Read the facts how can arteta be better when he has taken arsenal backwards 5 years and ole has us (or should have us) in a title challenge. Also you can't use money as an excuse because in the same time arteta has spent more than ole (their first 2 seasons). • @DontMentionMyName11
      @DontMentionMyName11 Před 2 lety +3

      Yes, there are teams that have done so, but in recent history, out of the top 5 leagues, the only teams to have done so were juventus in a weak Serie A and A.C. Milan in the early 90s in a 34 game season.
      When arsenal did it, there was far tougher opposition in a far more competitive league. Chelsea just had their financial takeover, Liverpool were a year away from winning the champions league, and united were in their most dominant era.
      Prime barca under pep, Bayern Munich, PSG, the galacticos, and every other dominant team of their time have failed to achieve this feat.
      Going unbeaten in the Premier League is a completely different achievement and I don't think we will see for a very long time, if every again. The money and level in the lower Premier league teams higher than ever and that skill level will only increase.

    Of course Henry was better in the Prem. Most people judge Ronaldo's United tenure on that season where he scored 31 league goals. Great achievement but take that away and a lot of players have better records than him in the Prem. That was the only season where he got more than twenty in the league for United. And he only got seven assists that year so 38 total goal contributions. Henry's best year at Arsenal he got 24 goals and 20 assists in the league so that blows Ronaldo's super season out of the water. To this day no one has gotten more assists in the Prem. The only other two occasions where Ronaldo scored more than ten league goals in a PL season was when he got seventeen in 06/07 and eighteen in 08/09. How can you compare that to Henry? He has a better super season than the one Ronaldo had and aside from that you can take one of Henry's worst years and it's still better than Ronaldo's second or third best years. and if you compare their forth and fifth best Prem seasons then it starts to get a bit embarrassing.

    The matter of the fact regarding the invincibles is that even though it is undoubtedly an achievement one should be careful not exaggerating that. Arsenal did not loose in the League but over the course of the year they lost 4 games (3 in the CL and one in the FA Cup correct me if I’m wrong) ).
    Even though those are other tournaments, this is not what the people generally have in mind when thinking about invincibility.
    As a matter of fact (again: correct me if I am wrong) Manchester United lost, accumulated over all three tournaments, only 3 times.

Henry was arguably the best forward itw from 2002-2005, robbed of a ballon dor in 03, highly influential in arsenal's success both on the field & globally as a brand (highly influential in attracting a new generation of fans) Granted henry doesnt come close to CR7 as a whole but he was superior in their epl stints.
