How do you feel ?
David: feel good
In the book : most horrible pain I ever felt
No the most pain was the race to get into this race!!!💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Yes, don't appear weak in front of people
Taking souls
wrong race, the book was referring to his qualifying race
He appreciates the pain of his body after succeeding
Interviewer: "how was the heat for you?:
Goggins: "I didn't even notice it."
Crowd: **laughs in disbelief**
Goggins brain: "I have taken your soul"
I loled at this
@@naturem10 I literally did the very same thing! 😅😅
@@mustlearnmore4884 you just made me read it again & I cracked up laughing again hahahaha
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
@@naturem10same brother, same. Hearty laugh
The Audiobook sent me here...what a legend!
Same 😃
Me three!
Same here!
Me 2 - what a freak!
Yep
His silence speaks for itself. You can see the pride and self satisfaction in his face. He knows he's a winner.
He was in incredible pain.
Winner who wont be able to walk at 50.
@@mikeFolco your retarded. Get educated. Do some work.
@@mikeFolco I agree. I don't really follow him for his physical training. For me I more admire his mindset when it comes to building mental toughness. I can agree that his way of training is probably a bit excessive and probably not healthy. But I really like his whole mindset of embracing the uncomfortable by doing things that suck.
@@mikeFolco winner who doesn’t regret it and will go down in the history books for ages
"So how was the heat for you"
Goggins: "I didn't even notice it"
That response was evil
LoL, imagine the sun gettin MAD and Goggins like: It's that all you got?
His interviewer was like “this fucking guy…”
He trained - the heat was a double edged sword - one side for him and the other for the other contenders.
TAKING SOULS
@@buckyboy000 Exactly, he trained for the heat very well and starting with the 1st cohorts (Rookies) at 6am meant he was a little less in the heat than the contender in 2nd cohort, 8am and 3rd cohort, 10am.
Still a fucking achievement and good planning|training,
You can just look into his eyes and tell he went into the darkest most evil place in his mind to pull this one out. Goggins is a legend.
3:15 Soul taken ✅
More than one I would say.
"Didn't notice it... 😕" after reading the book I'm glad he took that dudes soul. Shang Tsung that somma bitch! 🙌🏼😂
Polar Bear Comedy 😆 amazing book! Especially the audio version.
That is badass
David goggins didn't take his soul.... The man was inspired... In fact in the video he told the story of David goggins running 100 miles and hurt 100.... He was inspired
Thumbs up if you’ve read the book and get him
The man is a prophet
There is no finish line
If you listen to his audiobook, he was completely out of it during this interview. He said that these ultra-marathons during this year was the hardest thing he's ever had to do. And considering that he went through three Hell weeks in BUDS in a year, that's saying a lot.
A whole lot
And it wasn't about the trophy - he set a new bar. That must be a difficult personality trait to deal with - as phenomenal as it is to have.
@@buckyboy000 what trait
@@YALDABOATHJr To continue to raise your "bar". Caveat - I have not yet finished the audio book.
@@buckyboy000 being a man a tough one isnt a trait. Its will power mind over matter. Not some personality trait.
Haha 2006 Goggins was hardcore. I can feel his disdain for Chris in this interview
youre supposed to run the full 24 hours LMAO
Chris cosman?
the handshake lol you can tell
His eyes looks like he just came from another world in that race and he’s here. And he decided to share his knowledge that he brought back with him.
At 3:15 you can see when he takes those peoples souls. He looks away processes it in his mind and looks back. It’s amazing to see it in action as it is rare to see it the actual second it happens.
He fucking told him didn’t he. Ha ha haaaa
Here from audible
Me too man.
same broo
The intensity in his eyes at 2:57 man. His life is probably flashing right before him there
You are right
His audiobook "Can't Hurt Me" led me here. This dude is truly the hardest human ever. He might be superhuman.
The audiobook led me here. This man has so much internal strength. He's definitely the "quiet storm"
Mad respect, Goggins gives a whole new perspective on life
This man did not smile once. This was not for fun and games. You can see the conviction on his face. Take notes everyone.
Smiled at 1:45
He was exhausted
@@sv-xi6oq Hey idi0t it all about majority case if all will laugh you will smile don't even u have used common sense
mans killing his demons
You can tell isn’t even satisfied with this. He wants more!
This man is sitting here in his own world, a place seen only by him in his minds eye, where only a rare breed can relate, with two broken feet, and holding in extreme pain. He was the least prepared person, pushed himself to a place that few can imagine
I came to the understanding that no one saves you during one of the worst times of my life. Whenever I would share that quote ppl would look right past the profound in that. It wasn’t until this book by David Goggins that it’s all coming together for me. David uses his life as the Guinea pig for all of us… okay no one saves you so here is what it looks like and means to save yourself. So inspiring.
Well said. You don’t realise no one is coming to save you until you are in a situation that there is no way out of but to endure it and surmount it. David’s lessons are so powerful because his life is a testament to being in that place most of us will find ourselves in at some stage and then surmounting it. If we don’t know how to push ourselves and increase our capacity for suffering- and to find purpose in that suffering, we won’t make it out with our souls intact- that is our self-respect our dignity our potential fulfilled. When life gets real and you suffer it makes sense to learn how to suffer first and spend time there so you know how to endure it and rise above.
Thank you Josh, let’s get it. We got this.
He left us all not excuses, that's his gift.
03:15 “how was the heat for you?….I didn’t even notice it.” Straight face while everyone laughs, but David was dead serious 😝 man is a fuckin beast
Dudes a legend. He’s not motivating, he’s intimidating.
Didn’t even noticed it.... Man that’s some taking souls shit
After listening to the audiobook, this is very satisfying to watch. "No one is coming to fucking save you!"
The audiobook brought me here too what a BADASS!
great book! and to be able to come on youtube and listen to your actual interview @ Badwater is awesome! The mind can tap into so many areas that a person cant begin to imagine!
David Goggins is my new superhero, his book brought me here. What a human being and inspiration
Same and agree a legend he was totally on another planet during that interview. Respect.
I’ve listened to the audiobook several times, and can never get enough of it. What a man!
Just finished this part of the book (3rd time) and he says he was off in another place during the interview. You can totally see it. If you have the book, read it multiple times because it is more amazing the 3rd time.
Up at 5:30 every morning working out. Audio book was my final kick in the ass I needed. Thanks David, Adam and Can’t hurt me. Millions in the bank funding my way of changing less fortunate people lives is my Bad water race.
Here from the audiobook. It was amazing and so is he💪🏾
Hearing the audiobook of Can't hurt me from Goggins led me here and I gotta say hearing the story again about how he ran 101 miles in 18h from the other guy made me smile. What a legend Goggins!!! I listen to his audiobook while going on my long runs! Such an inspiration
Listened to the audiobook and wow definitely a legend 💪🏻
here from the book too. I can't express how grateful I am for great minds to lay out the path and save us time. he makes me tear up so many times. inspiration. BAD MADAFAKA, I love you!
David Goggins is one of the most amazing people EVER!!!!Such an inspiration to all…beyond words!!!!
Very impressive David did so well. Thanks for sharing.
That's about a 13 minute mile for 135 miles. Yup that's pretty fast. Fun fact he came back and smoked that time and got 25 hours 50 minutes. That's a 11 1/2 minute mile for 135 miles. That's insane!
They don't make people like you no more...salute
The audio book is amazing! Legend
The definition of mental toughness a real inspiration for anyone willing to listen
"What heat??... i didnt even notice it.. "
classic!!..
Love the audibook. You really inspired me!
How was the heat there….
I didn’t even notice it….you are a Man’s man Goggins❤
Playing college level or above sports and had an extremely hard practice and when get home and your girl or parents try speaking to you, you just can't emote like you usually do, you just need to get away for a hot minute. Food, sleep and alone time is all you crave. I imagine this ×10 for what Goggins felt after this race.
Relatable. It's like you have to drag your mind back into " dealing with people " mode. From like a million miles away.
Few can relate to this feeling
Never gets old. Absolute savage
Thank You.
Great video... when the world was just learning what David Goggins was all about. 30 hours is fast.
Audiobook brought me here. One of my heroes
Wow! Audio book brought me here. And just ... wow! Remarkable!
Here David still has got a hole in his heart....damn
Crazy what you can do with determination alone
And he didnt even notice it 🤣🤣
It’s so cool after reading his book to seeing there was video of this. Awesome
Better than All the interviews and podcasts
3:16 he took everybody's soul specially the guy talking
I am reading his book right now!! That’s why I come to see this video!! Stay hard!!!
His book is phenomenal… Makes you want to take notes..be a better human..
David goggins is a machine!!
The definition of a heroic man!
An absolute beast.
This guy deserve a house not just a medal
He really does stand out as UNCOMMON around uncommon men 🔥
I believe David learned how to persevere from the day he was born - this is as deep as the Earth's core.
"Im not a real fast runner so i cant take a lot of time.." impressive my guy!!
What a inspiration
Currently listening David Goggins' "Can't Hurt Me" audiobook, where he fearlessly admits to not being a great runner, a powerful revelation that adds a profound layer to his mindset and how he pushes himself beyond his limitations.
Who could have known this race would have that much of an impact to his own and many other lives back then!
Goosebumps Dammmm
Love this guy
A big humility on his face - strong man - god bless this man
This guy is madness in a great way possible.
You can see the Pain in his eyes
Audio book sent me here what a legend
Man, that look in his eyes. Glazed
Legend of a man!

Tired, chilled out David is a nice for a change!
And he did all that with a hole in his heart.. let that sink in
The books is fantastic if u guys haven't read/listened to it.
Didn't realize what a badass he is
Much respect
The greatest G.O.A.T
His mind is in a completely different galaxy
Most humans never tap that space
Now one truly knows the work he put in to do this.
After this brief interview, David Goggins went on another race. He hasn't stopped since.
Hes a beautiful n handsome tough guy lets go David 🎉
I like how the music makes this all uplifting but in reality he was in the darkest place I'm his mind
So this is the real deal. Yep, awesome job!
The audiobook sent me there.
At 4:20 when Goggins said he never took his shoes off, and how he only stopped once and all that I love how the guy he was talking to sounded absolutely petrified. Said some “oh… you didn’t… take… your shoes off…
This man has lived a thousand lives
He unlocked the human spirit that is stronger than the body👍
Paying his respects to Aikos repeatedly is pretty darn cool.
He took his soul and smiled back
Page 223 of his book
“the heat didn’t bother me, partly because it was early and because I’d heat trained so well.”
He was being deadly serious about the heat question at 3:14.
Legend
He's a really life super hero
Freaking Legend💪🏽💪🏽🔥🔥🔥
Goggins is the man.
You are a fucking phenom....your soul is so big and bright, God sent you here much like Jesus to let us mere mortals know what is possible...
88 is perfect Number for a driving Legend.
