I purchased 7 totes to finish mine off, so I spent an additional $76 on the totes!
and closed the sides and back in for additional $60 totally not necessary !
I always try to be transparent about cost of projects because while some can be super affordable others cost a little more so I want you to know what you are getting yourself into ! 😊

Karrie, I want to thank you for all your D.I.Y. projects. I have always wanted a mailbox surround with a flower box on the sides. Well, I showed my hubby (we are retired) yours and he went to H.Depot, got the wood, and he made us one. It is beautiful and we have received many compliments by neighbors and friends. I think we need to build this tote frame too to straighten up our utility room. I may not do it myself, but my husband is great with this kind of thing. You are very inspiring even to him. TFS

Love it! Now buy yourself a rolling work bench so maybe you can stand and do some work. The squating and leaning over can stress your back. I know you want to be able to keep doing the projects into your 60s. 💕
That is AMAZING !!! One tiny helpful hint: I'd put some labels on those totes. I'd have to go through each one to know where anything was at. LOL !!!

I have a black kitchen, a black accent wall behind my bed and black wall in my bath room. It all looks Great. Oh and so does your storage.

Your encouragement is amazing I’ve been waiting for my husband to but up some hall closet shelves for ever and it’s still not done I get it he is tired because he works full time and he is our homeowner’s association president and people are always asking something of him so I get it but I’m going to take care of it today I’ve thought in my mind how it needs to be done I’ve looked at it and I’ve measured it so today is the day I have to go for it sis I’m scared but I’ve got to learn how to use his drill wish me luck 🍀 your will to get things done is incredible and your shed project has forced you to get this organizing project in the carport done ✅ thank you 🙏🏾

Black is best agreed makes it look a little more finished/polished/classy
I think it’s nice that you closed it and also because if you wanted to do something outside such as a party or something, you could flip it around and it would just look like a black box without your tote showing oh my gosh

Amen Sister! All by YO-SELLLLF! I remember how fun my first time using a nail gun was. KAPOW! KAPOW! POW!! Hahaha!
Put 2 screws in the holder 2x4's when attaching to the rack. That will make it much for sturdy and keep the rails from failing as you slide the totes in and out. Every place you attach a piece of wood will have play in it and allow movement if you use 1 screw, always use 2 screws to stabilize the join.

I seriously thought this was something you bought in the last video and thought it was such a great idea. I cannot believe you made that. I need to do something like this bc i took all of my holiday decor out of storage bc i was tired of spending $100 a month on it lol.

This was amazing. You gave me a headache with all the math. But it didn’t seem to bother you. I would have never attempted anything like this. But we could use it in a shorter version for our shed. It’s full of totes. And it would be great, and we could maybe fit more then. I will tell my husband about this and see what he says. I’m sure he could build it. We could use one in our office. It’s just a junk room. We live in a small house and have too much stuff.

I just had the same exact shelving built by a neighbor. He builds them for only $150. I told him he needs to charge more! It’s a lot of work . Good for you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 you make it look so easy. 😂😊 I am going to put casters on mine as well.

Great job👍🏼 I need to build one of these so I don't have to pull all the containers down to get the one at the bottom. So far my favorite black is called Tri-Corn black. I painted my cabinets in the master bathroom and it's a great true black.
