Blaire, I'm not trans or homosexual but I have a lot of friends who are and I find your information very helpful! One thing that makes me so angry is that the statistics about bottom surgical transitioning are so off. Hearing that hardly anybody regrets the surgery just can't be right. How would one figure out what the true statistics are of those who lose their ability to have sexual pleasure or orgasm anymore? Sex isn't everything but when you're young, it seems just so tragic that you can't have that part of your life anymore!!

@@CassidyStarke Thank you for getting back to me. Sexuality, sexual identity and identity in general are, for some reason, closely linked, identified, whatever, with genitalia, be it male or female. There are many expressions in probably all languages linking bravery, honesty and power to genitals, especially male genitals. The word "testify" is related to "testicle"; ancient Romans used to take oaths or make promises while holding on to their balls. I kid you not. Similarly, a woman who cannot conceive, who is "barren", is looked upon as a lesser person, traditionally that is, than one who is "fertile" and can bear children.
One of the things I have noticed about transgender women on CZcams is that they will talk endlessly about breast enhancement, facial and cosmetic surgery of all kinds, as well as endless make-up tips and hand bag content. Transgender women are, however, generally quiet about being "pre-op" and "post-op" and view it as an invasion of privacy, an infringement, when asked about it by guys they meet.

And then after literally several multiple procedures you’re done. But really there’s no going back. If anything there MIGHT be I think it said, but never the same like it was. So yeah, it’s a crazy decision(I mean in terms of complication risk), a very serious decision to make even IF you are financially ready. In a way, never talking about it makes it taboo. Not everyone has to talk about it, absolutely not, and nobody should be obsessed with what other people have in their pants. But if some people accept to answer the question when it is asked, it won't be a taboo. I personally think that you can ask all questions you want if the formulation is polite, if you don't ask it in a place that is not appropriate for the topic, and if you respect that the person doesn't want to answer. If people can't ask some questions, they will try to find the answer another way that sometimes isn't pleasant at all, like asking other people, talking about someone behind their backs, trying to look for clues, etc. Because we know that people are intrigued by what they're not supposed to do or ask. If they know they can ask the question, sometimes they don't even bother asking.

Nonhomosexual transitioners of either sex should never have GRS. Look, the classic Western male profile of nonhomosexual transitioner is a middle-aged, married, masculine man with no chance of passing on a dark night in the rain, who has a paraphilia called Autogynephilia. 80% remain fully heterosexual after the surgery. This person will not use the neovagina for the purpose intended. Intalling one is a sop to their delusion. How could any such person be 'fulfilled'? They lopped off a functioning organ that they used and replaced it with a facsimile of one they never will. And the lunacy is even worse for nonhomosexual female transitioners, who are heterosexual women who have their breasts and entire reproductive systems removed and are encouraged in this by venal 'professionals '. Gaah the stupid is like treacle.
Male HSTS (eg Blaire) are different. If they have GRS they will use the neovagina. They orgasm through it and while nobody knows whether it feels the same as a woman's, they don't seem to complain. I have yet to hear a verifiable HSTS express regret.

Reflect on why you wish to be a male and make sure it's not rooted in sexual or other abuse, memories of being shamed/rejected for female traits, rewarded for exhibiting male traits. Make sure you address any wounds if they exist. You'll be giving up your ability to have biological children and increase health risks, so make sure this is really what you want. It’s not gonna be like 100% the same thing. It’s going to hurt, it’s going to be expensive, and it’s going to have several risks.
What’s in my pants is going to only be seen by myself and my partner, whose not going to mind because they love me for me.

The reality of a whats quite essentially (or least often) called a vaginoplasty (it's I believe clinical name) is about using the foreskin not sure about reversing it and using the inside of it rather though but it is especially about the reconnection the blood vessels its how an organism is achieved variably some of them don't ever reconnect back up though its a highly skilled operation (akin to that though they're entirely different things a Whipple it's sort of more common name for people who contract Pancreatic cancer since it's though about not just that reconnection of blood vessels but the bile ducts ontop of that).
The reality is it's not just for trans people either there's at least a few other reasons like say the rectum goes into (a form of I suppose hernia) that part of the abdomen who sometimes require that or some form of trauma.strictures (narrowing of a sort of form of tube like is common with Ileo Pouch surgery can happen with this kind of surgery as well) as well as fistula's tunnels of tissue where they've not filled in properly naturally post op when fluid runs through them and I know for a fact (since I had a few at least exposed nerves due to the bowel shrinking it was the most unbearable pain imaginable), from a fistula abcesses are a huge risk as well.

I totally agree with you. I had my face fixed and saving for my boob surgery. I had forehead , rhinoplasty, mini lip lift and tracheal shave, later fillers in my cheeks and lips. I was getting lasered for a year to get rid of my facial hair. I felt like I was turning i to the warewolf, so I had to become as feminine as possible. I am not afraid of the full surgery. Just want to be able to wear short skirts comfortably. I don't expect it to fix everything and I am definitely not going to miss the part of my body which genuinely makes me very uncomfortable. In the UK it is free, but the quality is not as great as from private doctors. FFS however was £ 25000 I took out as a loan. The boob surgery is subsidised and costs around £5000.

Thank you. My best friend rushed into marriage because all her friends were. She's on her 2nd husband whose a selfish jerk. We all told her she didn't need to get married but since we all were she had to. It's so stupid I never planned to get married hence why I ended up eloping. I didn't want the drama I just wanted the guy.

There ain't many trans girls out there who I can relate to, but you've been an inspiration for me for quite a long time now. However, I may have to add my 2 cents on this topic, cuz I feel like this surgery was somehow projected as "doing more harm than good stuff".
I had SRS 20 months ago in Thailand, at a place thats well known for its good SRS results, not anywhere near 30k$ tho, maybe like a half of that, but I gotta tell you this surgery really changes your life for good, if you REALLY wanted it. Yes, its risky (not the surgery itself nowadays, more like the recovery which indeed takes a lot), you may or may not have complications (I did, I had to stay in Thailand 37 days, and when I got back to Romania, I had one more year of struggles with UTIs and yeast infections, which are sometimes there within the first year). I did go thru the worst pain of my life but I swear to God it's been nothing but fulfilment. It was my journey but in the end I am at peace with my own body, I dont have to hide anything, I can go to the beach with no worries, I look at myself and I finally look how I should've been born. Sexual pleasure is ok too, and I feel like even today's technology, is enough for providing good results. I totally get the need of facial feminisation surgery, I started with that one as well, but don't reject the idea of getting SRS. It may not "change your family situation, job situation, social situation" etc. but it surely does change the way you're feeling with your own self as a woman and also cuts off a lot of HRT.
Good luck anyway! You're the only one who knows if that's what u want or neah

You clearly wanted it and it mattered to you, while Blaire was very clear in saying that said she doesn't really want it and it doesn't matter to her.
Her whole point was that people do this thinking it's always validating and that everything will be better for them. I'm happy for you but your experience was shaped by the fact that this truly mattered to you. Most people are pressured to think that this should matter to them, you yourself even imply that it WILL 100% make anyone feel more womanly just because it did for you. You're positive experience doesn't mean people shouldn't be educated about the statical risk of post-op depression.

@@NortonTaylor if you really have gender dysphoria and you don't like that part of your body, there's no way you can be depressed post-op. Problem here is that people have weird expectations from any kind of surgeries, whether its FFS, BA or SRS. You gotta be ok with yourself before getting any kind of surgery. People who actually regret SRS are people who either were not trans to begin with (as happened with SRS victims in the XXth century), or people who unfortunately had MAJOR complications which probably made their life miserable, resulting in pain or no sensation (which is kinda rare these days too, especially at very good surgeons).

The surgery is not only expensive it can also cause a lot of complications.....As a woman ..it's hard just having a gyno appointment can be uncomfrtable. A trans woman will have to dialate her body there for a long time..Your rearranging your parts so there's risks of all kinds of infections ..I'm not anti trans but I am against people under 18 having any surgeries due to psychological and physical complications.Thank you Blair for your honesty..You and Alexis Blake are the best to talk about the trans journey..and are lovely people.Take care
