You run for hours!?
Goggins; "DAYS"!
Haha I was thinking of that interview too. And that death glare as he says it
YES!!!! You clearly know what's up!
Right when he sits down you can see Goggins converting back to David…he’s on the verge of tears and rightfully so.
I never noticed that change, it's definitely subtle but I guess that's how he mentally copes with such difficult tasks 💪🏽💪🏽
There's a shock to your body that doesn't really start until you stop
It can can overwhelming
David is the definition of a real man. He takes the weight of the world on his shoulders and does it with a smile on his face. Respect 🫡
Respect to you too Brother, thank you for watching! 💪🏽💪🏽
I love Goggins and I've read both his books but to be honest man, he pretty much never does anything with a smile on his face 😁
@@crashdavis721 Honestly seems like a very tortured, unhappy dude. Not just in this video ofc - anyone would be drained after something like that.
I get what you mean but the definition of a man shouldn't be to simply be able to bear the weight of the world. We are all human, and whilst I agree sacrifice is definitely necessary to achieve what you want, I think it's really a give and take. I.e., no man should have to sacrifice or the bear everything just to be called a 'real man'.
Exactly what worldly weight has he lifted on his shoulders? Running an ultramarathon is a very personal pursuit, not something which solves any problems for rest of the world.
imagine running for 25 hours
they rest at checkpoints
@@lil.bad21 supposedly goggins didn’t stop. He only stopped to go to the bathroom
it's also like 120 degrees out there
You should try it, you might like it! 🤘🏼😎
@@lil.bad21 most of the guys never rest for more then 20 mins if they wanna place as high as he did, and 20 mins would be 1 stop not 20 mins at every stop. I bet Goggins didn’t stop for more then 5 mins at any given one
People underestimate the power of doing something that completely exhausts you it has a similar effect as a psychedelic trip
Completely agree Brother, it's in those times that you truly find out who you are. How your inner voice talks to you. Does it beg you to stop or push you on? The things that come through your mind and the feelings that sweep your body cannot be replicated anywhere else.
It's a shame that most people don't go to that place in their body and mind.
Thanks for watching Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
that’s why I love the sport of running. It’s almost like a thrill to push myself to those unbearable painful places and emerge from them a stronger person. In the moment it’s hell but afterwards it’s the best feeling in the world.
@@maximilianoventura7947 Deeper in the cave you go, the brighter the light when you emerge.
Stay awesome Brother 💪🏽
You don’t know who you really are until you sacrifice everything and face the pain in pursuit of a goal
well said
Man I felt that. I ran a 40 mile ultra a few months ago and got injured halfway through. It took everything I had to finish and I cried multiple times on those last few miles. What normally would take me 35 minutes took me several hours. Baby steps all the way off the back mountain.
Congratulations brother and very well done on this achievement! Pain is temporary and achievement takes it's place 💪🏽
Good shit brother I have much respect for you
You're a warrior, congratulations brother
What a wimp
@@Motivation_World_2023iteotribu hi
That's the most quiet we've ever seen him. That race took it out of him but he pushed through and still had a sense of humour afterward. I couldn't imagine walking, let alone jogging for 25 hours. Respect, Goggins!
and about no.1 who reached in 22 hours....
When he said “I’m a 190 pound man” that puts it in perspective. To run that time for badwater period is crazy, but to do it with a frame that size at 190 pounds is incredible. The difference between 150 or 160 pounds over that distance compared to 190 pounds is huge.
His vo2 max must be off the charts
not to forget he had a literal hole in his heart
@@hyke23i was just thinking this 😳😳 mans had half his oxygen leaking out. Like a v6 with 3 proven pistons and winning the race. CRAZY
What has that got to do with vo2 max?
In order to cover the same distance as much lighter runners in a comparable time, he has to have a higher vo2 max. He’s certainly not more efficient than them.
@@joshmiller2725 Vo2 max is not key to longer runs. It is on 5K-10K where you in zone 4 and 5. In ultra marathons you spend most of your time in zone 2-3.
1:55 when he almost cried. I felt his strength, he really gave everything he had right there. Good job man!
Incredible he can run for 25 hrs and speak that well. I wouldn't get 1 word
You really can hear how much emotion he has in his voice and you can see it on his face just how much effort hes putting into that race,, and he really left everything on that track,, its almost as if hes running away from his past demons..his charity work is outstanding, great effort while serving to help others in need to get a good start in life.
Such a hero, going through such pain for the sake of others 💪🏾💪🏾
Putting 266 kids through university for free is no mean feat. You Sir, have my utmost respect and admiration ❤💚💙
Thanks for watching Brother 💪🏾💪🏾
This dude is my inspiration to stay sober.
I couldn't help but smile upon hearing this MAN speak; he's truly an inspiration!
I really believe David is an angel that was sent to Earth. He's special! Thank you David for all the motivation you give me!
Thank you for watching Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
David keeps saying that this is what people who want to excuse themselves from putting themselves in the fire like he did keeps saying....In his words "There is nothing special about me. I invented this guy. God did not invent me."
@@wisdomibokette As David is my idol, I heard him say that and you made a good point. I have an opinion on that subject.
I totally agree that he wasn't special at his "starting point". Who he is now, took a long and really harsh road. Most people would just quit, but he endured and embraced the pain to make himself better.
My point why he is special is because besides having a difficult life, he never quit. He developed his skills beyond the world-class level (leadership, mentality, emotional intelligence, etc.). and all of this was HIS WORK! Not given by god, or any luck having a good starting point or skills. For me, that's what makes him special and what I admire about him! And gives me the strength to endure and get the best version of myself possible!
As for me saying that he is special doesn't make me soft or it's an excuse for not seeking for being the best version of myself possible. It makes me wanna give my best all the time and even though I'm still *****, he makes me believe that I can follow his steps and achieve my potential!
Thank you for your comment! "Stay hard" brother! 💪
He’s a dead beat dad
Ive just finished his book one weekend ago! Never heard about him before. His achievements and how he did it are unbelievable! Perfect example that you're able to everything what you can imagine and put into your head
Awesome story behind every great man, keep it up Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
This is what it's about and what I'll take with me. He is so incredibly humble, so driven. I'm going to reach deep within myself and find something similar, I have to.
Thanks for watching Brother, all the best to finding your calling 💪🏽
Don't EVER give up. Keep pushing.
I'm running 5km every day and exercising for days now I smoke weed snd was just comfortable and living a good life ... not anymore I wake up run exercise before I allow myself to smoke also I was a big gamer no more ... I spend 2 hrs if in a day on the pc just no time for it
Do it
God bless you David Goggins. You might not see yourself as a hero but you are mine.
We went to jump (Parachutist) school in the same class Mar 1996 Ft. Benning, GA. He was training to be a Para Rescuer at that time. I'm 52yrs old now. I hope one day soon we can meet again and can tell him personally what a inspiration and HARD CHARGER he is to the whole Planet. %100 true story.
We live on a plane, stationary. Peace.
Thanks for watching Brother and thank you for your story 💪🏾💪🏾 I hope you get to meet again too
@@zoomtruth1013 Stop investing your mental energy into something easily disproven by anyone ON the Earth, even more so for those off of it. Do something more productive with your time and energy.
I have nothing but respect for him. I really look up to him so inspirational.
WOW, a true hero. Respect!
Dude ran coast to coast 3100 miles without a day off never done before let that sink in…
David Joggins does it again.
You can tell he is only thinking of his best friend that died.
What an amazing human being
you can tell he just went to hell and back and its all hitting him. awesome
Thanks for watching brother 😎
First time I've heard him talk without F-bombs, that was definitely David and not Goggins.
nonsense
Legend!
This guy is super human,,,,why,,,,he controlled his mind,,,what a great NAVY SEAL!
Thanks for watching 💪🏽💪🏽
Awesome bro!
Man it is truly something... thank you David for being you man. holy shit...
David Goggins said :- Akos Once Again Rocked. It means Akos is legend of a legend🎉
Goggins should live stream himself running an ultra marathon
That would be awesome, just a full video of one of his ultras would be great to watch 💪🏽💪🏽
Dude is all heart!!
LEGEND
David Goggins is the real deal!
This dude is an animal. Mad respect for the man.
David Goggins changed me
Glad to hear he had another positive impact on the world Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
If feel blessed, knowing that i walk this earth at the same time as a man like Sir Goggins. Truly a force of nature. Bless this man.
he is not special, you can do this too. rememeber that.
Dude rocks.
Dude boulders 💪🏾💪🏾
My professor taught us that when a human push through his extreme and give everything mentally and achieve very great feat after great tedious process, our brain experts anandamide naturally which is as equal as drugs , it give unbelievable
cognitive elevation to us. I saw it in this video. Every human must go throught that state atleast once in his life.
It’s a different plane of existence which so few people go through now because they are weak. They fear the effort. Nothing can describe the pain and pride which comes from pushing passed what you thought was a limit 💪🏾💪🏾
Just imagine man he was 3rd without any specific training for this run but if he took special training then 🥶
I’ve been running away from myself for 36 years
You got this man, make a change for the best. Pain quickly goes and achievements takes it’s place 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
You can do what ever you want Brother. It's all mental.
They don't know you son... Who's gonna carry the boats!?!?
Every runner in this race is a rare breed of human beings.
Thanks for watching Brother! 💪🏾💪🏾
Amazing
Hope to be there one day
Waheguru Ji Mehr Karn God bless you a lot Sir Love You Sir 🕉️🔱🙏🙏😇💪🦁🐯🏅🏆🙏❤️😇🕉️🔱
I put David in a higher echelon placing his team in the spotlight like that. A very small number of true professionals I’ve seen do that properly out of many.
He looks like he saw God.
Man was already thinking about the next race while sitting on that chair
You’r a speciel human being, and very inspiriing 🙏
I would pay to run with this guy
Me too brother.
135 miles in death valley at roughly 80-115 F is absolutely insane.
You would pay but not the way that you think
I love him
Probably pissed he didn't win😂
He was badly injured and also age matters
and he ways 30-45 more pounds then first and second@@believer8754
I wanna be just like David goggins when I’m older
Start now Brother, get a head start and set a life of discipline early 💪🏽 Don't be like other people, don't even wish it. Be yourself, and you'll amaze when you 💪🏽
What a man - humility - strenght - mental - let’s get the book - i’ve just finished - what a book Waouww
Fucking amazing book! shorturl.at/ekyG1 💪🏾🏆📖
I'm 44 y/o, I ran 5 miles last night and I am in pain.
Keep grinding man. I am turning 45 in January. The grind never stop.
Stay hard
I'm 49 started from zero 10.04.23 being fat at 297lb. I coulden jog/run so i walk. Hit my first target 9,3miles 01.01.2024 3am, jogging 9,6miles. Next target is walking 21,7miles. Goal is to run a marathon 2026. Stay Hard.
@@mikaellind1873 Great work man. I got bloodwork done last fall and found out I was severely copper deficient from taking zinc supplements and iron deficient from donating blood for years. Started eating beef liver and slowly getting better, running more.
@@mikaellind1873goggins started at 297lbs as well
Who tF was first place?😮
If Someone didn't know,
It is a 4 man relay marathon race...each needs to complete a minimum of 1 mile to rotate....
David ran alone by himself
I’d like to know who is it that beats this guy in these races? They have to be beasts, too!
Jeez he can barely move his mouth 😭 this human being is utterly incredible
Thanks for watching Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
Skeptics: "You can run for 24 hours? I doubt it."
Goggins: "THEY DON'T KNOW ME, SON!!!"
Good
STAY HARD 🫡🫡
nice goggins
Bro did you hear how many kids 266 into college. Must been a grip of spec ops that passed away. Hit me when I got this part of his book and seeing that.
Guys when he run hes first Badwater 06, hes feets was broken before the race.
Here you can hear him say it, the second video is from the race and you can see the tape on hes feeds, enjoy.

How do they eat and go to bathroom?
Bro, goggins in third. Who the hell got first?????
VLADIMIR
Badwater means bathwater in Dutch lol.
Nietgoedwater
I can't run for 1.25 mile straight without panting hard and these guys at the top three just ran a straight 25 hours or something, crazy.
train train train and train. You can do anything with enough discipline. We believe in your Brother 💪🏽 Things are tough and painful but that pain vanishes at some point leaving only victory and pride 💪🏽💪🏽
Interviewer: "How was Death Valley for you, this year?" David:"It was, good. It was good"
Taking souls
Impressive third place at his age
Extremely impressive! And an improvement since the year before, he ranked 5th... against the best dedicated ultra runners on the planet!
even more impressive considering his weight, if he weighed as much as the 1st or 2nd place finishers im sure he would have smoked
@@anthonygroza1673 Exactly, this was whilst he was an active SEAL, weight training and being an all round badass too
What do you mean at his age?
@@martinvanburensleftsidebur5329 yeah he was like 30 then
Wait Third position who is on first and second position 😮
why’d he look like tyler the creator in the thumbnail 🤣💀
Imagine beating goggins in a ultra marathon
Imagine finishing before David Goggins....
Who are you son???
I’m 19 yo and the most I have ever run was 47min long 😅
Then where's the interview of the guy who came at first place..?
If he was 3rd then who was 1st
🙏🏼💜🙏🏼💜🙏🏼
Does he rest , sleep? Take breaks? Or anything like that man?
On the runs, he'll stop for refueling or toilet breaks. From memory, he rarely stops for sleep or rest whilst racing these distances 💪🏽💪🏽
Goggins is a badass himself, but ultramarathon runners in general are crazy like that. There are runners who run 40 hours at a stretch without a wink of sleep, insane
So who the hell came 1st
Imagine running for 25 minutes and 40 seconds
How much distance did he run
135 miles
@@jt9113 He actually went the wrong way and did about 10 extra miles I believe 💪🏽💪🏽 Some of the signs where removed by vandals
Stay hard
4th and 5th place guys all standing in the crowd with no special attention chairs to rest in.
There is no such thing as "bad" water for a Navy SEAL. Water is their egress. It is how they escape from danger.
The guy was FAT and finished 3rd at Badwater. Let that sink in
Whos going to carry the boats?
I don’t think you guys understand the context -- he’s not third place, he is the champion. This is a race that requires teammates, each ran a few miles / km , and then the next one continue, which ever team wins, wins. David Goggin has no teammate, he ran all by himself 💀
All true Brother, thanks for watching 💪🏾💪🏾
What if he is a AI clone ?
I love David goggins I always will. David and my family also , have pulled me out of the shit I drug my ass into. And the shit I had no part in that’s still coming. I wake up ready to be my best on my worst day.
Appreciate you watching and so glad his views resonate with you Brother 💪🏽💪🏽
Why is there a woman crying in the background?
Cause it's goggings in 3rd
