We started a series of checking each song from The Warning's concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene".

This is what we call Cheerleader Punk! To record the scream, Dany went into a room and turned off all the lights. She said she scared herself a bit!

*P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. I AM Fun Facts:*
1) The capital letters with periods between the letters means nothing to the song. Dany said it was cool looking.
2 ) The laugh in the beginning was Pau. Pau was laughing in the studio that was captured on tape. Later, the band thought the song needed something else. They decided to put that laugh there. That laugh & Dany's "rollercoaster" scream (Dany's scream was recorded for another QotMS song & again they felt the song needed something else) is on their backing track. Pau does scream live when they closed their shows with *Evolve.*
Hey Guys! This is THE Cheerleader Punk Anthem!! When they play it live, Pau says, "I want to see everybody jumping!" And we DO!
I love this song. A total banger. On another note, did you see the backdrop - all made and controlled by Pau. She's not only a super drummer, singer, composer, lyricist, firecracker, with more. She is also the band tech guru. Of course, they have now more crew members that can help with that, but back then...Ale is killing it on the bass and the "chear leader" backing vocals - Of course, Dany is as wonder/powerful as ever and plays the part showing on her facial expression as getting more and more crazy.
After listening to your catalog of music, I had a strong feeling you guys were going to like this one. Cheerleader punk. The Ramones approved.
So in the Florida concert they are opening for Guns n Roses. They are opening for them twice later this year. Probably sold out. They opened for GnR last year.
Who ever thought a punk rock murder spree with cheerleaders could be so much fun? "Will you jump from the window or hang from the noose?" This one is full of diabolical lines. I'm pretty sure the scream was Pau, recorded unintentionally when she screamed at a bug or something. They decided to keep it. (Not being condescending here, she really hates bugs. Pau and Ale were doing a live Instagram from the tour bus last year when Pau spotted a large bug on the ceiling. Much chaos ensued. Better than a sitcom. 😅😅😅
If I remember right they've said in a vlog or interview somewhere that it was Dany who did the scream in a dark room, and she actually scared herself doing it!

@@Sly.L It was a darkened recording studio room. Pau and Ale were in the adjacent room with the lights off as well and said it was extremely creepy!

No it's not disrespectful, we all describe this legendary track as 'Cheerleader Punk' so don't worry.
I saw them live in L.A. 3/23. Wow......the energy never stops. I have never seen a band take so little time in between songs. i will see them live as many times as I can.

“R.A.M.O.N.E.S, R.A.M.O.N.E.S, Ramones!” A nod to Motörhead’s nod to the Ramones? Great punk rock.
The feel is so upbeat for such a dark subject. That's the secret of The Warning. Nothing predictable about them. Yes, their music reminds you of other bands, but there is always a twist, and they blend so many other things together that it feels fresh even after you've heard it a gazillion times.
And everyone tends to be reminded of different bands. Oftentimes the girls have not even heard of some of the bands mentioned! 😊 For myself I hear bits and pieces of various bands or sometimes just familiar sounds, but the overall song ends up just sounding like The Warning!
Sadly, I haven’t seen tickets for less than $600 for the Hard Rock show in Florida due to GnR as the headliner. I’m holding out hope they’ll schedule an additional date while in SE Fl. The friends and family I’ve turned onto TW could almost fill a smaller venue! Great job guys!
The GnR prices are literally insane. As much as I'd love to see them and The Warning together... that's just not even remotely reasonable. Hard "nope" for me. I'll catch The Warning elsewhere, and just... listen to GnR albums on my car stereo. Screw that.
It’s just that Hard Rock venue. I contacted their management about the huge difference in pricing between their site and Ticketmaster and was pretty much told to pound sand. The Knoxville TN show sells for $130. If I could get 2 days off from work, I’d go north.
Once you are done with Lunario, they do have acoustic versions of these songs on their CZcams channel.
The Florida show is opening for GNR I do believe.

I've been saying it for more than three years now, and I'm gonna say it again: Cheerleader Punk rulez! Easily my favorite song on the album and Dany really knows how to sell it.
I don´t know why but among all influences I come to think of the all girl group The Plastiscines, mainly their album "About Love". I wonder if the girls listened to them!? P.S.Y.C.O.T.I.C. is another fine TW song. A masterpiece and it shows the talent they have when it comes to song writing and arrangement. One of my favorite songs. Like always you do a great reaction!
This song is definitely cheerleader punk, but it also gives me strong My Little Pony vibes for some reason. The chanting just reminds me a lot of what some of the background vocals were like on that show lol.

Also like the punk attitude in this song, since Green Day and the Offspring played a huge role in my youth. Learned playing guitar with their songs 🎸
Also saw them live a several times. One of my best concerts I’ve ever been, was Green Day in a pretty small venue here in Germany before they got really big with American Idiot 👍🏻
Two weeks ago I saw the warning with a similar sized crowd. Both concerts are now in my top 3 concerts I’ve been so far …
They recently played this live on their us tour. It was part of the "jar song" where they passed out a jar with a and full of songs they either haven't played in a while or rarely do. It came out twice.

Most teenage girls have to work through their teenage angst. These women ( then girls) did it by feeling it, deconstructing it, playing with it, score it, rehearse it, then, play the living crap out of it. Talent, with talent, with talent.
It has just occurred to me how many "unsingable" things these women manage to sing and make it catchy???????????

They were just kids back then in 2018, 18, 16, and 13 years old.
This track is the most fun of the album. Definitely Punk. Their other punk track is Narcisista (sang in Spanish) I am sure you will cover at some point. Great reaction guys!

I had to laugh... The Offspring is probably my favorite band of the past twenty years... and because of the lyrics. Which is mostly why I've loved The Warning. It's not "just" their musicianship, which is amazing on it's own right, but the intelligent and thoughtful lyrics. It's pretty much what makes me an Iron Maiden fan, too. I love when bands create poetic, thoughtful lyrics to combine with their music... pretty much no matter what the genera. Which, in turn, rather explains my somewhat eclectic musical tastes. Lyrics are the common thread. 😋
Very Nice Reaction Guys! Awesome song! How do they do it? I'm guessing your next song will be Hunter and it is another banger and the lyrics are off the charts fire! The Queen is being hunted! Is it the Grim Reaper? There is a killer Acoustic version of Hunter that you should react to at the same time as the one at Lunario. Ale and Dany switch instrument parts at the start, it's mind blowing. Ale has an acoustic bass and Pau is playing those little drum pads and has a foot pedal also. Even if you don't react to it you should watch it. "The Warning Hunter Acoustic Version"

I'm glad to see you're enjoying the ride. I'm not a fan of so-called cheerleader punk here, but I've gotten used to it and don't mind it. I never warmed up to punk rock in general. Too outre for me.
@@g.garcia7151 There are usually exceptions to many things, but I was stating in general. When I think of punk, I think of The Ramones and The Sex Pistols, and both generally turned me off. As such, I paid little attention to the genre.
I loved this since the first time I heard it!😄 Definite 'punk cheerleader' vibes. Matter of fact, it's affectionately known as the 'cheerleader song' among The Warning fans. The amount of riffs that Dany runs through while singing this, just blows my mind!! I can play regular chords and sing, but she can play complex runs and still have the presence of mind to sing (and sing well) throughout.😮 They can really get the crowd wound up on this one!😍🎵🎶👍 The way they can take elements that sound like other bands and combine them with their own unique twist and catchy lyrics, is a real specialty with them. It gives their music that classic rock, metal, whatever, feel, but is uniquely The Warning!!🤘😎🤘
Great reaction video. This is one of my favourite tracks from The Warning. Homicidal madness never sound better. I agree with your comments about it having a real punk sound to it. Someone did once mention that sounded like an anti-Teen Titans track.

Why is the F in your band logo not standing straight up like the S opposite it? Is it 'offset' on purpose? I would actually turn the S sideways to match.
