Overlanding in the MIddle East | Amazing Oman | Beaches - Deserts - Zero Gravity | Part 2

Overlanding the middle east was one of the most amazing experiences i have ever had the opportunity to do, the landscapes are vast, the distances to travel challenging certainly when there is no scenery to look at, vast open spaces of white sand and pretty much nothing else at all.
In this episode we try and relay the experience of crossing Oman, from the far north to the extreme south in a single day, you will get the picture i think, long open roads with endless views of...sand, sand and well more sand, until we hit the coast.
Finally after many long hours behind the wheel we hit the town of Salalah, far in the South of Oman to setup camp on one of the prettiest beaches i have camped at ever. Spending a few days exploring the local surrounds and getting a great feel of the locals. Coming from Africa we are always sceptical when being approached by people but Oman and it's people are nothing short of incredible. Everyone is super friendly and really want to get to know you and spend time with you by inviting you for tea and a chat, we had a few of these moments but didn't have time to do it as much as we would have liked to, a 3 hour tea break is what a usual tea stop with a local turns out to be, truly interesting people and a willingness to listen and learn about our country and us about theirs.
After getting some itchy feet at camp Gaily and i decided to go to some tourist things and visited a few places along the way, from fish markets to local tea spots and some temples and a place called zero gravity.

Salalha is amazing I explored the coast in a Fortuner 4 x 4 awesome weather average, temperature was 18 to 24 degrees once yo get to the coast compared to 42 degrees in Muscat and Saudi 💗
