Dr Swamy persists with his Abolish Personal Income Tax solution in a country that has the greatest income inequalities and wealth concentrations . He has not explained either how the highly regressive transaction tax can meet the dramatically underinvested governance cost in defence, education, scientific research etc. He is just politicking. And is he one bit serious about the Chinese regime's intent and goal ?He simply harks back to an earlier temporary diplomatic phase of the CCP. Before and after that, the Chinese have swallowed territory, supported Pak terror and frustrated India at every opportunity.

Ever since Subramanyam Swamy stepped in to derail the SSR case (to save the Maharashtra CM's gaddi and son too) i have doubted Dr. Swamy credibility and integrity towards the nation. I respect the viewpoints of Rajivji. The Government has so many things on its plate and it has to juggle priorities especially in a democratic country like India where there is election every few months and staying politically relevant is of utmost importance. It is not fair to rely on Government to do all things. I request Rajivji to start a venture that does work on AI and this would be more beneficial while in parallel continuing his awesome efforts to raise this issue at the higher levels.
I think Rajivji must talk to younger leaders like Tejasvi Surya, Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore as they will be more receptive than the senior leaders who naturally will not understand the gravity.
Scary scenario. Why are our governments, Hindu public so lazy as to not even examine the matter? Adopting AI comes later. While IT Ministry makes tough rules to regulate OTT, social media and digital media, through JIO they have already taken India on lease. Indian government is gloating about the FDI last year without knowing how google can manipulate Indian minds through JIO.
I wonder how long will india remain truly independent?

I think we need not so much worry about the activities of the aasuric people. The whole system of dharma will work at the right time. The Kaala itself will destroy all the powers of the aasuric people at the right time which nobody can imagine.
The message of the Bhagavad Gita was so potent, so timely, so cogent. But we chose not to commit ourselves to Bhagavan Krishna's counsel. Hence our decline and our trials tribulations and trauma over a millennium, which has not been exhausted. Dharma has to be rightly grasped and adhered to.

AI is moving so fast, awareness is key. Reliance seems to have given control of data to Google. Government and regulators have to get on the case asap. The national interest is at risk. Such joint ventures must be either outlawed or the agreement made strongly accountable to independent bodies and/or cross party commissions. Google would ultimately look to take over companies like Reliance. Keeping smart control over corporations is very important, without being too protectionist. Looks like all these social media companies are in their information gathering stage, amassing as much data as possible. As Rajiv ji said, this big data could be used to profile every single persons' beliefs, values, philosophies etc. Sounds like science fiction, but just look at the CZcams recommendations you get. You can see the algorithms at work trying to identify your characteristics.

How many monitors are monitoring these machines(A I algorithms and the entire paraphernalia) and who is monitoring "these human monitors who are developing superhuman AI in almost all spheres and are there any checks and balances or are they allowed to run amok in the name of AI technology???? AI should be allowed only to explore outer space and medical advancement/prevention interception and cures. AI seems to have become the new age nuke which is not in control and is ubiquitous and a deterrent only for the overpopulated and developing nations so the vast human capital would need mass BASIC A I LITERACY in addition to their subject specialization and to learn the tricks to outsmart AI is the greatest challenge and think multisteps ahead.
AI is only as powerful as the trust we have in them. No AI modeling is good enough to see through the patterns of the future.
There is no AI for insight and intution. But the real concern is how do we create an environment where individuals pause and think for themselves instead of subscribing to the "crowd".
Once we have a "correct" number of such individuals in a society, AI will be put back to it's original position of helping society instead of being used as weaponry.

Mr Rajiv Malhotra, can you please consider investigating the dollar $ value of Indian Citizen’s data to the US (Amazon, FB, Instagram, Netflix)? It’s impact? As you may know Facebook has an AI that creates a profile of its users which they can later use to predict how they will behave to a certain information. When deployed for an entire country they can know how a certain US policy will be received and how the masses will behave.

If India is falling behind so far from China, would it not be wise to join in with US who is not far behind and act in a joint manner to counter imminent threat from China and their foot soldiers in Pakistsn? So if AI n Google is trying to read us maybe one way of fighting it is to start fooling it. Do absolutely opposite things online. Since we can't stop using it until we have an indigenous data protected system. Maybe an app can be made to do opposite actions in the background and this way some protection can be got. Starting from search engine history we can work out the other parts like physical tracking etc.
After computerisation, I ,as an Indian in UK,have got easier access to services because you can now bypass racist staff who did everything they could to make it difficult for you

Some of the commenters believe Yoga will defeat AI, others are praying for Jai Shri Ram, or that Vedanta will defeat AI, still others are angry at Pakistan and China and some are plain angry at AI itself. This requires a deep left brain thinking with logic and reasoning. Most Indians have a believing feel good goodly right brain that they have developed with Bhakti, pooja etc that they think will work in the real world and every situation. This flawed thinking is what is leading to ignoring rather than harnessing this wonderful technology of AI by India.
Rajiv Malhotra Ji, Subramanyam swami and other people you met are good in understanding Breaking India 1.0 and doing their best in waking up people of India, but may be they are not good in understanding AI, please do not mention their names and do not get discouraged.
