They have been doing this for just about a full decade. They're not a "new" band, nor an overnight success. They've been paying their dues right along. Their perseverance has gotten them this far, and they are ready and willing to do the work to climb higher.

If you had told me a mere 5 years ago that my favorite band would soon be an all female rock band from Mexico, I would have probably had a coronary before I could stop laughing. I have never been a fan of all female groups ( the closest was Heart and that's not close at all). I had never heard any Mexican group. And finally, I gave up on rock years ago. Very little music held my interest for more than a few plays. These young ladies have changed my mind in so many ways.

Dad, you are so right about Dany(lead singer) she puts it all out there every time, all the time. She sings and expresses herself, musically, straight from her heart and soul. She is the real deal. She's equally enjoyable when laid back with her acoustic, singing like an angel.

Careful, you are on the verge of being Warned. Pau is also quite a singer as well, try Narcisista from Foro Didi, or Dust to Dust from the Lunario. Dust to Dust is a heavy song while other great songs like Dull Knives are straight-up hard rock or PSYCHOTIC has a punk feel to it. You will find songs that have punk elements, pop elements, and even grunge elements but it's still Rock 'n Roll!

Greetings from Fresno, California. Another great reaction NOBODIES! This is the 1st single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. From the drummer Paulina: "Choke is about being so overwhelmed by your feelings that you start to drown on them and choke on them and we really wanted the song to reflect that hopelessness you sometimes feel and just offer it to everyone as a safe place to feel those feelings and just like a place of comfort for them". The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is a banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are just 21, 19 and 16 years old now and have already written and arranged 44 original songs all by themselves! I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.
Looking forward to watching you discover more of this great band!

Try Dust to Dust live at Lunario CDMX it will show you just how talented and versatile this power trio is. There is only one other official video the rest and there are a lot are all either live on stage or live in their basement studio they are pure energy live. They had earlier recording contract offers, but they declined them because the labels wanted them to change their music, how they dress on stage, and such. The former, apparently labels wanted them to be more pop; the latter, well, I don't even want to think about). One executive asked them whether they'd rather play for 12 or 12000 people; they sent the hapless representative packing with "we'd rather play the music we like, dressed as we like, for 12 people than do something we don't like for 12000". They've played for bigger audiences at festivals and opened for the likes of Def Leppard, so I don't think they exactly lost much sleep over that, but it's indicative of how they value their artistic vision and are more interested in developing than Hitting It Big. They spent 7 months negotiating with Lava because they wanted to maintain full creative control and their Patreon support (which apparently labels don't like, I presume because it's an independent income stream). Their parents have been extremely supportive of them, but the impetus comes from Dany, Pau, and Ale themselves.
They appear to want long careers in music, and understand that it will be better for them in the long run to take it step by step than to become big stars and flame out, as we've seen plenty of other artists do. And life is not 24x7 music for them. They don't participate in sports because of the risk of injury, but they do make sure to exercise and take good care of themselves, and they have other outlets (they're avid gamers). They're very open in interviews and absolutely hilarious in vlogs. They also deeply appreciate the support they've received from their fans and reciprocate. I saw one video back in May of the top metal songs of the month; Choke was on it (even though it's not actually metal, as you note). The comments were flooded by us fans, and someone commented that their PR agency must have been paid big money. Someone explained that their "PR agency" is their fans, and that many of us pay (Patreon) for the privilege. Some fans have been rather more involved than that; one fan donated a pair of Spector basses to Ale and also served as her tech for a few shows.
You might also enjoy their latest single Evolve (which is a bit more prog, but definitely heavy) and some of their older songs like Queen of the Murder Scene, which is a bit more metal.

I am sure others will have said this already but seven years ago they did a cover of Mettalica's Enter Sandman and that started it all. Yes, seven years ago, aged 9. 12 and 14. These girls are already veterans. I also love their early cover of Foo Fighters The Pretender and Mettalica's Atlas Rise. As for originals, it's all good, but Dust to Dust will surprise you. As a side note, I am not sure what prompted the "Irish" comment but you sound like you're from the Northeast and maybe Irish. If so you might like these Irish ladies and their cover of Rory Gallagher's Cradle Rock. czcams.com/video/W2EQ_0oUvKw/video.html It's blues/rock not metal, but some pretty good stuff.

It is not metal, it is harder Rock’n’Roll. Suggest that you listen to Dust to Dust live from their gig at Lunario. There you will find another surprise (or two actually) but no spoiler here...

They describe themselves as hard rock or just rock. But to me it doesn't matter what you call them, as long as the songs are good. I don't have any expectation for what I'm going to hear next. 🙂

Yeah! I'm glad they aren't the heaviest band on the planet, because that means they have more soul than cheese. LOL. All that drum machine sound and growling has gotten so damn old! This is CREATIVITY! And yes, they put their heart and soul into their craft. They knew they wanted to be rockers since they were tiny. Ale was EIGHT YEARS OLD when she was killing Muse's Hysteria on the Bass. This clip is Ale killing it at 10 years old, LIVE and in CONCERT! czcams.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/video.html

what's great about the Warning is they can appeal to even the most stubborn metalheads anywhere, which is a good sign and a good thing.

They played a metal festival in Mexico (Hell and Heaven) in 2018, I believe. They were afraid that they would get chased off the stage, but in fact the audience loved them.
