The kane manè sanè dream wont be fulfilled 😔
Mane actually won titles.

Been dreaming this for the last 6-7 years..but you know some things never gonna happen 😒

As a Liverpool supporter, while I'm not prepared to completely write off Mane as finished, one thing a lot of people aren't talking about is that he has been on the decline for a couple of years now. His form was going on a downward trajectory well before he left Liverpool
He had a very bad run of form during the 20/21 season, which he's said was the worst of his career so far. He had a good run of form post AFCON last year but he had to be played centrally instead of the left wing like he had been played in previous years and even then, he wasn't reaching the same heights he hit from 2017-2020
I'm not sure if he'll be able to turn things around at Bayern Munich, especially after the Sane incident, but I hope he can turn his career around. Even if he's on the wrong side of 30, he is still a world class player and coming from a Liverpool fan, he's always been very respectful towards the fans. It's a shame to see him like this
People who don't really watch LFC don't know that. They try to downplay what we who watched him week in week out said and are still in denial mode. He was never the same after the title win and it continued until the start of last season all the way to post afcon, and moving position centrally says alot
Mane 23 goals for Liverpool last season
Hey, I'm a Bayern fan and I think I can point out a couple things that ended up going wrong this season.
First he was brought in to be more of a 9 than a winger as we already had 3 very solid wingers. The team and Nagelsmanns system didn't fit his style of play, which led him to have no real positional direction. Trying to replace a tall, strong, high level finisher with a converted winger just doesn't work. I will say if he was able to stay onside he would be the leading goalscorer in the leauge.
Another is the injury before the world cup. He's just isn't able to play at the level Bayern want. His speed is gone, his touch has been terrible and watching him play is kinda just waiting for a mistake.
I don't think he has the mentality of a Bayern player, which does surprise me. He gets frustrated easily by physical play, quits early on attacking moves and seems to complain a lot. When you look at the leaders of the team like Muller, Kimmich, Davies and DeLigt they all go 100% for 90 min and are continually pushing their teammates during the game. Every team plays a low block against Bayern which can take a long time to finally break down and it just doesn't seem like he's up for it most games.
I hope the situation can be resolved, but I think moving him and clearing the wages for an elite 9 is the best solution.
@@bon3s325 he was behind Jota throughout the season until Jota got injured, goal wise he recovered after moving position centrally performance wise he's not hence why he got move in the first place. You keep downplaying people who watch him week in week out.
@@GodfatherBoxSet I've defended Sadio for the entire two season when he struggle to even dribble past players after the title winning season. But to lose your place on a player who just come in January says alot. I wont lie and say i don't want him to stay but he decided to leave so understandable. What i don't get is his fans(not Liverpool fans who watch him week in week out) that keep on saying Liverpool's downfall is due to Mane leaving. As far as im concerned Sadio didn't play in midfield and defence so that doesn't even make sense in the first place.
Mane wasnt doing badly before the injury. That injury completely derailed his settling in process at Bayern. Coupled with the absolutely insane decision to change coaches in the middle of the season and one can understand why Mane has struggled at Bayern.
He was doing badly before the injury. I have watched all our matches
@@kaustavborgohain5161 100%, Mane is trash, he simply is not right for Bayern + his level has dropped extremely low and he lacks discipline. Mane, Chopo Moting, Upemcano, Gnarbli and Sane should be sold asap.
@@andrisbig7710 not upa sane and gnabry choupo is a good backup. Sell goretzka Mane sabitzer bouna sarr.
Has he suffered the same curse as Coutinho?
Supposedly he was part of the reason why Nagelsmann was dropped.
His punch on Sane was the best thing he has done all season 💀
as someone who watches bundesliga every week, i cant remember a single good game of him this season. Really weird I thinks hes a great guy and i loved him at liverpool
True
How do you have the patience to watch a farmers league every week
@@EliasRoy Just like PL fans have patience to watch city lift the cup every year.
@@EliasRoy Bundesliga literally had the best title race, relegation battle, and champions league qualification scrap out of the top 5 leagues. There was barely a game not worth watching.
@@EliasRoy of course not every game is fun to watch but thats in every league. What i really enjoy about watching the bundesliga is seeing the fans go crazy and that all teams can beat each other. (except bayern munich tho this season every team could beat them too )
Mané was always an odd choice for Bayern. The team needed a classic #9 to offset losing Lewandowski but found precious few strikers on the market who they could have gotten (no way was Haaland going to Bayern).
Personally I would have thought somebody like Isak would have been as close to perfect as he has the size, speed and skill to become featured on their 1st team but it would have been a big leap of faith for them to pull the trigger on him.
So they went with Mané who had been an elite winger on some of the best teams of the last decade. Problem was, his game has always relied on speed and at 31 he was slowing down. Not to mention his recent injury history. Players like him dont get better with age.
He's a great player, no doubt and early on he looked fantastic but then he kept getting these little dings. Plus he played a very tough international schedule in the African Cup instead of getting some much needed rest.
He looked like a completely different player by the time the New Year began. Tentative, unable to contribute and Bayern s@#$ the bed in a bad way.
I don't blame Mané I just dont think Bayern found the right guy as Mane and Lewandowski are far different players.
We can put that blame on Naggelsman choices. Naggelsman did not wanted a classic 9, he wanted something like Julian Álvarez... a number 9 that can make a pressure on the rival during the entire match and make those running between full backs and center backs and be good passing and controlling the ball. So thats the reason he wanted Sadio so much, but Bayern was not made to play without a classic 9.
Why no way for haaland? Dortmund players joining bayern is a german tradition
@@gejamugamlatsoomanam7716 true but a couple of reasons: 1) Dortmund fans would have mutinied had they sold Haaland to Bayern. 2) Harland openly despised Bayern. Like he truly hates the team for whatever reason and 3) Harland wanted a move to England since the end of the 20/21 season
@@alexschwallz1954 you know, I never thought of it that way regarding Nagelsmann never playing with a classic #9 but when I look back it's been staring me back in my face without me noticing for a while now.
Timo Werner was about as close to a classic #9 as Nagelsman ever played before even if Werner was more of a classic poacher/pressing forward who needed to play next to a Poulson rather than a Lewandowski type.
In fact Poulson was probably the closest thing to a perfect striker in a Nagelsman system. Tall, big and strong who was great at winning the ball back and making quick passes to teammates.
I'm not saying Haaland couldn't perform that role for Nagelsman but why would he when he's really there to put the ball in the back of the net.
“… he even speaks about getting into arguments with his uncle after his father had passed, over how harvesting crops took time away from his training - which is ironic considering the league he plays in.” 😭
That’s cold, T. Real fridgy
i think a vid on sane would be interesting. he was terrifiying and city and seemed destined for the world stage but he's been so patchy at bayern.
The legendary Ghost of Munich
Mane and Salah are one of my favorite attacking duo`s of all time.
Liverpool did a great job bringing those two together.
i think Mane unfortunately became slightly underrated due to playing with Salah who was a more superior goalscorer, but Mane was the better playmaker in my personal opinion.
Edit: I`m not saying that Mane is better then Salah, because quite frankly he isn`t. Just that he was very important for the way that Liverpool used to attack. Mane due to his effectiveness gave Firmino and Salah a lot of space.
what? Salah Always had more assists than Mane when playing together
Mane is more consistent in his time at Liverpool.
Chatting absolute bollocks salah has always had more goals and more assists by a long margin . This narrative is made up by people who didn't watch the two week in and week out
@@derefhrsjk play maker doesn't necessarily mean more assist. It can be the player who starts off a move by either pressing and forcing the opponents to go long and lose the ball or pulling as many players out of position then switching the ball to the opposite side. Yes Salah is a better finisher but as you can see, where they are in the league you'll realize that you do need players who can do the dirty work and he did it well
Liverpool fan here , salah is just a better player fullstop. And how you calling it a duo...its a trio dont forget Bobby
Hey. Could you please make a video on jose mourinho's roma? I feel like the way he has transformed the club recently deserves to be talked about.
What managing to get (as it stands) two 6th place finishes with a club that have only finished lower than 7th twice since the last millennium? He's had two full seasons now and they've made no progress whatsoever. If they win one and lose one of their remaining games they have exactly the same points tally as last season. Roma when they are doing well are top 2 or 3. You only have to go back to 17/18 for the last of a 5 year run of seasons in which they were either 2nd or 3rd.
I'm a Manchester United fan but I have nothing but respect for Mane, he was one of the best players in the world during his peak years
Sad it has to be stated so clearly by a rival fan but thank you. YNWA
I do not like his diving.
I think the same could be said of Sane. It's like he lost his pace when he got injured, which seems like something Pep already knew. Similar to Son at Tottenham. 30yr old wingers are very hard to gauage, especially in high-pressing teams. Mane has to reinvent himself or move to Italy. The problem with Mane at Bayern is Muller. Muller occupies the space Mane is better suited. Additionally Gnabry is a younger version of Mane so he's the automatic starter. I think Mane needs to move to Italy where the brain is required more than the athleticism, hence Giroud still excelling.
I was surprised he went to Bayern Munich in the first place, Italy with one of the top teams or France with Marseille
people always wanna throw sané under the bus but he performed very well.
the last game against köln he was the best player.
Love your vids and thanks for covering Mane. As a Liverpool supporter and a supporter of the player it’s been tough seeing his tough times since the move to Bayern. Getting injured, missing out on World Cup, and struggling to make an impact like he did for years at Liverpool. I hope he can turn it around next season!!
The thing is Mane was like this for a long time at Liverpool as well in his last 2 seasons till the last 6 months. What made Mane so good for so many years was his Pace, strength and stamina, now those qualities are slowly declining which is why in his last six months at Liverpool Klopp eventually had to change the system for him to play as a false 9 then he was able to find a lot of success in that position. I don't know what Bayern are playing him as i don't watch them but if it requires a lot of energy Mane is not their man. As a Liverpool fan even tho i wouldn't take him back because we have to move forward i still miss him. He was top player when our team was on top and when our team was underpressure was a clutch player. Don't know if i remember the stat correctly but he has the most winning or equalizing goals for us after 90 min, we would surely atleast be top 4 with him. He will always be a Liverpool legend!
I personally thought his last season with us was pretty good he looked a lot quicker and sharper then the season prior and Im seeing a lot of other liverpool fans saying that he wasnt that good or that he was on a donward spiral after the 20/21 season which I don't think is true imo he was really good for us in the 21/22 season I never noticed a drop in pace/ athleticism
@Darth Vader 10 times better?! Mad deluded take
@Darth Vader Oh i see you are just a Mane hater nevermind
@Darth Vader It's the what your comments are telling me. Mane has been top 3 most important players in Liverpool since he arrived to say he won't be remembered as a legend is disgraceful as someone who says they're a Liverpool fan
3 videos in 6 days; I love how frequent and better these videos are becoming. Keep it up 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Great video as per usual, I don't know how you do it but every time you find a really interesting topic. I've watched every single video uploaded in the last year or so, which is kinda crazy
He was out for half the season due to a bad injury once he started finding his groove. Despite that he still has similar stats to Gnabry, Coman, and Sane who played full seasons. People are writing him off far too early, he will cook next year.
I think Bayern changed their system for him. Before his arrival they played a 4-2-3-1 after his arrival they played 4-2-4 often which is horrible when the attackers are standing on each others feet. They need an attacker who can secure the ball in the box. I would honestly prefer Tel over Mané at the moment.
Bayern definitely wants to get rid of Mané and several EPL clubs are interested, such as Chelsea, Newcastle, etc. . Only Mané does not want to leave, which is not surprising given the amount of money he is earning.
He wants to prove himself. You think that those EPL clubs can't pay him just as much?
@@resikin They maybe can, but he earns around 415k GBP per week, so that already limits the amount of clubs to a select few. But even if they could, they maybe don't want to after how his year at Bayern went.
Love and appreciate your contact my guy👌🏼 I literally try by all means to never skip any new video you post🤝🏼 Keep it up👊🏽
I never thought his move to Munich made any sense. He was a great play mate with Mo Salah and Liverpool have been missing that this season.
As a liverpool fan I am gutted for the lad he was one of my favourite players hope things work out for him.
Quite a sad and surprising turn of events indeed. Hope next season goes well for him. Awesome vid, thank you.
I’m sorry things aren’t going well for him. A lot of other comments are mentioning how an earlier injury is still slowing him down. I hope he and Leroy sort it out and I wish them all the best.
Thanks for the video!
Great watch as always 👊🏿
Great episode. He was the most exciting transfer to Bayern for me in a very long time. I was very much looking forward to his incredible goal prowess and intelligence with Bayern and have been consistently shocked at what has transpired so far. I was absolutely gutted watching him sit on the field expecting the worse right before the World Cup. I hope Bayern keep him and I hope the new season brings with it huge success for the guy. He was incredible to watch in the Prem.
I loved him at Liverpool, I love how much he does for his home village and in Liverpool behind-the-scene videos he always came across as a quiet and friendly guy. I have no idea what happened between him and Sané, but I really hope things will get better for him soon.
I mean for a striker he has a great right hook 💪
Love your work brother, thank you 🙏
Awesome video! Keep em coming 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Side suggestion: you could probably get yourself a microphone holder ;)
😂 cheers
love your videos so much man!
Again, logical and well delivered. Can’t get enough of this content Tanashe.
Sometimes it's just a matter of bad timing. Getting a long term injury so not able to get into the groove, disappointment of missing the World Cup, new coach. After a proper off season, if he stays fit, he should be back, providing there's stability on the coaching front.
On another note, I'm going to start a collection for a new mic stand bro 😄
Bro your voice is very calming, love your videos.
Leaving liverpool was his worst mistake.
Not in terms of money. Liverpool significantly underpaid him compared to rest of the EPL and his quality. I don't know why rising players like Kane and Mane signs long contracts like that.
@@secretyoutube7925 he could have signed a new contract with a better deal.
Still better than being washed up and drained like he is now.
@@secretyoutube7925 Money can make you forget embarrassing moments like the one with Sane? He wasn't exactly paid sunday league wages at Liverpool. He got greedy, and listened to his deluded senegalese fans.
@@redshift8302 imagine calling mane greedy
Nope. He has secured generational wealth. Fairplay to him
When you hear Kahn's comments about Mane needing a lot of encouragement and transparent communication from his manager, it makes you think this guy may have stumbled into the perfect manager at the perfect moment when he moved to Liverpool at the dawn of the Klopp era.
They refused to break wage structure for kroos and alaba but mane comes in and suddenly he's the highest earner? What the fuck are kahn and brazzo doing to Bayern??
They have a lot to answer for...
I love your videos thank you keep it up and have a nice day
1 thing is clear he's still very kind and donate to people in his home country what a nice guy with the right values🔝🔝
Really thought he would tear up the Bundesliga. I thought Him Sane Gnabry everybody would win the Bundesliga. Then after shock appointment of Tuchel i thought Dortmund’s title hopes are over. I have realized I couldn’t have been more wrong. Make a video on Adel Taarabt,Mousa Dembele or some other streets won’t forget players. (Ya’ll can suggest some names cause I am a bit new to football)
Tuchel has impacted Bayern. But we were shit before tuchel arrived. Second in the Bundesliga by one point when we had naglesmann. And UCL matches were so shitty.
@@kaustavborgohain5161 Good one. Never saw someone as delusional as you in a long time.
@@kaustavborgohain5161 Not even close to being true. We dominated Barca, Inter, and PSG. How can you call that shitty.
@@resikin maybe you did not watch the match. Against Barca at Allianz in the first half Barca was far better than us. If Lewy and pedri would have finished the chances we would have lost. Against inter they were too passive . Against PSG in the first leg we had like 90 percent of the ball until mbappe came. It was so horrifying to watch. Three offside goals of PSG were ruled out. Pavard had to foul messi or it would have been 1-1. In the first half at Allianz PSG were better than us than due to some half time tactical changes we started dominating them. All of our flaws were exposed against city.
Very interesting video regarding the recent decline of Sadio Mane, thanks for that! I would love to watch your take on the current Bundesliga season in total, where it seems Bayern isn't winning any major trophy this year. Just one more match to go and it looks like Dortmund is finally going to secure the title since Klopp's departure. Is that something you might be interested in?
Well that didn’t age well lol
@@Allwin-lz6yj nope, unfortunately not at all :(
Mane should NEVER have left LFC. He let those people in Senegal get into his head . They were telling him stupid things like you do all the work but Salah gets the glory . I was gutted when Mane left LFC but I had a feeling it wouldn't work out for him. He reminds me of courthinho his just one of those players who should have stayed at a club where he was successful.
Yes the hate of his Senegal people against Salah was to big (see they awful comments when he was playing at Liverpool and than the whole radiculus awful things during the qualification for World Cup). They made him with they stupid comments crazy that he has to be better than Salah.
He wasn't and never couldn't be better than Salah.
Salah prooved that every time high.
Even now at our worst season Salah was our best striker and playmaker.
@@dzenitadelic3254 He was better than Salah last year and 18-19 when Liverpool won the UCL lmao. You're pretending that Mane wasn't injured for half the season this year.
This whole situation just perfectly fits our season this year 💀
I was so excited for Mane since I've always admired him at Liverpool... all the more frustrating what he's brought to Munich i guess
Mane's decline isn't sudden. If people actually watched him they'd notice that
Facts. Biggest bs ever that the Liverpool decline is due to Mane leaving
What's funny is that "football experts" said he was better than Salah after he left Liverpool

keep going mane,,,, only one way we all have......look forward and keep working.............................
Nice video ❤
Kane Mane Sane
I'm not gonna give up on it just yet 😂
With Bayern, as a fan, his attitude is worst than his performances, I don't care if he doesn't score or whatever, but everytime he plays he looks as if he was doing everyone a favour and his body language is annoyng probably even to his teammates. He has become exactly the type of player you don't want in your team, overpaid, underperforming, and a nuisance to his teammates and manager.
It was not the correct signing for Bayern from any angle and they basically wasted what they earned from Lewandowski's transfer...which could have been very useful this season that the squad is desperate for a striker and all available options are at least 100M euros.
You seem to have confused him with Leroy Sane. It's Sane who does all those things and has been criticized for his poor body language since he's got here. Don't forget he won us our only goal against City while Sane ghosted.
Leroy Sane has no vision and is either a garbage passer or purposely making shit passes to Mane. Anyone would be pissed going from Salah, Jota, Henderson passes to shit Sane.
Another home run of a video. Even with the 12 hour power cuts, this man still delivers
It’s common for strikers that have blistering pace to start to fall off at 31, his skill set also depends on good interplay with other strikers. Firmino was a selfless provider at Liverpool. I was happy as a liverpool fan when we sold him as I sensed he would quickly drop in form, if he was a Suarez or messi type of player who could take on defenders at close quarters or create space with passing and skills he would last longer, but salah always took on defenders more than mane so as pure speed dropshe will score less
Fr for his age he is good
He didnt even get a minute in the title deciding game
Good find on these quotes by oliver Kahn about Mane. Its exactly how i feel about Mane. Bayern should have tried everything they could to get Kane because Kane fits to Bayern. With Mane it looks like Bayern just tried to get a rather affordable star striker. I expected Mane to score 15 to 20 goals in the bundesliga. You can see it's hard to score a lot of goals in the Bundesliga and all those past top goal scorere also managed to score the same or more goals in the PL or La Liga (Lewandoski, Haaland, Aubameyang).
Mr Football Iconic representing South Africa, papi 🇿🇦!
Good vid
Thank you
He was always declining the new role Liverpool played him in saved him.
Good video! Even as a Man City fan I’ve always liked my African brother, Mane. He’s super talented and a real role model. A good guy. You’re right the purported bust-up with Sane was uncharacteristic of this dude’s personality. Wish him continued success.
Oh yeah, Mane seems like a kind guy.
Dont know what Sane did.
Great respect for mane. 💚☘️👍
You the man Tatenda 🎉
As a Liverpool fan, i would say attacking wise Mané seemed to already be falling abit of before we sold him, and i feel like, when things werent going his way on the pitch he would get frustrated and maybe try abit to much. He made up for it by being a great team mate and fight with 100% every match and he was very good at winning the ball back. If bayern needed at player like that, he would have been a perfect fit, and if he stayed in Liverpool he would have probably got his form back. But Bayern tried to replace a goal scorer with a fighter on the wing. It was like casting Jim Parsons to play Rocky. I think everybody can loose their temper if enough things in your life aren't going like you want it, it doesnt have to be something major. also it was just a little bust up, that can happen in sport also with teammates. Good on you for not even talking about Rumors.
He jsut needs to Adjust his game now, he doest have the fast pace anymore
The roast of Bundesliga on 2:00 is as subtle as is gold! 😅
First manè then firmino only salah is left from that legendary Liverpool front 3
Mane did ocassionally get stroppy and frustrated for Liveprool, throwing his arms up or frowning when something didn't come off or Salah didn't pass to him. There were rumours of them falling out once or twice.
Bayern and the fans might have expected too much from Mane in terms of goalscoring. They weren't getting a Louis Suarez. Mane scored between 10 and 20 league goals most seasons for Liverpool. He was a solid secondary/supporting striker who was a fantastic counter-attacker and contributed a lot to the team. If you allow for a bit of a dip in the first season while settling in (see Messi at PSG), there was no real reason to worry about his goaslcoring. I feel like some of these dominant clubs in other leagues buy Liverpool players on their reputation and then almost expect too much too soon.
Great video, wish you could cover more content on African teams.
Even mané could dodge the klopp curse. Once you leave klopp you drop heavily. Can't remember a player that left klopps Liverpool and did better.
as a rival fan, it was easy to dislike or joke about players in klopps team, Mane was a massive exception, seemed like a genuine guy and he also did the business, so I would just keep quiet, because you never knew if another speedy hatrick was coming 😅
bro you have a great voice
Sadio Mane doesn't just become a bad player overnight there has to be many factors as to why he's a shadow of his former self this season at Bayern Munich. This was a big move for him and Bayern because they were getting a player who's been one of the best players in the premier league for many seasons considering his exploits at Liverpool for 6 seasons, his form, goals, and all around game contributed to Liverpool's success under Jurgen Klopp and when he made that move to Bayern Munich, there were big expectations on his shoulders to deliver. He started off well in October, he was already in double digits in terms of goals, and after that injury where he missed the World Cup, he's been nowhere near his best. He's lacking confidence, he doesn't score goals anymore, he's on the ball doesn't take on players, and it's not just his performances that have disappointed the neutrals, he himself has become a problem in the Bayern Munich dressing room and is a distraction at the football club right now. 2 months ago after a game, he was angry at Julian Nagelsmann for being dropped during a game and had that confrontation with his manager in front of his teammates in the dressing room. Last month after the City game in the dressing room, he punched Leroy Sane and as a result of that incident, he was suspended for a game and Bayern fined him after that. Sadio Mane in a span of 18 months went from untouchable, first name on the team sheet with Liverpool to benchwarmer and someone this good of a player, it's a tough period. Now, they want to get rid of him as he's a bad apple in the dressing room and he isn't in Thomas Tuchel's plans. Good luck with that because he's on a big salary and I don't see them selling him. Even though it's been a tough season for him, I doubt that Sadio Mane can rediscover his Liverpool form he's on the wrong side of 30 and considering the poor season he's had, some of us can expect his performances to continue to show signs of decline and it'll be tough for him to get back to that previous level.
its always about how liverpool did him dirty. not about how klopp elevated his game and turned him into a superstar like he did with many players.
Good video! as a LFC fan who has watched almost all their games with Mane as part of THAT front 3 I can see why the move has not worked as well as Bayern were expecting. Maybe he is just not as consistently explosive or relentless as he was two or three years ago? however I think the main reason is he just better suited to a transitional game and he won't get that at Bayern. He is also best off the left not as a number 9, so if Bayern were looking to replace Lewandowski with Mane its no wonder it has failed. How can he build confidence if the recruitment is flawed? Saying that, given the right player at 9 (like a Kane) recruited this summer then you will see the real Mane shine at Bayern, and I really hope it happens for him there.
Great player .. he was sorely missed at Anfield all season.
He'll come good.
YNWA
He was really good st. Shouldnt have left, he's not a winger anymore.
As a Liverpool fan this is a sad story for mane
Mane was lashing in Liverpool too, he has been rude to Klopp on camera and he lashed out to the bench when Salah did not pass to him against Burnley
Nice presentation.Stays with the facts and is very informative!
Thanks for doing a professional job with this.
Calling Thomas Tuchel 'Tommy T' is something i never thought i needed.😂
Injury can cause the form of best of players to plummet eventually they are forgotten and that is one of the darkside of contact sports like football. This reminds me of hazard, ansu fati, and many more
As a liverpool fan who watched every single Mane game at the club for a few seasons I have to say I’m not surprised by the decline.
Mane peaked in our title winning season. Since then something happened and he wasn’t the same since. Maybe it was the hamstring injury or something else. He just wasn’t the same. The quality in front of goal was still there but there was always something he couldn’t pull off time and time again.
during the covid season when we had everyone injured his bad runs of form could be attributed to the team not firing on all cylinders. In his last season when we almost won everything something was just not quite right. As a wide player you’d find him trying to take on someone an entire match and it just wasn’t working out. The goals where there and when they were not Salah was in the form of his life pampering over the cracks.
His move to a false nine position helped a lot. He didn’t have to rely on his athleticism as much which wasn’t the same. All he had to do was link up play and boy did he do it well. This new Mane was bliss but when he announced his departure it felt right.
The mane we’d remember is the one who dragged us to the champions league final and pushing for all the titles all the way. His legacy wouldn’t be the wide forward trying stuff while it’s not just working out.
If Bayern were expecting the explosive winger who brought terror to every defender and not the false 9 who was the closest thing we had to firmino they were in for a surprise. The injury probably didn’t for him and the club to figure out his place. But the decline isn’t a surprise.
He’s still a quality player and no doubt he’ll be vital for Bayern soon but he’s not the same player he was at his peak and Bayern should figure out a role that suits his current offfering
He was so good for us upfront, It seemed like he had the tools to play there. Shame he left. Could got another 3 years out of a slower mane, maybe more technically refinded version. Good shooting, heading and link up player. Remember that assist vs manu 😎
The sad thing is, Bayern did everything to get Mane to come and feel welcomed in Munich. Made him their top earner, gave him every consideration he could ask for, changed the system to fit his needs, even signed Sadio Mane's best friend Désiré Ségbe on Mané's wish. Only for Ségbe to be the better signing than Mane. What an utter disappointment.
Hold up: they gave him all the concessions they could and he brought a better player with him to the team? Doesn’t that sound like Bayern is already getting what they want?
@@finneykewa Well...he's playing for the reserve team. And, if we're being serious, he's not even close to as good as Mane. But he's still been a better signing than Mane because Mane has been such a net negative. It's sad.
He was injured for half of the season, give him a break. Meanwhile Sane has been ghosting in the UCL for three seasons straight. Yes he has been a disappointment but it's far too early to pass judgment.
He was part of a great trio, but thought he was the main man in the trio.. he was wrong. Together they were awesome.. on their own... even Salah has had a poor season compared to his previous ones.
He was never the main man. That was his big problem.
Yes Salah wasn't very constant at scoring goals but even now when our whole team strugles he was our best striker and assisting player.
Stop with that disgusting crap hate against Salah.
Salah was and would be always better.
He prooves everyone everytime.
All what you hater need to do is to look at that truth and not close your eyes.
Salah had a good season, Liverpool had a bad season.
This was not the first time for Mane to lash out, last time it happened everyone blamed Mo Salah but it was Mane who lashed out for not getting a pass after squandering 15 of them in the same match. Never liked the guy as a player.
Should be what's going on with Bayern in general.
Another banger video
you haven't even had time to watch it fully my guy
We all know the prem is the new farm.
Sadio was simply the most effective footballer in the Premier League
He needs to come back in epl personally as an arsenal would be a dream he will adapt better
Liverpool fan for 40 years, this is what we do we never sell a player on the way up (unless they are a kid) in the backroom they knew the only way was down.
I think in some cases the players you are playing beside can bring the best out of you and when they move that magic tails off
Where did this idea that Mane isn’t violent come from? He had a number of screaming matches with salah and wasn’t afraid of a shove. He has elbowed multiple opponents and has a fuck ton of yellows considering his position. His punch up with Sane shouldn’t be considered “uncharacteristic”
Yeah especially given Sane's standoffish personality. He had it coming.
you mentioned he was a first choice at liv but was he really at bayern? was the style of play suited him? the guy seemed to trust the coach but it didn't work out plus players were not so supportive in the game. there was time he would make runs but ended up not receiving the ball plus his adaptation to the league was sort of rough. he is still a top player, stats don't define him if you watch him really, you'll know. versatil player, great abilities i'll take him anytime.
A lot of people choose to forget that mane's season didn't start until after afcon last year before which has was mediocre. Something that was true for the entirety of the year before as well.
Liverpool fans been saying this for the entire season but no one seems bothered about it because apparently recency bias helps.
His problem is quite common for goalscoring wingers, he isn't nearly as effective leading the line, and needs a striker with good hold up play to create space for him to exploit, something Bayern don't have. It doesn't help that his game relies too much on pace, and age is catching up
Perhaps he could find a new place on the field as a second striker of sorts, but I don't see Bayern changing their 4-2-3-1 soon
Also I like your moustache brother
Moting does all that. Mane just isn’t a fit for Bayern.
@@finfog4590 Moting is a mediocre player pal, he's big and that's very much it
@@malcoerazo4213 Moting was a top 5 striker this year when he was at his peak. Great finishing, dribbling, hold-up play, and heading abilities. The injury before the game against City was very unfortunate.
@@resikin HAHAHAHAHA
I got the 'farmers league' dig at the Bundesliga (timestamp 2:02) 😂😂😂😂
