    You, by far, are the greatest SNC teacher I’ve ever followed. And you tips n tricks are simply icing on the cake. Thank you so much. I know the work, the time, the video editing and video recording take so much of your time.

    Great info! I've been thinking of getting a scanner for cutting images. I find that hand sanitizer works the best to clean my inky fingers.

    Thank you for posting another great informative video lesson for us. I am a newbie with my SNC, and your video lessons have taught me so much. I would be lost without your lessons to follow.

    I was able to buy a brother's scan and cut this year. I am so happy to have it however I haven't yet had the time to use it. I am a pet groomer with boarding . We have been so busy with the dogs that I just haven't been able to get to any or much of my crafting. I will be able to soon. I still enjoy your videos. I did watch a card video last night and I heard your voice j knew it was you. Fantastic

    Take your tape off at an angle, it helps there's less chance of it tearing the paper.

  • @lindafielder8344
    @lindafielder8344 Před 2 měsíci

    I use low tack Scotch tape to tape it down the edges, it doesn't get picked up by the machine.

    • @PaperedChef
      @PaperedChef  Před 2 měsíci

      Great, that works too. Low tack doesn't rip you paper.

    I use a bit of Pixie Spray to get the corners down firm.

    • @PaperedChef
      @PaperedChef  Před 2 lety

      I need to try that. I have tried stencil spray which may be similar but that was for the whole paper. I went outside first, sprayed, let it get a little tacky and then it stuck. I am quite annoyed with sprays inside of my house but a crafter has to survive. Thanks Elizabeth.

    I love your channel and have learned so much about how to use my scan n cut. I used to be a stampin up demonstrator a LONG LONG LONG time ago. I have a massive collection of wooden block stamp sets. Do you know a good way to or do you have a tutorial to convert these so they can be used on acrylic instead or do you think this is a bad idea…. I’m loving those monthly sets too - just saw another vid you did on those and now I’m wanting to sign up for those too. I feel like I need to get rid of some of my old sets……. Ha ha ha 😂 I just can’t though I love all of them!

    I just now found your site- What is the gray mat called that you use in the "Cutting Stamped Sediments" youtube?

  • @janecameron7498
    @janecameron7498 Před 2 lety +1

    Great video highlighting how to cut layers. Do you have any advice for me regarding my scan n cut not cutting through the cardstock fully….even when I run it through twice. The mat is stick and I have a new blade, I’m using normal cardstock and SU card. Nothing cuts out properly. Thanks.

    • @PaperedChef
      @PaperedChef  Před 2 lety +2

      Jane, sometimes you think you are replacing the right blade and then it is a bit shorter. That happened to me. If you are using the blade which came with the machine, try sharpening it. You can also increase the pressure. Keep doing test cuts until you get your settings right and then write it down. Here is a video about the blades. czcams.com/video/tjuhKAsURIc/video.html
