My motto is quit early and quit often so I'm with you Anwar. I just did this after dating a guy for almost 3 months were he was very enthusiastic and consistent the first half and then very unreliable the second half. Two months after I blocked him he mailed me a letter and then last week (4 months after I blocked him) he left me a voicemail asking me to tell him why I don't want to see him anymore. He should have KTSE when he had my undivided attention. I don't exert energy telling grown men why I don't want to see them anymore, I can only be as serious and considerate as they've been.
If you're not engaged or married after two years? Two years down the drain.

It was tough but I had to let him go as soon as I started dating him. The red flag for me was silent treatment and not resolving conflict with communication as a grown adult is expected to. It was the making assumptions and allowing misunderstandings to pile up for me. These decisions are hard bc u recognize someone's trauma is preventing them from loving u fully, but that's never an excuse for poor behavior. Get help.
