When I was a kid we use to stand & balance ourselves walking/rolling on the spools for hours. So much fun!! Tried again for only seconds a few years ago as an adult … scared myself sh*tless 😂

Your yard is perfect to build raised garden beds for veggies. The kids would love to help grow their own food😃. Maybe put the pillows in the dryer to help with germs
When I was a kid a neighbor had those spools. We used them to run on top of them (like the log rolling competition). It was the hit of the neighborhood with all the kids! Oh by the way, this was before cable, internet and gaming 🤣

😸😸😸on using the blower to clean the truck, it works really well for spaces that are hard to get to with a vacuum. Also, we had bought a house that was very dusty, and once we pulled everything out I masked up and opened the windows and doors and went to work with a leaf blower. It did a great job to get the peaks of the ceilings especially.
I always did yard work for most of my married life. I love yard work.
I like mowing the lawn. I consider it exercise. Before my husband passed away three years ago I used to try to beat him out there so I could mow before he got to it. Lol. Please give your husband a message from me. I am half Italian and my mother was full-blooded Italian, and I can tell you how your husband made that chicken alfredo is exactly how I make it and my mom would’ve cooked it. Hats off to the chef.!! I also forgot to mention my husband loved to cook, and he did a lot of cooking on the weekends because I hate to cook. I despise cooking. My husband was also half Italian and I think he would agree with me that your husband’s makes great Alfredo.
Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. I like a mix of everything with your videos, they always brings me back. You never know what you might find on your channel and I’m sure a lot of subscribers feel the same way. I just love your channel and your content, how down to earth you are and how real your content is. ❤ I think a lot of people based house work based on gender roles, when in reality people can do the housework together as a team or switch gender roles. For example, women can do yard work, mow the lawn, etc. While men can do the inside of the house or they can tackle everything together as a team. I like that there is more teamwork with house work and switching roles in today’s society. ❤🥰🎨🎨

I buy the little bottle of Tide in the $1 aisle at Dollar General to use in my mopping ,I also use it to shampoo my carpets! The bottle lasts me a long time! 😊

My husband finally bought me a blower. I love it. I’ve been trying to get the leaves out of our yard. But I really have nowhere to put them. It’s going to be nice tomorrow. I might work on getting the leaves out of our backyard. I even bought the like big rake thing and gloves to pick up the piles along the fence. I can’t get the stupid leaves over the fence. We don’t really have a yard to cut. I think my husband is going to buy an electric lawn mower. We have patches of grass. He used to just use a weed eater. And by the end of summer our grass will die again. So he can go back to the weed eater. I use a broom and a dust pan a lot. My daughter got me a stick vac. And I used it to sweep almost my whole house. Now the battery is dead and I have to find the cord to recharge it.
You guys make a good team.. work very well together. Love to see family cooking together, it looked delicious. Great video.

Amazon sells some removable stakes you can put in the ground to help raise up your laundry line. I used them years ago when we cloth diapered, and they were a huge help!
I do all the yard work or hire it out - I love doing it and hate that as I age I can’t do it all…my craftsman like yours stopped working well after a year even with new batteries but I now use it around the house - I have 30 foot ceilings and high fans and for up above the cubbards - blows all the dust down for me to vac up…TFI ❤❤❤
When I was younger and able I spent a lot of time in the yard. My favorite things to do was to mow and weedeat and work in my flower beds and my flower pots. It was like therapy to me. I allways go through and pick up anything big before I vacuum. Because I can not afford to mess my vacuum up.I have about the same thing with My skin it's very sensitive. I have bumpy skin also alot of different things cause me too itch. And i have fibromyalgia and it causes you to get a bad itch to sometimes. I need to go back to My dermatologist i haven't been in a real long time.

I'm glad u shared about your skin issues. I have had the "chicken skin" on the backs of my arms and on my legs since I was a child, im now 45. I just assumed that it was the skin I was dealt with and it would always be that way

Love your videos. I love that you upload all different types of content on this channel, including the cleaning. May I make a suggestion when it comes to your kitchen island? If it always seems to catch all of the clutter, maybe you could put a low profile basket / tray to help contain everything that doesn’t actually belong there. At least it will appear to have a home temporarily. Just a suggestion.
Method brand has a good floor cleaner that will go a VERY long way...... really great on floors, no sticky residue & floor will shine! : ). I've had the same bottle of this Method floor cleaner for at least a year - - you only need a capful with the hot water & your O Cedar mop. : )

Girl I'm with you on the sensitive skin issues I have the same thing. I'm still having issues when I shave my legs with shaving cream and razors. I've tried so many different things. Love your yard BTW. I like doing yard work too.

I feel the same about Tide. I am allergic to most soaps. I did find a seal box of tide at Target and purchased just for cleaning.

Growing up my mom did the yard work. She enjoyed it and my dad farmed and usually worked until dark. So it worked for our family. I helped with the house and yard and my brother helped on the farm.

I love mowing and the fresh air is good for you…we hired a yard guy but he didn’t do as good of job as me so I got rid of him..the only thing is I stay outside way too long lol in Florida weather that’s not always good … lol looks great you do such a great job …❤

So funny because cooking is not my thing either. I can do everything else like you do but cooking... 😂 We use to eat out a lot but when I saw the monthly spending, I started forcing myself to cook lol anyway, when we do have the money we still eat out I just make myself cook a lot more 😅

They do sell the really small tide detergent . I don’t remember where I saw it but for sure if you go to a laundromat they sell it in their machines
Hack for you: use your powerwasher to clean your patio rug and furniture. If mildew grows on your cushion covers spray them with Tilex, then let sit a few hours then rinse really well with your powerwasher.

You mentioned your Keratosis Polaris and I just looked it up because it sounded like what I have and I never knew what it was called, and sure enough, it looks exactly like what I have on my skin! Thank you so much for sharing the name. I am 33 years old and never knew what it was! Please share some of the products you use for this. I just thought it was me and I would be stuck with it forever.
I use tide for my laundry and the floors. My husband works at a rock quarry and a lot of times he has to work on the equipment when it breaks so his clothes are always covered in rock dust and sometimes grease and oil. Plus I have 4 boys and they get really dirty and two of my boys are teenagers and boy does their clothes stink at times.

Karrie...using O'Cedar Mop reuses dirty water for you to wash your floors with. Libman has a bucket that is split. One side for clean water to rinse and the other side for the soap you like to use. I also use Libman's Wonder Mop. They made a brand new one with a scrubber pad. I love it. Arlene
Girl, you have really been putting out the videos! And I love it! I noticed when you bought that headboard and footboard that you didn't get the side rails and I wondered about that. I have just hooked the headboard on my existing frame with bolts and did away with the footboard in my small bedrooms. More room to get around the bed

Years ago I was away for work for a few days. We had hardwood floors and cats. My husband used our blower to blow floor debris out the front door!
In my home ,my husband and I do the yard work .I do the front and he do the back yard because that way he can do it whenever he wants ,and I make sure that the front yard always looks flawless😅You back yard it’s pretty large,you can extend your home.
I found this channel when we were all shut in our houses and love it but I subscribed mainly because of the DIY /decor side so if there was too much cleaning on it I wouldn't watch as much because it's not my thing no disrespect ❤ I love your makeovers you are so talented

Hi Karrie and Dylan You sure made super look delicious!! I always pushed mowed my yard so my daughter's could take turns doing the cutting with the lawn tractor. It took 4 hours to cut our grass but it was fun we really made it a fun job. You have a beautiful family, it's always nice to watch your channel. Have to say I have very bad allergies so I can never open my windows that would put me in the hospital because of all the pollen. I do like the fresh air and the clothes on the line just can't do it without being sick. I use All detergent and never change also. Have a great week I hope everyone is feeling better now. 🙏♥️🌴

Hi Karrie, I love your videos and I wanted to give you a little tip that our doctor gave our family he said whenever you have the flu or any infection you need to buy new toothbrushes at the dollar tree and change them as you get better I usually change them and at the end grab a new and this way your not spreading the same germs over and over.
