I think it's just a term for people who don't feel as feminine/masculine as their peers of the same gender all days of the week.
Some people may think labeling that feeling is necessary, others don't.
So I do think the FEELING does exist. Even if actually switching sex/gender daily isn't possible.

Also it's normal for people to crave masculine energy and feminine energy. This is also liked to the foods you eat and the daily habits you do, I personally crave masculine energy hence why I love watching car videos and mechanic videos.

What's so damaging about that mentality is that this has only recently started. I'm not straight and growing up I knew it was gonna be some bullshit I had to deal with. I did what every other normal person should do and kept my sexuality to myself and told people in my close circle and had relationships with the people I wanted to (even though I had the internal struggle that all non-straight people have).
Now people forget what it was like to struggle with their sexuality. I am happy for the actual gay, lesbian, and bi kids growing up today that have a little more acceptance in the world but it makes a mockery of the whole thing when dumbasses like Trisha Paytas and Jessica Yaniv are running around on their bullshit.
