      Hey dude. I just wanted to say that you should not orient your CPU cooler that way. you DO NOT want the lines which connect to the radiator to be above the CPU pump unit. This ends up with air settling at the end of the lines in the radiator and your pump will suck that air in and it will ruin the pump over time. For someone who claims to know about PCs this is pretty bad advice.

    • @edgyy7799
      @edgyy7799 Před 3 lety +5

      @@haze657 as this is a high end aio, this doesn’t actually matter the pump will not suck in air. The only problem you could have is air getting trapped at the top of the rad which can cause a little bit of noise

The case itself has no sharp edges. It is nice and compact enough to fit on my desk with 2 ultra-wide monitors. 10/10 would recommend.

    I built my PC in the same case (black) 2 weeks ago. The big difference is that I have installed my 280 AIO watercooling on intake (pull) so the fins get fresh air from the outside. And as I have installed 2 120mm intake fans at the bottom that push fresh air directly on my GPU, it isn't affected by the hot air from the watercooling. I have 2 140mm fans at the top and one 120mm fans at the back for the exhaust and it is fine like that.

    Bottom and back fans : Deepcool CF120
    Top fans : BeQuiet Pure Wings 2 140 (from the AIO originally but I swapped themp for aethetical reasons)

    thank you very much for this video!! so much great info to help me prepare for my build.
    I have seen some others sort of 'custom mount' their 360 AIO Cooler to act as exhaust on the top of the case(where you had put your exhaust fans)...then also using the side mount(where you put your 240AIO) to put 3 intake fans for more intake fans than exhaust.
    My question to anyone is... is one configuration necessarily "better" than another? Or are there any preferences when it comes to having more/less intake than exhaust fans? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

    • @daviniarobbins9298
      @daviniarobbins9298 Před rokem

      Pull is better or push having the fans on the other side of the radiator. I heard there can be a 8 degree difference on radiators pulling air through the radiator to pushing hot air through out the case. Not sure there is any benefit to having a push/pull set up.
      Also he has the fans set to negative pressure which will cause more dust to enter the case. Should be either balanced(equal intake and exhaust) or positive(more intake than exhaust).

    That negative air pressure, the AIO will not be doing all that well its fighting for air flow and the entire setup will be sucking in massive dust through the back of the case....DO not do this you are going to get poor thermals due to vortexing airflow in the case. In this config- Top Mount -3x Exhaust , Side mount - 2x Intake, Bottom - 3x Intake, Back Mount - 1x Exhaust. If you want it too look pretty invest in some "reverse blade" fans for the bottom and the side, If you are watercooling EKWB makes a distro plate for the front but the fans on the side will have to be mounted on the backside so you have the room in the 7 slot config. Also SFX PSU, the ASUS ROG Loki 850watt Plat is perfect for this case, the only cable I could see being a problem would be the 600watt GPU12pin connector as you do not want a sharp bend in the wiring.

    How are the temps with the different side panel as apposed to a more "normal case" that has the fans face the components

      Its a little warmer than high airflow cases, like only a few degrees

      Depends on the setup, the fans you choose, the size of them 120/140mm ect.
      Just built in this case from a phanteks p400s.
      My chipset alone sits roughly 10° lower when gaming in this case vs the p400s.
      Everything else sits lower as well but the chipset is the most significant, everything else sits 5-8° lower.
      That being said I only have two fans on all sides top/bottom/rear. Still have room for a rear fan, bottom 120/140mm and a top 120/140mm. So in theory temps may be even better once those are installed.
      For a liquid cooling based case, the air cooling is fantastic. And I have no liquid in it at all.

      Temps are bad lol, i sold this case because of that, your AIO should be mounted as intake but that wouldn't look good so by using it as a exhaust temps get worse.
