Omg! Thank you so much for explaining this dilemma. I've had multiple relationships with "mid ugly men" lol, who have always felt like I was their competition when I am complimented. Which led to other problems, smh. I have had people tell me that I was too attractive for the guy and I could do better. However, I am a sapeosexual, which speaks to my choice in mid-ugly men. But, the attractive men also feel like they are in competition and feel like they are the prize 😩. It also doesn't help being a black woman with a high level degree. Lawd, I just want to be happy. 😂
