Great video J. Smith, operating about a dozen small engines each year results in some maintenance costs. Good oil and gas are the top two priorities for running small engines (air filter of course is right up there).

We've used standard motor oil in our Honda 4 wheeler's since the early 1980's. This is 2018....they still run just fine. Its all marketing, they just want you to pay a ridiculous amount for doing simple things like changing your oil.

I run only non ethanol gas in my 72 FLH I bough a 2002 Harley FLHSTC used with 31.000 on a well maintained bike. I changed to all synthetic motorcycle oils in all there holes and am using non ethanol gas. The bike stopped running after about an hour of 45 to 65 mph speeds and started back up after about 20 minutes. It didn't seem hot and i saw no codes I have no clue why this happened. I am an old panhead and Shovelhead guy and I am sorry I bought this twin cam I think I will sell it and find a good Evo I can do my own work on.
