My dream is that the current starting XI become the back ups. Although that's more like fantasy

Wait 2 years and see if I am right. Saka probably at his most valuable right now. He could be frazzled in 2 years and on the decline. Plays too many minutes.
Sorry to sound so negative but mt expectations are very low. This club will not, maybe cannot, take the next step. To compete on 4 fronts and win multiple trophies we need 5 or 6 elite players. We ain't getting them

It’s an important window for now to complete the sort of skeleton of the rebuild and in my opinion if we don’t get the fees for the outgoings it could be the difference between bringing in 2-3 key players and 4-5 key players at that point Edu needs to make some decisions about overall strategy as well as poor output of academy including ineffective loan spells . Our recent hit rate of deals has been good and we have walked the tightrope of bringing in 23 year old versatile players etc . Ben white has really impressed me this season particularly since zinchenko came out , the two assists against Brentford I think was a big performance from him , interesting to see if timber can fit on the left at all for next year . Ben needs to carry on working hard and I think he can reach some more levels . Kai and Declan their versatility has papered over some question marks in other areas of the squad I.e. Partey and Jesus . As for competing on all 4 fronts in 6 years time hmmm. Yeah no one can see that far ahead sorry. I do admire how Liverpool have built their squad though in past years .
