I was kind of expecting more eshop exclusive games. You can find most of these as ROMS already
How much money would it cost to buy everything here… and if you had that amount of money would you really spend that money on games that are 10+ years old. I’m just saying the “alternative” is always cheaper. Though I can’t talk much since I’m pretty sure I own over half of these physically.

Wario ware gold is a great game to pick up and play when you just need to kill some time

5:20 For the record, Fire Emblem Fates was delisted back in February 28 in Japan and Europe (so as to prevent pressuring players onto rushing through the game last-minute for the DLC). The American eShop still has it because they make separate executive decisions I guess.

And if Nintendo gets mad, you could always argue that they have no right to complain since titles like Xenoblade Chronicles X aren't being sold by Nintendo anymore, and they can't argue that they lost sales and profit since there aren't any avenues for them to make money anymore with Xenoblade Chronicles X.

Two things:
1. I have physical copies of Wii U and 3DS titles, but because I like preserving the hardware in its original state, I haven’t hacked them and can’t make digital backups of the copies I purchased. Sailing the high seas is the only way I can have a digital backup on my PC.
2. Nintendo isn’t manufacturing any more physical copies of Wii U or 3DS titles anymore, so they’re not making any profits off of the ones being sold as used.
I have watched so many eShop closure videos in the past week to make sure I wasn’t missing anything, and you’re the first to mention the Xenoblade Chronicles X data packs

I have 20th anniversary Pokémon 3Ds and downloaded all the mainline Pokémon games a long with Sun and Moon/ORAS Demo for the exclusive Pokémon (Ash Greninja, etc).
It’s definitely gonna make my 3Ds the ultimate Pokémon machine
OK but NOBODY'S talking about HOW you get Ash Greninja. I downloaded the pokemon demo cuz the eshop says you get it(Along with other"Team mates" that ash has from the Pokemon XYZ show? Whatever THAT vague azz crap means smh) But HOW??? Is Ash Greninja a starter? Do u have to catch him in the friggin wild? What about the other stuff the other stuff you get from the demo? Will the main game sense that you have the demo and automatically give it to you? HOW??? Would ANYONE with a brain care to EXPLAIN the whole process???

These Laserdisc games are currently available on the 3ds Eshop.
Most of these videos are stuck on AAA titles, but there is a lesser know series that I fell in love with is Silver Falls. These games expand 3DS,Wii U, and Switch. With only a solo developer making these games was incredible before the end and each game is a different play style worth getting them. Also the series is continuing on the Switch.

Great video. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is another one i recommend if anyone likes Fire Emblem. FE is the only JRPG series i like but radiant historia just hit me the right way too. its more traditional but still very unique and expensive physically!

Yokai watch 3 new is listed for $300+ so if you like Yokai watch then make sure to buy it before the closure

Also the Yokai Watch games take up quite a bit of memory when you download them so be sure that you have enough memory for them.
I haven't gotten Yokai Watch 2 Psychic Spectors yet as I own the original version of it but the memory requirements to own them hurt a lot!
At least I found my Shin Megami Tensi Strange Journey Redux game in time to download the free dlc off that one too!

I feel like the best games the buy are the ones who are of franchises that need the support. Yo-kai watch is one of them because they aren't as popular in the west.
I happened to get fire emblem, awakening, and echoes physically for a better deal on eBay than the E shop, and I managed to get Warriors for the new Nintendo 3DS off of Amazon for $16 brand new. I’ve still got a lot of items on my wish list to buy still…

Thank you for this guide, to tell the truth, i didn't pay this any mind when i bought the physical versions of Dragon Quest VII and Dragon Quest VIII on 3DS a couple of days ago, thank god i got them in time (there's also the matter that for UK fans, the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII was the only version we ever got, we didn't get the PS1 original in the UK) Thanks for all the help buddy i really appreciate it :)

I would add Game & Wario to the list. It’s stupid expensive right now for a disc but you can download it for $30. I downloaded it and am going to wait a month to see where prices are at before I sell my copy.
brah i just bought , red/blue/gold/silver/crystal (however gold/silver crystal were download boxes that I needed to use the codes!) as you have said just for transfers later if I play the swtich.

Also, ORAS and SunMoon have a special demo with a pokemon only obtainable there
If you want games but just can't get them due to price you can always mod your Nintendo 3ds but if you do be careful but I have a modded 3ds and I would say it's definitely worth it to get all the games you want without the price

Luckily gotten every fire emblem ( beside the dlc) and every Pokémon game along with the gb games you guys recommended Luigi mansion talking about the game cube one already have dark moon
you forgot to mention transporter is also the only legit way to move over pokemon from the ds games to bank to home. I think bank is a get buy for everyone even tho you might not be into pokemon. Every Ds with bank and transporter installed will go up in price for sure.

Damn everyone's opinions saying that modding is easy... i just looked up one way to do it and there's like a 100 friggin steps! That's NOT what i call EASY plus i think you need a desktop computer(which i don't have)so screw all that imma just get a Steam Deck and EASILY emulate whatever i don't get b4 the eshop closes.🤦🤷

If are a fan of Yo-Kai Watch, or are just getting into the series, I suggest you buy Yo-kai Watch 3, Yo-kai Watch Blasters Red Cat Corps or White Dog Squad, and Yo-kai Watch 2 Psychic Specters. These are the most expensive physical Yo-kai Watch games, especially Yo-kai Watch 3, so buy them when you still can!
I was on the fence about Yokai Watch 3 cause everything about it looked & sounded so cool, but I saw a Let’s Play video on it and it seems to takes forever to build up and actually do anything. Please prove me wrong, it still looks cool

PC, one moment I am coming out of the settings screen on my 3DS in 2015, the next my 3DS micro SD got corrupted. All save files GONE.
My hard earned Fire emblem awakening files, GONE! Most of the music files were gone.
All that work GONE on most games like Resident evil revelations 1.
Just back up your save files once in awhile like every month to make sure. Your game saves, your purchases.
It’s so messed up that they shut off the button early to transfer funds. I didn’t get paid until very late on Thursday and now I can’t get anything on the 3DS.
Are your Nintendo account and NNID linked? You can merge your digital wallet and add funds (in admittedly inconvenient increments) to your Nintendo account that you can use on the 3DS or Wii U eShop.
These things are inevitable! You dunce! These console shops are always going to be shut down at some point! The eShop has been open for over a decade and you still can't find the time and money to buy the games you wanted lmao

Fire Emblem Fates are not available at the eShop since the last week or first week of March. Nintendo delisted them already
This is only for Nintendo Europe and Nintendo Japan, they are still available on Nintendo North America eShop. Allegedly executives in Japan and Europe wanted to avoid making players feel the need to rush out and big buy games last minute. Thankfully not the case for us North Americans as I was able to buy Echoes a few minutes ago which is a game I very much wanted to get but haven't gotten around to yet

I found it disappointing I bought a 20$ card to download some 3ds games before the store closed but it wouldn't let me add the card to the 3ds. So I added it to the switch and used it there.

While you don’t have to buy Smash digitally you do at least have to worry about the DLC characters, stages and other DLC which won’t be available once the shops close. Ultimate has nearly all of that but the characters do play a bit differently than in Smash 4.

I just bought it yesterday and bought echoes a few minutes ago. I believe it only got took down extra early in Europe and Japan. Allegedly the executives in Nintendo Japan and Nintendo Europe didn't want players to feel pressured to buy the games last minute. The old Wii Shop Channel for the original Wii and the Wii U's Virtual Wii closed a number of years ago. The Wii U eShop has been up the whole time but is closing Mar 27th.

@@williejohnson1732 The Wii U eShop is still up until Mar 27th. You just can't add funds directly anymore. If you link your Wii U's NNID to a Nintendo Account, any money you add to your Nintendo Account will show up and be available for use on the Wii U eShop.
You can add money to a Nintendo Account on a Switch or the Nintendo website.

@@gamerRN112 If you get either of the Persona Q games, get the second one. It’s better in every way. Both Dragon Quest games on the 3DS are good (I hear), but if you’ve never played DQ VIII, it’s a masterpiece (even though I personally prefer the PS2 version for the OST alone). I hear the DLC for the Fire Emblem games on the platform are absolutely insane, I’ll just stick to Engage and Three Houses thank you very much, lol

Well it sucks but from a business perspective, probably holding cost of a legacy service that is costing more money to store on servers as inventory than the rate they are selling software.

Just sail the seven seas and mod your consoles. It'll save you hundreds of dollars 'cause some games cost a boatload of money.
No joke btw, some games will actually run you *double* the amount you payed initially. Depending on the game you may end up paying over the hundreds just because of how much DLC was released for a game.
Also, regardless if you actually want to mod your system or not make sure you get a bigger memory storage unit. Both the 3DS and Wii U have pitiful storage capacity when bought fresh.
The 3DS has a whopping 2GB or 4GB depending on which model you get and when you bought it while the Wii U has 8GB for standard models (White Wii U's) and 32GB for deluxe models (Black Wii U's).
