Mosquitoes to a zapper..eeshia
Officer: We're attacking again.
Soldier: But not like in "Enemy at the Gates," right?
Officer: **wry smile**
Soldier: …not like that, right?
...
Officer: Well actually, you're name will be forever remembered on plaque...
Great movie
@14:30 Look at all those beautiful, well structured, massive graveyards. Must be one of the most sophisticated and efficient Ruzzian infrastructure I have ever seen.
This is brutally sad.
that shit is fake
The commander didn't say all of you will die. His speech started like "you should know one thing - mother Russia will not forget you
Regardless of sides. Each of those ppl we've seen suffer in this conflicts videos is someones son, someones father, someone's sibling. They have loved ones just as we do. I pray for peace and I pray peace is all our children know.
thanks for posting unverified things
the American veteran looks at the suit and weapons and should listen to what the Russian officer is saying because that is the key to the Russian victory. fortunately for the Russians and unfortunately for the Americans, he will not be able to understand this speech even in 1000 years😂😂😂
i like that you did a comparison between d-day and whatever you can call what the russians oparation . objectives in d-day were clear and planning was very detailed. command structure was very detailed as well, with officers and ncos at the front level. equipment was varied and set up to tackle all possible contingencies versus an almost homogenous, and underequipped, and most of all teher was proper treatent of wounded and relatively high turnaround of casualties. if a guy got shot, he would get evacked as soon as possible and teher was much care to provide medical services even in the fornt lines. the field hospitals were set up as soon as they could manage it, and teher were hospital ships waiting to treat casualties even further. russian soldiers never had as high standards of teratment, equipment or command and they do seem to accept this and "tough it out" collectively. as if by toughing it out you achive any tactical goal. well surprise surprise, it acheives nothing but get more and more KIAs , even un the amerian civil war, and under very promitive conditions, attrition rates were lower than in some of these battles...
Imagine an American officer saying: “John Smith! Harry Brown! Peter Stevenson! Your names will be remembered for centuries to come!”
This is like that, only with typical Russian names. Does anyone remember any John Smiths from heroic battles in the past? The rememberance motive is as weak as the post-mortem prospect of angels singing high praise on a harp.
Yikes is all I can say
another propaganda production of the "zele film" studios!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just signed up to your site keep up the great work!
That speech mirrors the imperial Japanese attitude towards their warriors in WWII. Maybe that commander thinks he’s some kind of samurai 🤣🇺🇸🇺🇦
Moder russia has already forgotten you
This was incorrect and this will stay as a post of shame.
I suspected it. The guy that tweeted it, is infamous unreliable
It is there, at 10:32
@@SpiritDragoness You are actually correct. I take it back. Paul just managed to skip the first seconds of the video in the first run.
@@SpiritDragoness Good catch. Thanks.
What scares me is what happens when they start to run out of soldiers. The next option might be nuclear.
The guys on the video are reasonably well equiped. Especially gorka and kevlar helmets. They are also non uniform, which indicates that every guy was acquiring his own gear, quite possibly for his own money
Soviet war legendarium is based around self-sacrifice and honorable death (and retrospective remembrance). Being a hero is priority over being effective. The commander in the video leans on that heavily (and apparently with success)
Just to play devil's advocate here... I don't understand Russian, but is it possible that what the officer is actually saying something more along the lines of "Every one of us will die SOMEDAY, but if you die in battle here you'll be remembered forever blah blah blah..."? Because that's a lot less insane.
It’s dark, just accept that it’s reality, and messed up. You won’t find a silver lining no matter how hard you try! SMH.
Not motivating at all. You wouldn’t hear any Western general say that malarkey. Ever
Maybe our commander in thief 😎🌴🐊
Thats why western military is boring, too much by the book, too much good boy, never fun
@@pedrorodriguez2914 What does that even mean?
Cmon...
The difference between storm Z and storm V is that storm V is on a military contract and in this way the contract can be extended indefinitely. In theory they also get military benifits. Storm Z are on a 3 month contract and that it. After they go home. The change was made because the conscripted men where complaining that prisoners got a better deal than them and the optics of Putin signing pardons was bad for morale.
Thank you for your service in the past, and your continued dedication to American values! Your analysis is very compelling. The phrase I’ve been using to describe Russias alleged military strategy is ‘they are using soldiers like bullets’. When the state has devalued its own troops to this degree, is it any wonder that there’s rampant war crimes.
Ukrainians are winning 😂😂😂😂😂
The Japanese imperial army did it when they knew they were being defeated. Maybe the Russians?
Jeez Ukraine must really be losing bad if this guys video's are back in my feed again.
Bakelite, wonderful stuff. An early plastic used for radio enclosures, telephones, all kind of things. Hard, tough, durable, good looking. Still available and used today.
Thanks for the continuous update! I am super excited about how my stock investment is going so far, making over 18k weekly is an amazing gain

Russia is winning haha Paul in denial mode 🇲🇽🤝🇷🇺😎
Hello, russian bot! I heard you guys work double shifts now, or they will send you into storm-z units 😂
Russia was going to win in just three days ... Russia 1 tv told us so! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha
Even if it does, the price they paid is too much for a few stretches of territory
This is literally a massive human sacrifices. The question is why and for what??
For a cadre of kleptocratic billionaire and their power mad leader who is the richest of them all. Dying for an ideology is bad enough but to die for these vermin is plain insanity.
