Every congressperson and senator should have their wealth scrutinized. If you come to Congress with $100K in bank and investment accounts and become a millionaire while in office they should be forced to account for every penny of wealth they gained after being elected.

Why we allow congress people to actively trade anything still doesn't make sense to me. They should all have to sign off on blind trusts, also the president and his cabinet members. If they really want these positions for the right reasons, they shouldn't care about making money on the side. Public service shouldn't be self-service at the bribe and insider information buffet.
