🔥I always wanted to make my own product and be able to sell it. This time I show you how to prepare the PCB in a panelized form, use the SMD stencil to apply paste, add all te components one by one and reflow the entire panel at once.

Try to use additional masking trafaret for precise positioning of parts on surface of pcb. It can be helpful for small chips like bga or qfn

Also i recomend to use heat owen instead of bottom heater, because plastic connectors can smelt due to overheat from bottom

I have an idea for you.. 3D print a tray that allows you to place the SMD parts in upside down (heights of each section will need to be lower or higher so that the parts sit level at the top (bottom of the parts)). The tray will also need some kind of alignment slot for the pcb. Add solder paste to board. lower pcb upside down onto upside down parts (everything should be aligned).
Then you can turn the entire tray over and lift the tray off of the PCB with the parts still in place on the PCB.
There might even be enough 'stickiness' to the solder paste that you can use a system to lower the PCB and then raise it again with the parts still stuck to it.

Amazing video as always . It would be intresting to turn an old 3d printer into a pick and place, make an automatic 3d printed feeder for the smd components, and make some sort of 3d printed jig in order to perfectly place the stencil. Also you can make a pcb with pads in order to automate the testing process

Hey buddy, great video, you can use an Arduino and a couple of cd4016/cd4066 to short the pads individually. Then by reading the o/p voltage using Arduino, you can automate the entire testing process.

Hi great person, I want to know why you have not chosen V cut to make the panel. This V cut would have utilized the wastage space between pcb to fill more pcbs. I normally do this Vcut option to make more pcbs in 100x100 restriction with JLC pcb. This Vcut option is available with easyeda.

@@ELECTRONOOBS Maybe for other people, but you have a knack of making things as simple as possible and simplifying your designs by using ready-made modules. e.g. if you make a clever self-aligning 4-sided mechanical gripper for SMD resistors then you will avoid the need for machine vision which would be necessary for correcting the positions of crookedly picked up resistors.
